  1. I never made this personal. U totally misunderstood what i am saying, yet u accuse me. Its not me the one who is making this personal. I think that for the way he did it. For the moment he did it. Its was plan brutal and animalistic. About clark i think something most of the people think as well. He is dumb and a jerk, and i already said that about the writers. They need to make story, they need the drama. I asked u to describe me some of this flaws that made u think that of lana. I cant answer u if u dont say me anything about what make u take this bad view of a character. And that proves that he doesnt. Are u one of those people that believe whatever lex says? He is circumstantial. He says the things that u usually say in that situation. He doesnt mean that. Its like before killing someone he says "Im sorry". Dude,seriously... u cant take everything told as a matter of fact. Read between the lines. OH MY LOL,dude chill out. Maybe u should give a look at the top of this post. Again i was giving my opinion of a character and doing so, i explained my thoughts. I dont know why u getting so mad. Did u even understand what i was trying to say? Are u serious? Ahah, what the fuck man... "I do kiss TW,yes." "How often?" "Every once in a while, when they'll write in a kiss." Thats what i meant. They train. They practice. They make out to keep it real. Once again u attack me cause u didnt understand what im saying. Im the ono who should stop tolerating this. If u have to be so defensive/offensive, maybe we should stop arguing.
  2. I think that u completely misundertsand lana's place in smallville. Im not telling u that ur forced to like her. It would be stupid. But lana wasnt meant to be a bad character. Maybe those flaws were particularly annoying to u, just like i find lois annoying. But neither of them was meant to be annoying. Its about our very own perception of the character, if we enjoy/like the actress. Wich are this flaws ur talking about? Since he did it out of love, u are willing to set aside. Thats how lex think as well. Im sure he doesnt think that its right to manipulate lana, or the fake baby thing. He is truly concerned to see how depressed lana was after the miscarriage. He knows what he is doing is wrong and bad. But still he does what he has to do because he "loves" her. To keep her by his side. Under that aspect he think he is right, but not under the human crime aspect. He said himself he doesnt. He admitted that he even dislike clark , cause he is always lying and well, clark-like. But he kept the friendship because he was envious. Lex said this. The affection, the interest he may had in clark in the first place, was for selfish reasons. He liked clarks life, and he is envious of that. Did i do that? I said that explaining a character i had to consider what other people thinks . I did not make an essay on ur psychology and why u may not like lana. I could, but i dont. I have tho to take in consideration some of ur possible preference of a character to explain my point. Its circumstantial. I actually find my self capable of liking lionel even in his MB glorious days. He truly doesnt have a choice. He is merely a bastard. He simply doesnt see other ways to get what he wants. Lex on the other side is yes evil, but not completely. He has other choice. We see him struggling between what to do, and how to do it. Its him that willingly choose to go bad. And with time he became just as lionel. Thats why i dislike him. Of course, there is no story without some sort of fight. I never say something/explain my points unless im sure its the truth/i know what i am talking about.
  3. Trust me, that truly can be easily defined. Dude dont get me wrong, i like how lex is written, i like how is potrayed. I find lex fascinating under a psychological interpretaion of the character and indeed i spend some time to actually analyze him,but thats it. I am simply NOT ABLE to like him as a character and his action. Clark has his own layers too. I find my self more in line with clark's usual way of thinking and acting, but sometimes i dont. I cant stand when he is too much dumb or too much of a jerk. It doesnt seems in line with the character, indeed i think the writers made him like that just for the convenience of the storyline/drama. Of course, whatever i say is not because i want people to agree with me or change their mind. Its because like everyone else i like to explain my points and i tend to do it in a very logic and reasoned way. I think thats why people dont like it. Sometimes is difficult to properly counter a well reasoned thought. But its also possible that the reason someone could find my point "dont allowing other explanation " ,its because i explain so good and in detail the mechanism behind what we are talking about, that people realize its actually true. And sometimes the truth can hurt. Ask lana about that. LOL TW was casted on his chemistry with KK. He also have a nice chemistry with AM. I dont feel any particular spark with ED. Chemistry is that kind of thing that u may have with ur old friends cause u have a lot of story together. Sometimes tho happens to meet someone and feel a kind of connection already. That kind that even if u already met that person, u feel like u know each other from a lifetime. Maybe thats why with ED TW didnt have that chemistry. They met in season 4, so she was a newbie. Plus he was married at the time, while i think i heard an interview in wich KK said that she and TW used to make out once in a while to keep it real. Even tho, i dont think thats merely the reason of the lack of chemistry between lois and clark. I actually think that its more ED that doesnt have much feeling with TW,who generally seems to have chemistry with everyone. Probably because he is a likeable and good looking person. Again TW has chemistry with pretty much everyone, i think the thing between him and alicia was more the openess of clark. He was completely at his ease with her. He could truly be himself.
  4. It was a retorical question. Dude,i dont think lex was right and thats why i dislike the relationship. What oliver did with lois was seduction, they didnt have any kind of past. Oliver didnt made any kind of machination in order to get lois where he wanted her. Thats exactly what i was talking about. Wheter u do it in real life as well or not, u agreed with lex morality on the show. For love u agree that lex was right in split clark and lana, manipulate her, corrupt her at his own moral level, deviate her, alienate her from other friends, take control of her life. I simply dont cause what lex did,the WHOLE relationship, was wrong. Simply that, it just feel wrong. Especially because with lex lana wasnt happier or more in love than she was with clark. He did that for selfish reasons, not for lana. I probably have a different view to accept what is right and what is wrong. What lex did to lana was disgusting. Thats what i feel in every lexana scene. The relationship is clearly abusive, there is no way someone could see that as something good for lana. Its not natural. Maybe u prefer her as TV character, maybe u find those story lines more intersting. But as a person, as a human being there is nothing good in that relationship for her. Clexana? That would comprend clark as well. If u meant lexana, then i disagree. To me lana was better with clark. She was a better person. She was happier. She was more passionate and in love. With lex she was unhappy. She was miserable. She was darker and i couldnt stand when she act like luthors.
  5. I understand we just talked about respecting others, so if i will be somehow rude just know im explaining my point. Thats not how lana is been written. Thats ur interpration of the character, but its wrong. It truly is,simply cause thats NOT how lana was meant to be. Lana was created to be the sweet lovely girl. She is the represantion of what the perfect girl should be: beautiful, honest, sweet and extremly loyal. She is not perfect tho,she has flaws. She is human. But she never had a dark side. She never was the way u described. Not even a hint. She was sweet, honest and pure hearted. Thats how the creators wanted lana to be. Of course she has flaw ,like she easly flip. Or is a little bit whiny. Thats lack of love. Thats part of who she is and its some of the thing i personally love of her. She is also brave and has a particular inner strenght. Lex corrupted her, deviated her. Everyone can be corrupted and deviated. If lex wanted to, he would have corrupted chloe as well. Chloe could have been in the same position as lana. Simply chloe is not lex's target. Lex kinda had a sorta of bad influence on clark too. Lionel somehow corrupted chloe in season 2, just he didnt have the hold lex has on lana. Also clark in Wrath understood that all his secrecy and lies, in conjunction with what lex had done to her (which was completely barbaric), altered her personality. They both destroyed an innocent soul and turned her into somebody who was very bitter and vengeful. She never for a second did anything that would harm innocent people, tho. Never. The way u see her deviation as genuine is a way to express ur dislike for the character of the sweet girl that, because of some of her flaws, u think its just a facade. But its not,it never was. Lana was meant to be a tragic figure. She was supposed to be changed completely during the seasons from the actions of others. But not because its part of her being darker, not more than anyone else. He was genuine, but his reason were selfish. He was genuine cause he wanted to feel part of that kind of life. Not because he truly liked clark. Just as he genuinely wanted to be oliver friend, but not because he particularly liked him. Cause he genuine wanted to be seen different from the people at excelsior. And maybe this is the first time, but i totally agree with u about that. Obv he didnt want to cut clark off, he wanted to feel part of that. I think i also said that lana was the represenation of clarks life and that is the reason lex "love" her so much. I think he would have gone for lana anyways, even if they were still friends. He wanted to make a move already in season 4 finale. Lana was shocked and he was aleady trying to get advantage of that. Then once clark and lana got back together, u can see that lex is clearly envious in Mortal and probably already thinking of how split them. Lol,yeah probably not. But i cant help to analyze other people thought and belief if i have to properly give my opinion about something.
  6. Just to explain why i didnt mean to offend and the logic reasoning behind what i generally say. Lexana works,im not denying that. The point is HOW lex make it work. Lex as he said to clark, is willing to do anything to keep it that way. If someone doesnt care about how the relationship was created, how lex manipulate lana to make it work, is because he thinks that lex moral of doing anything to keep lana is good. He agrees with lex morality. Did i actually said something wrong with the intent of insult people?
  7. What i meant is not that lex was as bad as he is in the later seasons. I mean that his friendhsip with clark is proved to not be as genuine as it may seems it the first seasons. Especially how many people actually see clex as genuine and spontaneus. Some even defend lex, attacking clark as the bad friend. In reunion we discover that lex wanted to force oliver to be his friend. This kind of relationship dynamic has always been part of who lex is. Its just that i dont think its fair to consider his relationship with clark without considering this kind of thing.
  8. I didnt say that to disrespect people, i say that because this is how human mind works. We tend to appreciate character with who we share similarities, thoughts, attitude, behaviours. And we tend to dislike characters cause in real life we tend to dislike that kind of people. Same for the relationships. Mine is a logic reasoning based on actual fact. I didnt mean that to offend, what should i care about attacking someone i dont even know?
  9. I seriously dont understand what i did say wrong and if i did it,wasnt my intention. If what i type sound like im imposing this as the absolute truth, again,im sorry. This is just my opinion and wasnt my intention attack anyone.
  10. This is the only possible answer to why people sees lex as remotely good, even in the first seasons. Or either people are naive and truly believe whatever lex says. I mean i read about people who even accused clark of cheating on lana while he never cheated on lois. This alluding to the hypnotist fact. The point is,not everyone understand the dynamic of the show, the psychology of the characters and a lot of people simply decide to ignore things in order to protect the image of the character in question. Misunderstaning a charater is a common thing , but when i read so much pure BS i feel the need to say the truth. Can we agree that we disagree?
  11. My friend,i clearly explained my point. I think that what people sees and wrongly identify as chemistry is,indeed, intimacy. They are showed in more intimate moments than clark with lana. We see them sharing their lifes more than lana did with clark. This is not about chemistry,is about writing. But it can easly be confused as chemistry. I just gave my opinion about it.
  12. Another unpopular thought that probably will make me hate by all the lex-lovers. I find very fascinating how many people like lex. In the specific ,how many people TOTALLY misunderstand the character,LOL. To properly understand lex,u must see his behaviour in the first seasons with the perspective of what we learn about him in the last seasons. Lex didnt want to genuine be clark friend. He wanted what he had. He wanted his life. Thats the ONLY reason lex starts a friendship with him. He admits that. Being clarks friend and being pat of his life is the closest thing to have that. His help, his friendhsip,he didnt do the things he has done for clark becasue he loves him as a friend, he did that so that clark would see him as a friend. Thats what is wrong, thats what lionel warn him about why lana will never love him. Lex sees the world and people as a strategy game. Like that strategy game he shows clark in the bug boy ep. He sees people as means to satisfy his needs. Having a friend, having a surrogate family, have a new happy life in smallville. There are so many hints even in the first season that lex isnt truly who he claims to be. He changed when he went to smallville. But none really just change. He was pretending. Lex arguably never REALLY liked clark, and it was suggested, in fact, plainly stated that he was only ever friends with him because he wanted everything that clark had. Lana and the loving parents. Everything he did for clark, was to manipulate his way into lana's life. Maybe with time he devoleped some sorta of affection to the kents and clark, but it was twisted and not genuine. It was a selfish affection. He was envious. He protected or helped them cause he wanted his pet family to be happy. He literally buys his way in the kents family. Pa kent was right about him, but i find it lol that he eventually fell for his manipulations. Altough i already cleared the air about the lexana relationship, i have to disagree that there were hints about that. Those werent hints, like maybe the clark and lois ones. There was this creepy vibe from lex to lana. But thats it,lana never showed any interest in lex. Those are not hints. Thats the perverted obsession of an adult man over a teenage girl. This is the lexana relationship and i want to be respectfull, but i honestly think that shipping someone with lex or perhaps thinking lexana was a genuine and lovely couple is just wrong. I can understand people have their POV about that. But having a POV means consider lexana like that because u share lex's same moral ambiguity wich make u consider the way the relationship is build as something right and acceptable. Another thing is distorting the reality of the show saying is good and genuine, that came spontaneously. But then again, many lana haters loved to see her with lex simply cause she was not with clark anymore. They loved to see her get corrupted,to go bad. They enjoy the fact that lana from the sweet girl gets totally deviated. Some of them probably enjoyed watching her suffer, being miserable and sad. Its bad. Its hatred. Its disgusting. I deeply disagree that MR and KK had better chemistry than anyone else, especially than TW and KK. Its not even a matter of interpretaion or an opinion. They had chemistry, yes and no. It wasnt a romantic passionate chemistry. On the daily basis their chemistry was not even that great, just maybe in the kisses. What they had is intimacy,as a couple, because of how the relationship is written, not thanks to the actors. Whatever chemistry they had is not as great as someone describe it,even tho sure thing they do have some. But it wasnt even comparable to the award nomination worthy one of TW and KK. I had to say this since i read some pretty amazing thought about that so just wanted to share mine as well.
  13. What i mean is that after a nice conversation with ur girlfriend,u should be relaxed. The fact that after 2 sec he is angry and bossy, may hint that the lovely boyfriend is just an act. Its not natural the way lex passes from lovely to angry in matter of seconds, even tho there is nothing that really made him mad. This is not about how he treat people, evryone has his own preference. Dude, for lex lana was just a competition. He hadmitted that himself, and thats how he treat her. When she agrees to marry him his face doesnt say im happy, its more like triumphant, like i win. Lex loves lana as an object, and he proves that in the way he treat her. Crimson gives a very clear view of the clexana triangle. Aunt nell seems kind of shallow to me. She wanted lana to keep being a cheerleader even tho she wanted to detach herself from that world. She was proud of her marrying a billionare. She seems to prefer lana to be with whitney rather than clark. Doesnt seems the kents style of parenting. Lex knew lana wasnt after his money, simply because she never went after him. Was lex that went after lana. He never doubted lana in that way. Clearly that was a test,to corrupt her / bring her down at his moral level. To see how much grip he had on her. The intention were manipulatory. U cant deny that lex is indeed a manipulative person. Of course we can. If i gave u that impression dude im sorry, its that when im sure of something i tend to be over confident.
  14. Yes she does, obviously. But u gotta see the whole picture. Lex made that happen. Lex created the right situation so that lana would let him in. And that is what makes lexana wrong and a manipulation. What happen behind lana's back make the viewer understand lex real ways. And those are deceiving ways. Besides the fact that is wrong to deliberately manipulate someone into lovin him , thats why lana will never truly love lex. He doesnt do what he does because he loves her,but because he wants her to love him.
  15. No,what i mean is that once clark break up with lana,he proved to be what lex was manipulating lana to believe he was. After that all the trust she always had in clark, automatically transfers in lex because "he was right,he was the one who warned her". If lex wouldt interfier the way he did, lana would never turn to him. If lex woudlnt interfier at all, clark and lana would be good. They would be together. The point is that he does interfier because he is selfish and wants lana all for himself,he plays dirty. Using schemes to manipulate someone,is not good. Its illecit and unethical At that point lex seriously played her,she came out of a relationship of dishonesty and lex gave lana fake honesty. This is playing someone, just as lex did with kara. And the fact that in the years he proved to be reliable as friend with lana,in this situation was better than the amnesia status of kara in order to get advantage of her. Maybe u see lex as genuine, but bad. The fact is that he is not genuine,he treat lana like a business deal. The way he easly shift from lovely boyfriend to ruthless boss with his minions is a clear hint of how not relaxed and happy he truly is. He's acting. the relationship lex gave lana is an illusion, literally. He totally delude her, with lies, with travels and other rich stuff. But the truth is that there is no love, thats why the proposal pulled her back. Only reason she accept,is the baby. And we all know about it. Dude, the only concern lex had in that moment wasnt for lana, was that she could uncover his criminal business. He was protecting himself. And the way he didnt gave lana other choice is extremely manipulative. Going on with time ,this destroys lana's personality and free will. The point is not if clark could be used, its that he should NOT be used. Emotionally manipulating someone cant be seen as good or acceptable. Is wrong, a lot. And their relationship maybe in the last period was rocky but in hypnotic they were kinda good, lana said she would have waited as long as clark needs. Before reckoning their were not that messed up. They had a couple of fights. Reckoning frustrated lana and yeah she asked for a break, but eventually she stayed with clark to help him after jonny kent dies. After reckoning starts to be a little messed up,but indeed lex is starting to really interfier. In Tomb lana asks lex to help chloe at belle rive, and it was lex that told her to rely on him in Vengeance. Of course she is not forced to do it,not in the liter way,but she already has a boyfriend and lex interfier in very persuading way .He says i know clark needs u,but when u need someone to rely on im here. U just dont do that, its wrong. Its manipulative, and lana cant do anything to stop him from talking. Anyways , in Tomb when lex is at the hospital with clark and they talk about chloe, lex remarks a couple of time how lana went to him for help, and he even speak for lana. This is to put discord between them. He emphatize that its lana that said that chloe needs belle rive, kinda to throw on clarks face how he and lana are close. Even if matter of fact they are not that close yet. But still that upset clark. Lex wanted to create other little fractures in the relationship and with the hypnotist he would give the last big hit and destroy it at all. I think lex planned the eventuality that the hypnosis "spell" broke and clark would give up lana anyways out of guilt. No,clark broke up cause he didnt want to hurt lana anymore. He didnt want to tell her his secret,he was afraid she could die again. He also knew that by lying he'd hurt her. But he could have make the relationship work in other ways,u cant just abandon someone like he quitted football. People have emotions. I disagree,i think it was the stupidest thing he has ever done, and soon after that he regret he made that decision too. He took the easy way,he was running from his problems and once he saw her with lex,he understood he did a mistake. He wasnt being mature. This was a HUGE mistake, and lana is the one who pays the consequences. Lex manipualtion took hold on lana just when clark was "being mature". But he wasnt,he did regret to let lana go. Lol,that reminds me of people who abandon their pets in the middle of the highway while going on holiday because they dont know how to fit them in the trip. Clark did something like this, but its not about compatibility at all. He broke up cause in that moment it was the easiest way to deal with lana. Indeed, when he had the occasion in " Hydro" he wanted to make a move. Most important thing, doing something like this is really wrong, especially the way clark did it. U cant just walk away from someone like that, its brutal. Kents are family for lana, clark was the most important part of lana's life, he knew she would been destoyed by that. Being mature would have been sit down and end it like a mutual friendship since it wasnt working. Truth tho is that it was working, and it could still work What clark did was immature and the way he did it was selfish. Thats why he regret it. Clark accepted lex gifts too,the football games, the concert tickets ecc. The point is that lana had none to teach her to dont take candies. She has no parents, no dad no mom. Lex took advantage of that. And after the break up he took advantage of her very fragile and vulnerable state to seduce her, that seduction tho is manipulation, because of the background of the whole story. Thats why he was playing her. Her friend? Who,clark? Who just crushed her world? Or chloe, wich lana sees as clark-related and tend to dont trust either? Lex alieneted lana from the other people, she later admits that she lost everyone else. Anyways abusive relationships are not abusive from the beginning. Actually in the beginning the abusive partner seems the perfect match. Its after he seduce her, once she is trapped that the real mental abuse begins. Think of that loyalty test lex set up with lionel, does that sound normal to u? This is pure manipulation,he is corrupting her and if u dont realize that,i honestly dont know how else explain my POV . Obviuosly is not like every ep or every time there is the abuse, but its undeniable that it is abusive. From the beginning, i mean just look how it started, how it was created with machinations and manipulation. Just this should make u undertstand the kind of relationship lexana is. Lana is a victim since the beginning, even if not brutally she already was victimazed.
  16. LOL,Dude u dont need an indoctrination program. Lex is sneaky,he played her,he knew how to get closer to lana and clark behaviour helped his game. What about when he force himself in her apartment, she wanted him out,he over stayed his welcome and started with some subtle suggestion. This is what im talking about dude, this is the manipulation. After clark break up with lana, everything lex has always said to her about clark bacame true. Lex is manipualting the reality,he changed lana's thoughts, obviusly thanks to clark. He is the good guy and clark is the bad guy. As a friend lex in years proved to be reliable. Clark always went to lex as well. So she rely on him,but she was unaware that lex was the one behind the relationship sabotage, she didnt know he had plan for her. She trusted him,and obv she was wrong. Thats a bad choice yeah, but i mean clark trusted lex as well. He is able to induce that sense in people. And even tho he manipulated to gain her trust, probably trusting him is the only real choice she made. After he gained her trust,he was able to guide the other choice. She had choices but she didnt LOL,again the art of the manipulation is to make someone do what u want, making him believe he is making his own choices. U maybe never met someone like this, but i can assure u i know what im talking about. I think lana didnt really knew how she got in that relationship. I think thats why when chloe warned her she said they were just friends, she didnt realize the shift lex was giving to their friendship. She found herself from being friend with lex to be in a relationship with him. She was on the rebound and coming out a very bad relationship with clark .She was confused. Lex has always said that she couldnt trust clark. Clark made that true. But lana wouldnt have choose lex if he didnt deceive her. People like lex are pro in do this,he did that with clark too, didnt he? Clark didnt want anything to do with him in the first place, lex slowly introduce himself in clarks life and family. At that point, yeah maybe she wanted the man lex sold himself for,but its like cheating at school, lex already knew what lana wanted, she was being deceived. Like i said he did seduced her,but he actually manipulated her cause it was part of a bigger plan and because he was using specific scheme to do that. People like this exist, they just find their victim, wich lanas profile match perfectly, lonely with no family, vulnerable. They find their issues and play on those. The choices are guided by the manipulation. The no choice concept is not literal,of course she had other choice, but in fact she didnt. But its exaclty what happened, dude ep like Rage proves it. Lana wanted to do that charity thing lex negate her to do it. This isnt normal,a partner should never have this influence on the partner life. And wheter u like it or not,in the moment lex negate lana what to do,he is taking control over her. And the subconcious remember this, thats how u annihlate someone personality and free will. In whiter, lex was pressuring her to have sex,she didnt want to. Lex gave her a damn speech about clark, how much she trusted him,and that he is done paying for his mistake. That was manipulatory,A LOT. Emotional, persuasive, and pressuring. Then lana started to think about it, but the decision was already made when lex used clark as an emotive weapon, in lana's mind she compares lex with clark, and this push her to trust lex in the end. Bond like the one lex created are not easy to cut, simply cause lana didnt know about it. She was living an illusion,of course she was deluded and she was enjoying that, but its just an illusion. There is no love,no happiness. Lex can act like a lovely boyfriend,he can make her devoted and loyal, but its not real love from both of them.
  17. And i read someone saying lexana is better than clana, but with all of the respect thats not true. And not just because i personally like clark with lana, but because It may actually seems that lexana works better, but its a disfuctional relationship as well. Its even worst, cause lana doesnt actually realize how abusive the relationship is. Lana was being manipulated by lex. Its called brainwashing, and its not scifi, its not CIA thing, its a real thing. It doesnt happen in a day,its a long process that takes time. 1.Intensive, forcible indoctrination, usually political or religious, aimed at destroying a person's basic convictions and attitudes and replacing them with an alternative set of fixed beliefs. or, 2.The application of a concentrated means of persuasion, such as an advertising campaign or repeated suggestion, in order to develop a specific belief or motivation. Thats what lex does with lana, all the time he is like im the good guy,or u cant trust clark,he doesnt trust u,he is a liar,i wouldnt lie,i trust u. This is suggestion, mental manipulation and its untheic and wrong. To make it more understandable,is like lex mentally trained lana. And this is NOT good in any possible ways. In Italy its called plagio, a crime consisting in an absolute psychological, and eventually physical, domination of a person. The effect of such domination is the annihilation of the subject's freedom and self-determination and the consequent negation of her personality. This is what lex does with lana, since the beginning of season 5 he starts to manipulate her. He manipulate both clark and lana in the second half of season 5 ,he hire a hypnotist and once splitted clark and lana up he starts to seriously work on lana. He seduce lana with fake honesty and half truth,he says he trust just because he knows how to play her, but in the end he just share what somehow could benefit him. He doesnt really trust her. Like the ship to lure lana, the vaccin to appear like some sorta of humanitarian hero, and the powers wich was just a demonstration of power,he was just strutting. He didnt share the healing power he gained with the vaccin injection cause it wasnt a big deal. He offers her to stay at the mansion for as much as she needs, and as a guest. Then once she moved in he change cards on the table and starts pressing lana into having a sexual relationship, she didnt want to,she was full of doubts and didnt feel like to do it. He manipulate her to have sex, wich is extremely lol and pathethic, using clark as an emotive weapon to make lana feel stupid,to hurt and mortify her. He literally trap her in the mansion,he starts to really annihilate lana as a person. Starting with the script with lionel, to test her loyalty and instill the sense of protection and devotion to lex,to initiate her to blackmail and threat. Then there is the control over her life. Negating her to do what she wants to do,controlling who she sees, where she goes, isolating her from anyone else. The continuos speech about honesty and trust, always throwing clark in the discussion here and there to manipulate lana emotionally. The intimidating long stares. The subduing conversations. Lex made himself the most important person in lana's life,he made her dependent from him. He literally subjugate lana. In "Static" we can see from lana reaction that she doesnt cry for love, she cries cause she doesnt know what to do without him. Thats dependence. This is what lex did to lana, and i dont blame lana for being with lex,she didnt have a choice. Thats the power of manipulation, its subtle, but its powerfull and u may think ur doing what u want, that u have fee will, but indeeed u dont. Lana thought she was making her decision, but truth is it was lex pulling the strings from behind. She truly was a puppet in lex's hands, despite what she says. Manipulate someone means making him do what u want, while he believes he is making his own decision. And the only reason people may think lexana is good, its because IN THE APPEARANCE works, but the truth is that is a very abusive relationship, and i honestly think that its also depraved and disgusting. Disturbing actually... Lex is what,30? And lana is barely 18....such a loser too LOL Lana is unhappy and she wasnt even able to leave lex like chloe or clark warned her to do until she realize by herself what he was doing. Thanks to the fake pregnancy she realize how deeply lex manipulated her,and just then she was able to get out of that illusion, that "great place" she thought she was and beat him at his own game. Anyways i wouldnt wish this kind of relationship to anyone, not even to my worst enemy.
  18. I dont see clark so much noble. I used to,but watching smallville trying to cut clark perspective i realized that clark is extremly dumb. Between being good and being dumb the difference is small, but clark is definitely dumb. A lot. Clark is also a real jerk, with everyone. With chloe, with oliver, with his parents but especially with lana.He is a hero, yes, but he is even able to be a selfish coward,he rather hurt lana with his behaviour than risk getting hurt and being rejected. Because of clark being an animal with her,she ends up in an abusive relationship with lex,she gets corrupted and sweet lana is gone. All because clark was afraid to be rejected...what kind of a superhero is this? A dumb alien who doesnt even fight for his girl? He should be super smart, yet is not able to even tell a lie,is not able to support the relationship in other ways to compensate for the lack of sex. He doesnt even try to make it work,at the first problem he back off or he break up. How can someone who always choose the easy way to deal with problems, even if that means to deeply hurt someone,be one day superman? He wasnt protecting lana,he was protecting himself, and lana had to pay the consequence of clark childish and selfish behaviours. Everything bad happened to lana after season 5 is clarks fault. When in "Hidden" he decide to not tell her the truth, and to stay in the relationship,he was being selfish and he lead to what happens to lana in season 6 and 7. Clark was a monster with lana,a really horrible person. THIS IS NOT SUPERMAN,IS SUPERJERK.Especially when from the emotional unavailable cold and dumbass alien he became the lovely romantic and perfect boyfriend with lois. So what, was lana the problem? He ruined her life and he didnt even loved her like he loved lois? Sometimes this thought reach my mind, but then i realize that its worste. Its clark that truly is stupid, mostly because the writers had to make him act like a jerk to make drama, but they exagerated. Its like lana said in season 3,if he didnt want to be honest right away,if he has to be a jerk and give up at the first problems,he didnt even had to try. He cant frustrate lana like he does in season 5,and if he has to be this way,he really shouldnt even START a relationship, cause is cruel. He kept her in this "does he love me" limbo trough all season 5,and ok,he cant make love, but he could show his love for her in other ways. Then there is the brutal and animalistic break up always in season 5. And more cruel is how he treat lana in second half of season 5, he basically didnt know how to deal with her anymore,so he choose the easy and short way out. He abandoned her without even using some tact,he just washed his hand and pushed her with lex instead of trying to make the relationship work. He didnt even wait for her to recovery from the heartbreak of him cheating. He just let her go in a way that its not just cruel or sadic, its animal-like. Without thinking, without considering lana mental status,NO,like animals. He rather break up with lana and abandon her,and no matter how hard it was for clark TO DO that,it was doing it that was hard, because matter of fact that was the easiest way to deal with her. He choose the easy way, like a real animal, without thinking of the consequence. This is wrong,he cant just play with people emotion like this, its sadic. And masochist, since 2 ep later he is alone in his loft sadly watching her pic,and that makes me angry because he is not being a hero,he is not protecting lana,he is hiding. He is being A COWARD DUMBASS ALIEN and in doing that,he ruined lana too. And If lana ends up in an abusive relationship where she will get corrupted and deviated,it doesnt matter,as long as our loved dumb alien doesnt get his feelings hurt. And i know clark wanted to protect lana, but the protection is real just for reckoning, before that, and clark admitted that himself,he was just afraid of being rejected. Is this how a superhero is? He always take the easy way to deal with lana, and the consequence for her are tragic. He then kept staying in his comfort zone during season 6 while lana gets the worst mental and physical abuse instead of fight and save her from lex. Worst part is that in the meanwhile clark wasnt happy,he suffered in silence complaining about being alone yet didnt do anything to fix that situation. That is COMPLETELY stupid. I know the writers want to make drama, but they made clark look like an horrible person,a real masochist asshole. He breaks up with lana totally messing up her mind, for no real reasons marking the first change in lana, and it truly was unnecessary. Claim is to protect her but then he let her be with lex -knowing how dangerous he was yet not doing nothing real about it because he didnt want to get hurt and basically was being a coward again- that will hurt and corrupt lana. And after all that clark even tells her his secret,so why break up in the first place? LOL Its plan stupid. How can someone be that stupid, and when that someone happens to be the future superman is even more stupid. Basically clark destroyed lana's mental stability just because he was afraid of her reaction,THIS IS SELFISH. Eventually yes lana will discover that this was also clark's clumsy attempt to protect her,but that doesnt erase the pain that lana suffered, the mental damage was done. Especially the one from the relationship with lex. Not to mention the mental damage that us viewers had with lexana, that really is disturbing to watch. And then, after we see how much of a jerk he was with lana, he turns to lois and is a complete different person, and people even compare the 2 relationships. Clark treatment of lana for seven seasons is disgusting. How can a dumbass alien like him be superman one day. He wasnt able to express his feelings and to appreciate lana, wasnt able to say a believeable lie and was a hypocritical whiny jerk. He say he wanted lana to be happy and that he didnt want to hurt her,yet in their relationship doesnt even try to make her happy and not to hurt her. He auto inflict angst to himself,to lana, and to us,just because he is afraid to get hurt and be rejected. He also is a self centered narcisist, like in season 7 "Wrath". In all that mess,he still is unable to understand how hurt lana was,and the only thing he came out with is that its all his fault, wich is true yeah but instead of blaming himself,he could just focus on lana and try to be sympathethic. Not just because is lana, even if was someone else its clear that she is deeply hurt,so just give some love instead of disappointment. Funny thing is that i always thought lana treatment of clark in season 5 and 6 was justified but still wrong, now i think it was right and if she wasnt with lex,i would actually even enjoyed watching her shitting on clark. And there is a moral in clark behaviour. It perfectly match a fable of Aesop "the boy who cried the wolf." Clark in the past has always lied and used the protection thing as an excuse cause he was afraid to be rejected while he kept lying and treating lana in the worst possible ways, and in "Reckoning" the one time that he really is protecting her, lana simply doesnt believe him anymore. Same later in the season. The moral is that "This is how liars are rewarded: even if they tell the truth, no one believes them". He choose to be a liar,he choose to be dishonest and with his wrong decision and mistakes,he put people in danger and totally ruined lana, both from the show view and from our view. Im starting to deeply dislike clark, because yes he is a hero but damn he has been a villain too. I dont feel angst with the clana romance, what i feel is anger and disappointment that someone can be that stupid. Especially if that someone one day will be superman.
  19. Id like to point out that at that very point of the story clark let lana down like so many times. He even get her out and then dump her for another girl under red k.If clark would have been as reliable during time as whitney may have been,im sure she wouldnt turn on him.Besides when this happens is because lana is talked to do that.Obv the way whitney put it to lana, she believe he is right. And in hug she goes to apolagiaze to clark twice. Another thing i like to point out is that lana gets defensive about whitney, lex, jason but because they talk her to do that. They victimize themself. But with anyone of this she get defensive when they talk about clark. In visage when tina as whitney accuse of clark being not who he claim to be,with jason when he says about steroid or the stolen stone, lana gets defensive when someone try to accuse clark of something or touch the clark topic. Clark was the only one to knew about the relationship between jason and lana, and as she said to lex she didnt understand how that was possible, she couldnt believe clark could do that, but she is forced to since he was the only one that knews.
  20. Lex was acting during the whole time.So many hints he is actually faking like when in season 5 ep 16 when he tells lana he is sorry for clark and lana break up,who he just ,if u dont remember, tried to split with a hypnotist.I read that the director wanted MR to use his best actor skills when playing "good lex" with lana.It was a lie,a manipulation,a scam.Lex MANIPULATED lana to believe he was good, honest and people betray him cause they dont understand his intentions. He used so much clark to emotionally manipulate lana like anytime lana had doubt lex took out clark to mortify her.He was hiding his real side just as clark did, only difference lex lied like the dog he is,while clark wasnt able to lie like that.He was a totally different person with lana and when she was around. But not because lana made him good,LOL. Another big hints of how it was all faking, its when lex talk with oliver at the reunion, and lana is there. He is good mannered and polite with ollie, same in that ep when they are at a masked party. But then when lana is not there he treat oliver REALLY badly and even threatened him. That "progression" u talkin about, was all planned by lex, first started to divide and put discord between clark and lana after reckoning, then split them up for real, take advantage of lana, get her to move in,start sex relationship, fake baby and proposal. It was a plan. The horror/thriller tipic song that u can usually heard during lexana scenes says it all. REMEMBER LEX IS THE VILLAIN AND HE IS DEVIOUS ABOUT THAT,BUT THE VIEWERS ARE SUPPOSED TO KNOW HE IS FAKING,DONT LET LEX MANIPULATE U TOO,U KNOW WHO HE IS. IF U TRULY BELIEVE THAT ABOUT LEXANA RELATIONSHIP, I HAVE A SAD NEWS FOR U. Just a quick pshyco analis of lex profile.Obsessive and psycopath. He may rationally think to be a hero, but that is just a cover, what ever he does is just cause benefits him in the end.Like helping lana and beeing his confident for years. He didnt do that out of love,he did that TO BUY HER. Remember reckoning? When lex reproach "after all i have done for you u still chose clark".If he REALLY did all that out of love for lana,he wouldnt reproach, people who reproach may seem generous and good, but they just do that to have influence and power. They buy that. He didnt do that cause he was going to hit her.Lex always does that when talking with people,he close em in little space, stand in the way of the exit or simply cut theyr way.Its intimidation.A way to take control. Lex was supportive just to get her trust, nothing more.I mean their relationship from season 5 to 6.Lana didnt even see lex as a possible partner,he impose himself to her in a very difficult time. Lex wasnt genuine with her already, lets be real my friend.Lana didnt want to have anything to do with lex after season 4 finale. He forced him self again in her life with lies and manipulation. He used the blackship to lure lana and to have a contact with her.He forced himn self in lana apartment, and starts with manipulatory phrases like "ur not crazy,i believe u,clark doesnt have as much faith as i have in u".He then waited for lana to bring up the spaceship so he could be the white knight that when lana ask for the truth he gave her.BUT the truth is that lex was waiting for lana to bring up that since he was stalled and lana was the only one to have seen it opened. He start deceving her after she cut him out of her life. Lionel said that in season 5,lex fixated on lana already in season 4.What lionel said it wasnt something lex started to do after lionel told him.He always did that.He buys people,he tries to change what people thinks of him with big gesture, manipulations, lie. He did that with the kents, remember season 3 first ep?He buys the farm, puts the kent name on it,and then ask to be considered a member of the family. He was deceiving and manipulating lana even before lionel told him that.THATS why lionel told him that phrase.Cause lionel know his son better than anyone else, knows what he wants to do and how he wants to do it.Lionel treated lex the way he needed to.He was trying to repress lex,to make him insecure,so he wouldnt be able to express him self the way he did.Too bad ollie and his friends at excelsior didnt beat lex enough. If they properly bullied him,he would never became the villain he is. Lex pining for lana started in season 3,and he tried everything to control her life, like getting jason fired,or give him a jab to split em up.He wanted to make his move on lana in paris in season 3,but then there was jason. He tried to split them up,but then there was clark, and he successfully split them up in season 5 and have "his chance".He was waiting, clearly, for lana to grew up in age.He never had a lightswitch,"oh maybe there is a real possibility "ecc ecc.HE WAS WAITING FOR THE RIGHT MOMENT TO MAKE HIS MOVE,HE ALWAYS CONSIDERED REAL THE POSSIBILITY TO BE WITH LANA.EVERYTIME HE SAYS LANA DESERVES THE BEST.HE IS IMPLYING HE IS THE BEST.THAT STARTED IN SEASON 3. Lana may have seen lex as reliable and good friend, but thats it.Friend-zoned.She never considered him as a partner cause of his past with womans and other stuff. In season 5 she actually didnt even trust lex anymore...Then with all the kinds of manipulation he convince her he is "changed" and she defend him with victor stone saying he cant have anything to do with victor experiment...and later we find out lex is the one behind that experiment. The story of lexana relationship: a scam,a deceving,a big manipulation. He didnt engineer everything to go perfect, but TO HAVE HER by his side.He didnt care if she was deeply unhappy or she doesnt love him,as much as she stand near to him.The phrase "if i ever lose u i dont know what i would be capable of",is a implied threat. In phantom, when lana says to lex they need to talk, lex wanted her to wait till he got back home.He thought to somehow convince her to stay,to manipulate her.He wasnt especting that lana would actually have the guts to leave him.Thats why he cloned her,he knew some dayhe would need to replace her. I could read and answer it all,but it would be pretty much useless.Lex didnt love lana,if he REALLY loved her he wouldnt put her in so much pain. For lex lana was a trophy, just as kal said after crushing the engagement party.I think in lex mind lana was all clark life represented and the only thing he could really steal from him.He loved her with words, but not with facts. He treated her like an object, and thats the way he love lana.He didnt loved lana like a person, but like a "thing" like someone could love his car...he protected her not for her sake, but for him to be able to have her by his side.Thats why lana told him ur not capable of love.Cause he is indeed not capable of really love someone,he treat and love people like object.Lex treated lana in the same exact way lionel treat him.He claims he loves her, just as lionel claims he loves lex.And then put her in pain, with the hypnotis, the WHOLE pregnancy, cause lana was kinda depressed already when she discovers to be pregnant, then she loses the baby.Just like lionel said he loves him,and then treat him like shit or frying his brain. But lionel, with all the rights, hate lex.And i agree with him,if lex was my son i would have beated the hell out of his face with slaps.Only way to deal with losers like that.
  21. Look what i found...some deleted scenes explain so much that i dont understand why they cut em.Kara didnt listen to chloe and lana, she didnt trust them. She trusted jimmy and lex,and its because jimmy opens her eyes that kara starts to see lex real face.Thats why she was willing to listen to chloe and lana.If jimmy wouldnt talk to her she wouldnt trust them cause she would still be enchanted by lex.
  22. Im not going to deny that, but r just missing one BIG point...chloe knew clark secret from years, she was estabilished to be his sidekick, but lana could do that as well when its needed.Plus Lana did sacrifice even when she didnt knew anything about clark.Lana was the one that sees the hero in clark before anyone else.Chloe in the first 2 season treat clark pretty bad for jealousy, lana supports him.Shes the first to notice that "there is more than meets the eyes about clark kent".She saw that he was "honest, people likes him and the innate sense of justice in his eyes" .Of course after chloe discover clark secret she became the sidekick, but pete was the sidekick too.Chloe just had more time to help clark, but lana for what she could helped him more than anyone.Really a lot.Lana is the one that searched in all the pawn shops of metropolis for johnathan watch. She did those things for clark, the farmboy, not the super powered alien.Everyone is able to believe in a super powered alien.Everyone can believe in superman, but how much can actually believe in clark kent?Chloe believed in superman, lana believed in clark.Im not saying chloe didnt help him,she did and a lot and she belived in him,but just when she knew the truth. There is the big difference between chloe and lana. Clark developed new powers for lana,he pushed himself in order to save her.At the start of the show he is 14,its pretty normal that when u are 20 u still dont know what to do in ur life. But at season 8 he is like 22 and decide to change life. But as ur loved chloe stated,it wasnt lana leaving that pushed him,it was clark that grew up.And what u say,it wasnt lana's fault,it was clark that wanted to hold back a life doesnt exist anymore. And those emotions are what makes clark human, when he s not with lana he gave up his human side, like after the wedding, and everytime lana is gone,he focus on his hero duty, but he do it in a maniacal/ossessive way,not having lana reminds him he is not human. But is his human side to make clark the hero we know, remember that. Lana decide that, but was clark that hold himself all alone.Lana could have been in the hero life too like in those season 8 ep,even befoere the suit she stays at the isis office to do the research usually chloe does. Its just clark that wanted to live a normal life.Lana is the first one that push clark to show him self to the world,in season 7.Chloe never thought about that,is lana that says about warrior angel fans "and what if they would look at you?" She also says she want to be with him,but that when the world will need him she doesnt want to hold him back. Its clark that tries to live a life isnt his. LOL WHAT? In wich episode should this happen?Lana is the FIRST that notice something special about clark, after the tornado in season 2.NONE eccept his parents even said something like that, maybe lex but for curiosity not for support.Lana was the one that told him he couldnt hide in the barn forever, thats an encouragement too.She was the one that pushed him to open up with somebody even if not with her,she was the one that told him he couldnt press all the emotions. If clark opened up with chloe when she became a secret keeper,it was because lana pushed him to do it. She pointed that, but was retorical, clark already knew he just had to save evryone. AND OH MY SUPER LOL... Lana encouraged him to show him self to people in season 7 ep 5,when he didnt start his hero path yet, when she knew his secret from a few months. ONE YEAR before chloe said that, and to pint that again WHEN HE DIDNT START TO BE A HERO YET.Meaning lana encouraged the farmboy to became a hero and to show himself to people and give them hope, chloe encouraged the already hero good samaritan of metropolis to give some proof of his existence. There is BIG difference.Very big.So big im surpised we are even arguing about it.There is no comparison U know what s more funny about our argumentation? That u have to use hate and say bad things a discredit lana to prove ur point. But that just prove mine.I do not hate chloe, indeed i dont NEED to say bad things about her,i see her for the things she has done. But remove lana and u dont have anything. No clark kent,no blur,no superman. And yes, even if u remove chloe, but saying lana didnt made any differnce in clark hero life is just ridiculous and very VERY partial. Im impartial indeed i admit chloe has her own big part cause she was involved in his hero life from years before lana, but lana has a bigger part for sure.Lana is clark engine,is what make him want to do something, and when shes gone,is LOSING lana that set clark in motion not the fact that she was holding him back, take out lana and he wouldnt do anything.Lana wasnt involved in his hero life but she was the one that actually shaped him,he became a hero saving lana and thanks to lana. And yeah chloe was there, she helped him in the process, but so did pete and so did his parents. In the first season is pretty clear, that he had chloe for years in his life, but just when he had lana he starts to push himself. Please lets just be real at least.Im surely not saying tho that he would be the same hero without chloe, cause that would be damn false, but even saying without lana would be the same hero is very false.Im objective, the only one u could actually take out and still have superman is lois. But BOTH chloe and lana are indispensable. And u seeing it just from chloe pov,i see it from both lana's and chloes pov.Chloe is more involved in clark life, just as was pete when he was the secret keeper, and thats all.If lana would have been involved in his life, wich was everything she wanted, she would have been his side kick as well. She would have the occasion to do those things, and im more than sure she would have done it. Lana did that too when she faked her death to frame lex,he gave up her life so he wouldnt hurt anyone else. After of course marrying lex to protect clark.So...even? lol I ll say again it was clark that was holding him self back,he could be with lana and be a hero as well.He could go to the daily planet and patrol in the meanwhile, doing all this while living at the farm with lana.It was clark that wanted to live HIS PARENTS LIFE,and he convinced himself that was the only way to be with someone,he see either be a hero alone or being "normal" with lana.He was still young, when he grow up he realize that both that kind of life isnt what he wants, and that anyways even if he save the world, the world doesnt have to came first,he could still have a private life.Lana decide to go cause she realize that CLARK HOLDS BACK on her in a life that its not what he is destined for.She knew that, and she questioned clark many time, but he stated that he wanted to stay at the farm with her.In the moment she realize that being with her hold back clark, she goes.Thats a pretty damn sacrifice, and thats pushing him as well.As chloe will never be able to do. Nothing to take from chloe,i said more times she was amazing, and i really mean that, but just after she discovers clark secret. And,for me,that says it all.Lana always pushed clark even when she didnt knew about his secret, chloe just after she discovers that. And even when lana knew clark secret, she pushes him more than chloe, wich SUPPORT HIM. Cause she is daily involved from years in that life.
  23. I have a dictionary too, thanks. Im not talking about the definition my friend,im talking about the practice. Make sure to at least understand what i say before answer back. The restrictions, the sincerity ,the honesty is what difference seduction and manipulation. How many other time i have to say that? The mistery of subconscious... Of course,of course...maybe i just have a more critic eye. I did my research, there is none else that think thats a retcon, cause its so clear that lex planned it.I ll say it again, someone like lex,who likes to controll to be sure to get what he wants...the confidence he says to clark he knows the answer, conferm what the confidence in waiting for weeks hints. He is so sure that it make people question if someone like him did actually made possible all by himself to be that sure.I had suspicious about the pregnancy since lex said to clark he was sure lana was gonna say yes.Remember too that lex is a good actor,he faked with lana for months, and i dont know what u saw,but that speculation about the clone is just higly improbable. Body language, ever heard of that? Is a very important factor in the acting,is what make u really believe a scene is real.Is what make u understand scenes where there are no lines. Is what differentiate reading a line and acting.Writers give specific details about the body language in the script, and if they do so is because they want to show us something.Remember writers aint stupid,if there is something unusual is because they want it to be like that. But obviously not everyone can notice things they dont pay attention to. I could actually answer seriously about this, but i feel its really useless spend time talking about something doesnt exist on the show. Just one thing about the lana-clone: He was scared of lana leaving him,he had that paranoia. He just made sure to still have her.He has one,and i let u figure what he wanted that for.But again lex is a pathethic loser. He just happens to be rich, nothing more. What i meant is that even if he has that good side,he never listen to him,so its like it didnt exist because he always consciously choose to dont listen to that side, that probably make him even more evil from my pov. Kal,but from lex pov is clark, crashing the party happens 10 ep after lex kick him out.Yeah maybe clark often went to lex to accuse him of something, but most of the time he was right. What i mean tho is that doesnt seem to bother lex during season 5,but then after lana moved in at the mansion,it does.Reed between the lines.A very little is left to chance during the writing, maybe there are plots-hole and bad writing, but that is always about the storyline ,how the story goes trough the seasons. Those kind of details are made on purpose for the single ep,and are there to be notice. Yeah lana tells lex that, but when he talk in the barn with clark, that is lex,its not zod yet.And id like to point that lex dont remember any of this,so cant say he kick clark out for that. What happened in the barn is lex that overwhelmed by his new power takes the guts to face clark, and he was going to kill him.HE ATTACKED FIRST,when clark was trying to help,he was perfectly aware that clark wouldnt have killed him and wouldnt attack neither. Exactly, clark wasnt that hero neither, but already had the heroism inside and he showed it.Same for lex he had the villan inside, and he showed it.He is a different person from how he was at metropolis, many people said that.He was trying to be someone he was not,to impress clark, the kents, lana.I dont say he was already that evil from the beginning,im saying that thou it already was a bad guy,he was like season 5-6-7 lionel, antihero. But the fact that he then became evil, makes us think that was just an act.Probably cause of clark, indeed in the timeline clark never landed to earth, lex is already president and devoted to his dark side since a very very long time, cause he didnt get clarks influence. None has made as many sacrifice, none has suffered or forgive as much as lana.NONE.And eventually she actually became a real hero, but she was already to me.There wouldnt be any superman or neither the blur without lana. She made clark that man, teaching him meaning of love,to fight for what he wants, pushing him to improve himself, believing in him since they were 14. Oh man seems we get hate even on Christmas this year LOL. I dont believe that, she never wanted to know stuff. She wanted clark to open up,she wanted to be part of the life of the man she loved.Isnt that normal in a relationship? If u try to make out with ur boyfriend, and he just avoid and use lame excuses, wouldnt u at that point want to know whats going on?When would she wasnt return the honesty? When after a traumatic relationship she gets deviated and obsessed about lex?U know for that some people need therapy? This is sirious, human mind is fragile and lex totally crashed lana's. She trusted a man, thinking he was a good man, that he was honest and that he loved her,she turn against people that tried to warn her about him. Then she finds that all was a big lie, everything people said was true, she "gave herself" to the villain, she spent months in pain, sadness and TERROR.Can u just imagine how emotionally and psychologically destructive could be when she realized about the fake pregnancy? If u are a girl,i think u cant understand what it would means, she felt really,REALLY,violated. That could change the more strong woman in the world.Eventually tho she regain her mental balance. About the ending up with more secrets,i guess u refer to the prometeus skin. She knew clark would never ever go after that,it would more and likely wait to lex with the suit full of K to knock his door. She kept that a secret even cause he would have tried to stop her yeah, but wasnt a bad move, was to protect clark, basically from himself.Think about how the only 2 people that REALLY take lex problem seriously are oliver and lana. They really seen lex face.Lana knew why lex wanted the suit,to face clark, and we later know that it was actually created to match clark. If lana wouldnt steal it,lex would had put it on.She couldnt even destroy it,cause she didnt knew where it was,the lab was set in her place. She could trick dr groll to set the lab and bring the skin and then destroy it,but at that very point would be a waste.Dr groll was ready to put it on lana, why destroy it?So even if she said that to clark either would have been a waste or clark stopping her from even doing something. I think this scene really says a lot. Merry Christmas my friend.
  24. Well let me just say my last words about it: Seduction comes from the latin sedŭcere, formed by se- ("apart, away") and ducere ( "lead, draw") and means "to lead forth, attracting to himself". Seduction usually means express our self to attract a person of opposite sex. Our self tho, a real seducer doesnt fake to be someone else, usually people good in seduction are confident and self conscious, and they express what they really are.Thats what attract the opposite sex. First rule of seduction is to be our self and not deceive faking. If u fake then it became manipulation. Manipulate means to use influence aimed to change the perception and behavior of others using schemes and devious and deceptive methods.Manipulate means change the reality to bring someone to believe what u say o what u want. Lex lay in manipulation category, and much earlier the fake pregnanacy. If u cant see that i cant obviously force u to open ur eyes to it.But its there.Trust me. U sure? Cause later on happens something like that and chloe points out that maybe lana didnt leave all the people behind, but maybe she was forced to.Thats actually one thing i like about chloe, always gets the thing right and she says that clearly. Im not talking in that way,im a man and i honestly cant judge if another man is sexy,i think thats even something objective for girls. What i mean is the actually appareance,MR especially from season 6 is ugly:his skin sucks, his face has a strange and too round shape, his mouth seems the dehydrated ass hole of a dog,he has wrinkles and he has the alcholic belly.Thats does not look good,he actually makes him more pathethic and loser(as lex).Like a man i objectivly say he is damn ugly and in a disturbing way, when hes on screen i feel like someone is punching me in the eyes,TW looks far way better he is in shape, have nice clear skin, nice hair.I actually laughed pretty badly anytime lana says something like "i want to see his face again" or "the most handsome groom" talking about lex. If people found themself attracted to the bald, pathethic and evil guy who happens to be rich...good for them. But i have some pretty strong value and maybe thats why i despise so much lex. Genuine reaction?Lol what? His face was more like "oh right, the baby",but id more think of that as unreadable,u cant really guess what hes thinking but is clear not "wildy happy",not when none can see him. He has that reaction with lana later.Anyways im sure it was not fake plot,im sure it was programmed to be like that, even the way lex propose right after discovering the pregnanacy?Seems like he was waiting for her to tell him.His calm waiting for lana response? The way he tells clark he is sure of lana positive answer? His face when lana say yes? Those are all signs of his over confidence,he was so sure cause he actually programmed it.When lana says yes, he is not happy,is like "it worked" ,they embrace and he doesnt even close eyes, thats the thing u have to carefully watch at. And all this much earlier that the first hints about this fake pregnancy were gave to us.Oh my LOL thats a really positive and optimistic speculation right there,I think u want to see lex better than he actually is....The whole pregnancy plot is totally in line with the lex character,is something he would totally do looking at his past behaviour to get lana.He wouldnt need the clone thing to save lana too, since in this reality unlike lexmas he has the money and the power. The clone was shown just in the ep 21,we have the first hinst of lana unusal pregnancy in ep 13,and project ares came out just in ep 19.How do u explain that?Remeber lex never do anything unless he's sure to suceed, either cause he planned the moves to do or cause he can physically over power his victim...and so he did with the proposal. He is calculating and he is evil, pure evil.Just that. There is no good in him,it never has been, cause all his choices were lead by selfish reasons,by his evil side, the good one was so submitted it didnt exist.Gaining trust or influence is a selfish reason too.But as u said we probably wont come to an agreement,i cant open ur eyes unless u want to. Im sorry i must have expressed my self wrong, what i meant is that when he is with lana he is nicer. Not with lana tho, with other people he is a different person with her around,to keep the mask of the good misunedrstood man... like in Reunion,he keep the calm and he is polite with his "old friends".Even with oliver, when they met at the costume party,he make fun of lex but he polite exuceses him self. Then when lana is not with him,he show his real face, his moods totally change,he threaten oliver and he punch him cause he blamed him for what did to duncan. With dr groll talking about the black box,he is nice and calm...but we know that with his employees or anyone working for him he actually is rude, cold and aggressive. And about clark, lex admits he kept that friendship for some sort of envy, and that was an act too especially in season 5,he kept indeed to be nice with clark till he steal lana from him. After lex managed to steal lana,he totally change to clark(even tho he says to lana he cares about him),he say hes not welcome at his the mansion anymore, and he treat him really bad.He clearly made the friend with clark to keep lana trusting him, since if he treated clark as bad as he do in season 6,lana would cut their friendship and he would lose her.Lex says in season 5 that he want to find some common ground ,after he started a relationship with lana, but its more and likely that he wanted to do what he admits he want clark at his wedding for:to show him what he "lost".Lex,over confident thanks to the kryptonian ability, express his real inner self in the season 5 finale,in the barn.Thats who lex really is,an envious traitor who has the guts to attack clark just when he s sure to win since he now has power. He was like that even in season one, when he look at the kents, when he is dishonest on things that really matters like in nicodemus.Open ur mind my friend, open it and u will see things clearly. Oh right...lana,the real villain of the story...thats how u described her, even tho she actually is the real HERO of the story. She wasnt interseted in those things, like she says in the scene above, honesty.Thats all.Thast why she had the little interset in him, cause he was good and honest and trusted her.None of that really matters to lana, but onbviously if she is with a rich man she live like a rich woman... she later realize of the power and wants to use it for GOOD.Own ersonal minions to theraten?Like who?Dr groll? We know that the whole thing was planned by lex and he gave a scripit to lionel to test lana,to initiate her to those "luthor like" behaviour. To see how loyal and how far she could go.With of her own personal minions ,she was kind, even with the one later she realize was her stalker, she smiles, she is sweet and polite.
  25. But love is a reason as well, he manipulated her to love him, he didnt seduced her to love him. There is a little but substantial difference.Lex wasnt really in love with lana,he was obsessed with her probably due to his obsession with clark and his life.On lex admition he always wanted all clark had,and lana was the only thing he could actually steal from clark. As lana said,he is not able to love...if he really was in love with lana would have not put her in through so much pain.Like clark did,in order to prevent her to be hurt he let her go.Thats what u do if u really love someone, lex behaviour prove that he wasnt really in love with her but just wanted her, physically by his side. One of the reasons i deeply hate lex, besides michael rosenbaum monstrous and disturbing face,is cause he ruined lana. She was the best character sweet honest and nice, then while she was with lex became a snoob bitch with bad attitude even towards friends, due to lex alienations. After lex ,she became dishonest manipulative and cold.Luckly going on with season 7 and in season 8 she regain her inner strengh and pureness. But still i always get cancer watching late season 5 and most of season 6.When they kiss i swear i almost throw up.Disgusting. I like season 6 but its one of the hardest to watch for me, not just cause lana is with lex,but for what he does to her,he deviate her, even before the pregnancy,he changed her and i dislike that kind of lana. At least tho thanks to this relationship none can say lana is shallow,i mean if she was shallow why would she stay with lex?He sure isnt good looking...he actually is bad looking.Extremly ugly.I wonder indeed beside the fact she didnt realize what shit man he was,how could she anyways stay with someone that horrific.Ok lana doesnt thinkg about the appareance, but a little bit everyone cares, she is just too beautiful for him, even if he was the best man on the world.Im sorry if i emphatize this, but i REALLY cant stand MR face, especially since season 5. He was actually pretending to be someone else. What lana sees of lex,is not a side of him,is a facade. Is the mask of the perfect man, cause he knew what lana wants. But already when she moves in with him,he test her loyalty and then he stop to be honest with her, cause he now have total controll over her life and know she trust him.Lana even said once she felt she need an excuse to go talk with chloe. This is not random, the writers want the most carefull viewers notice the first sign of lex influence and controll. Those natural parts of him? Like he was natural talking about the baby? He was not natural, around lana he had a totally different personality that he had with others, and he has that JUST with lana. Most of the time she kinda didnt like lex,but then she remember how "honest" he was with her.Episode static of season 6,she doesnt seems to like that life style and is clearly unhappy and doubtfull, dont seems to like that at all but then lex is kidnapped and she feel the dependence and remember how honest he has been with her and why she loves him (LOL).When she find out to be pregnant, she was miserable at the dinner with lex,she obviously didnt like that.Neither in the 3d episode she seems to like lex life style, neither in the second episode she seems to like the security cameras and so how lex lives. Its more and likely she is forced to accept it,but she complain about it.The only thing she "loved" about lex was his honesty with her.And we all know the truth about that, so ... Just think at clark,he is "clark like" with everyone,he is always good and honest even with people he doesnt know.Lex treats all the people badly and with lana is a total different person as with them, but we see some time he slips and she has glimse of his TRUE(true, not hidden cause what lana sees remember is not a side of lex,is an act,a script) nature. He is not the good mannered charming guy lana thinks he is.He fakes that,is not a part of him. Just look at this deleted scene,it explains a lot.Lex says that he helped for chloe, not for lana.We know thats a lie, cause when lana as a vampire ( lol ) bites chloe, when clark ask help, lex doesnt show not even a little concern for chloe, and was going to play dumb and avoid clark questions. He then decide to help when clark tell him lana is infected too.He even says he s not the villain, but at that very point he already is.He tortured AC,experimented on Victor stone,he was spreading seeds of discord between lana and clark.MANIPULATION,is a thing dude i dont talk cause i like to,i study psychology and i can assure u lana has been fooled, lex totally manipulated her, thats why only thing i blame her is to be naive, but its more cause she is good and honest and lex is so bastard he get advantage of that and clark secrecy. The more i watch it the more details i get of how lex brainwahsed lana. Like that dude said in that episode of season 6 when lana is followed by the photographer, lex infected lana with his behaviour and ruined her. I have honeslty been very happy that MR left in season 8,and that finally lex die.I hate that kind of people. Extreme prove of lex manipulation:episode hydro. In the morning lex takes breakfast to lana,as a act of kindness, and gently read her the newspaper, but its in reality to manipulate her.He did indeed read the newspaper emphatizing clark and that she is on hold,to make her feel guilty.Guilty feelings is the easiset way to manipulate someone, when they feel sorry like lana do they are instantly submitted.Lex is evil, pure cancer.Thats how their relationship works, lana has doubt and lex manipulate her out of those doubt, everytime.Thats not seduction and sure its not right, its pure manipulation. I really like tho how clark for once has the guts to make feel lex pathethic as he is marking the fact that lana is holding so much. At the end of the episode lana was clearly not going to say yes to lex,but after another manipulative speech she give up...the story of their false relationship. Its not fair clark had to give up lana, wich costed the life of his father, and then lex enjoys it.Every moment spent with lex and that "yes ill marry u" are stolen.Season 6 make me give up to my dark side and costantly hope someone kills lex,or let him die badly or somehow he gets the heel out of smallville. In cyborg lana defend lex with victor saying he has done bad things in the past but he is changed now, then we later know he is literally the man behind victor experiment.Lex played lana, convinced her he was good just wanted to help but people dont understand him and clark betrayed him,and then he convince lana clark betrayed her too and get closer. To point that lana is unaware of lex involvement with victor, with ac,with the time the meteor freak kept in hostage clark parents and lana.Clark dont tell her this thing.
