Man... he didn't get a ton of screen time, but I really like his Dad. Up and moved to Houston when Mom failed him, stayed with him and is getting a tattoo with him. Good stuff.

On track to destroy that 300lb weight loss number. This kid is a breath of fresh air for the show.

Looks like next week is "back on track," so to speak.

Well on his way to the 300lb+ lost in the 12 months! Dude is down almost 200lbs on pure motivation.

Rough around the edges, but Dad seems to have a good heart. Glad he'll be with Justin, and it seems like at a minimum, he won't be sabotaging/enabling.

Maybe I'm just jaded by this show, but I was applauding that move. Name one other time that a participant mentioned needing something quick and easy and didN'T blow their diet that day.

This guy is going to slay his goals. I'm calling it now: 300lb loss over the 12 months.

Wow. Next week will be a doozie.

I realize he's clearly a stoic man, and everyone's different... but I think I told my kids I love them more times just today than he has her entire life. I'll never understand that approach to parenting. I'm glad he at least responded when she cried and told him she loved him.

Eh, I think she's earned a little bit of a hall pass. She dropped 500 pounds, hasn't raced back to even 300 lbs over 11 years, had 3 kids and a divorce along the way. I hope she loses weight, but I don't blame Dr. Now for giving her a little slack right now.
