Aaauuuugghh !!!! I CANNOT STAND Sandy!! Since Bravo hasn't a clue and Andy lurves  her she will not be going away so this viewer will be.

Andy is the worst judge of character. I'm feeling a bit irrational right now so I'm going to blame him for everything that's wrong with Bravo and the people they hire. You can't tell me his fingerprints aren't all over the culture of that place. It's interesting that they filmed Pete creeping out Bugsy, talking down to Malia and patronising her with his 'sweetheart' crap and needing to get reamed by Sandy twice but they still kept him around until the end of the season. Like they didn't fire Ashton after he raged out on Below Deck even though production was there and had it on film. Misogyny is all good until one of your cast posts a revolting image of a black woman in bondage and doubles down. It was nice barely seeing him this episode, though. And Kiko must be protected at all costs. Back off, Yawn!

This is not a slam at you Pearson80, but I'm tired of his mother's death being used to excuse/explain his behavior. Yes, having your mother die is a terrible thing, I know because my mother died too, but I don't run around telling people I'm a genius

I agree. We've all experienced loss. Nobody gets a perfect death where there is no guilt or regret for things you didn't do. Yes, his mum's death was preventable in the sense that she didn't NEED lipo or whatever it was and I'm sure that is a heavy burden. But we all have them and we don't have the opportunities or the money to get help that he does. I think my give a damn is busted because of his other behaviour that we aren't allowed to talk about here. You have kids and people who count on you? Take your damn meds.

Kim, Kris & Co. really stepped into it when they entered into Kim's marriage/business arrangement with unstable Kanye. He's far more disturbed than they thought and they can't control him.

What do you think would happen if Kim left him? I blame Kanye for her and her vile family gaining legitimacy- do you think she'd lose it if she left? Keeping Met ball invitations would definitely be a reason for her to ride it out. Kanye is just the worst. I have a lot of sympathy for mentally ill people but there comes a point when you need to take responsibility for yourself and take your fucking medication. It's not as if his creative output while manic is any good. I've seen his fashion line. I'm concerned about this behaviour affecting his family. Well, his kids. I don't give a crap about it affecting the Klan.

Someone needs to get him help, not have him tour the country, this is scary.

I think it's one of those things that is really hard to do if they aren't physically a danger to themselves. A friend of mine is bipolar and I remember the first time I saw her have an episode. We took her to emergency. We called the cops and they came round. We kept saying to anyone who would listen that she wasn't like this and this wasn't normal behaviour for her and all we heard was 'until she hurts herself or someone else'.... It was infuriating. Kanye seems to be in that stage- clearly losing it but not violent. And let's face it, Kim probably got distracted by her reflection and forgot she even has a husband.

I don't condone what Mario did but being married to Ramona for as long as they were together could not have been easy.  I never bought into her romantic scenes with him and the renewal of the vows was a death knell

Mario is skeevy but I have some sympathy for him in regards to being married to Ramona. That would have been 17/ 20/25 or 30 years (depending on her recall) of being verbally bludgeoned. I find it hard to believe she would have spared her husband her habit of taking the nastiest low blow in a fight. She STILL brings up that he felt inferior about her financial success whenever she mentions him which makes me think she threw that at him a lot when they were married. He was so determined to humiliate her when he left. I feel like that was his 'fuck you' after years of that vicious tongue.

  6. I don't really like Kyle either. It just wasn't accurate to say she was stache twirling about Villa Blanca and its demise because she wasn't (I know you didn't make the original comment). Now if it had been Rinna....

Back on topic- I think Villa Blanca was destined to end regardless of Covid. Hasn't she been trying to sell it ever since that sexual harassment suit she lost? I don't know anything about West Hollywood real estate but I always got the impression it was a money pit. She barely ever mentions it on VPR or RHOBH and the reviews are fairly terrible. I think she was happy a pandemic came along to help her save face about shutting down a pretty severe albatross around her neck.

Kyle Richards is in the news gloating over the announcement that Villa Blanca has closed permanently.

She didnt gloat. She gave a two sentence answer to a question Andy asked, simply saying that so many restaurants have been hit in Hollywood that it didn't surprise her.

  8. I really liked this episode. I thought the dinner party, whether or not it was staged, was one of the best. And I was totally fine with Dorinda going after Ramona. This means I have no principles on bullying because I would have been furious if she was attacking Tinsley. But Ramona being publically humiliated after all the crap she's pulled and unforgivable things she's said? Bring. It. On. I also have no issues with footage of Sonja stuffing her face. New York is the first Housewives show I watched and I have such a soft spot for it. Even if it's garbage I'll still watch and think it was good on rewatch. But I think they need to do a season 4 type house cleaning.

Kristen and her new boyfriend were there (I guess you can break up a friendship for awhile but when the racist accusations hit the fan, birds of a feather and all that). Jax is greasy and driving his golf cart (Brittany is still in Kentucky). Stassi is holding her gas bubble pregnant stomach and dressing in flowy tops to make herself look more pregnant than she is. And the real kicker? It's Tom and Katie's house that they were going to. Y'all, the paparazzi are not hanging outside of Tom and Katie's house in Valley Village by chance. And Stassi, on her now defunct podcast, even made fun of reality stars getting papped (I believe it was Scheana she was making fun of at the time) because she said that they don't just appear, you have to call them and let them know where you'll be so that they show up and Stassi was all "Ugh, why would you do that? That's so lame."

Guess it's only lame until you lose your job and need to scrounge up a few bucks for ranch and diapers.

That fetus is working harder than her father has in years.

I'm not saying I want Stassi exiled for the rest of her life but a period of self examination would have been nice. Instead we got a pregnancy announcement drop within 2 days of the shit hitting the fan and now she and Beau are business as usual. The one good thing is that I don't think US Weekly pays much. But it indicates to me that she thinks this will blow over with enough puff pieces and she can restart her empire by the time she gives birth.

I'm not saying I'll stop watching VPR but this is what I require going forward

    1) I want Jax and his wife gone

    2) I want the British wamker fired, tarred and feathered and his laptop driven over by a truck

    3) I want Schwartz called out for his dog crap personality

    4) I want the male staff members to shudder every time Lisa tries to wrangle a "isn't she the hottest woman I've ever seen" comment out of them and to look at her with thinly veiled contempt at her desperation.

These are my demands. Ignore them at your peril, Bravo!

At dinner table, "How did you go to being the Number One Band in the World" ???

I have no idea about America but they were definitely popular in Australia. They were one of those bands that got a lot of airplay whilst being recognised as crap by anyone who had taste. Hannah's comment about him calming down about his place in history was spot on.

I’m a dork - last night when she was talking about the book I thought it sounded cool, so I rewound it and paused so I can get the name of the author and order it.

Ha! The first thing I thought of when she read that was 'what idiot wrote that blurb?' I mean, it's technically correct but it's so much more than that. You'll love it.

He’s 27 that hasn’t been acceptable for most of his life. Based on his IG he is a total douche.

I've been trying to work out who he reminded me of and during his Lara grief tonight it came to me- Jason Isaacs. A poor man's, bargain basement version of Jason Isaacs.

I'm not loving the deck crew. It seems like the lesson production learned from the toxic, misogynistic douche  bro season of Below Deck was to....hire a new cast of the same thing. Great work, Bravo.

On the plus side I appreciated Jess getting a plug in for the best book I have ever read, 'The Secret History'. Buy it and read it. It's phenomenal.

Or, she’s not really pregnant and the crisis PR team created a miscarriage scenario to play out over the coming months.

And after the miscarriage she and Beau can adopt an African-American baby. Thus turning a horrible negative into a positive, opening her heart to the realities of racial bias through her adorable new baby and maybe healing America and its racial fault lines  just a little bit.

I'd be less suss if she didn't make an announcement and just emerged a few months out of quarantine with a bump. This just looks pathetic and craven. Which she is.

Yeah, the same one Courtney Love uses. That's, um, not exactly a ringing endorsement (although I do love me some messy Courtney and some not-messy Courtney). Their client list looks like a list of Who Fucked Up in Hollywood... and Shirley Jackson for some reason.

I also love all forms of Courtney. She's incredibly talented, bat crap crazy and fearless. You have to have a spine of steel to cope with the vitriol that has been thrown her way and still survive. She's like Yoko Ono except Yoko's music is truly terrible. Neither of them deserve the racism and misogyny thrown their way.

Back on topic, I am also annoyed at Jax still having a job. And I agree with @Victim Noises that the worst people in this are Bravo executives. There is a serious culture problem at Bravo and Andy "I have no say anymore guys, I just host the reunions" Cohen is responsible for a lot of it. The very fact that if they were to clean house properly they'd lose at least 4 shows completely and a good 10 personalities speaks to how bad it is. I'm part of it because I watch this crap but I can still want to most egregious behaviour to be punished. I have no idea how they think they can fire the girls but keep Jax.

There are many many millions of people who are not represented by the loudest voices of cancel culture.

That is why Fox ratings are double that of CNN or MSNBC.

    Oh, please.

I saw that Stassi and Kristen have hired a crisis PR team. That's not my area but wouldn't it be best to just lie low for a while and do nothing? Anything they say will be attacked and no future sponsors or employers are going to touch them until the heat dies down. I'd have though the best crisis PR advice would be 'shut up and stay out of sight'.

She’ll do her racism apology tour and end up on Below Deck or maybe Southern Charm - they don’t seem to have a problem with racists and rapists.

I think she's going to end up on Fox as a frequent guest of Hannity and Judge Jeannie a la Tomi Lahren.. She's blonde, pretty, fairly quick on her feet and will now have a hard on for cancel culture, political correctness and reverse racism, which as we all know is the real racism. That's all you need  and that bloated turd would love that narrative. And Stassi can embrace her new career as Bigot Barbie v2.

Haha here we're all thinking Beau will dump her; he'd better watch his back 😄

I think at the moment he probably has supportive intentions. I don't know how long that will last with Stassi ranting and being all Dark Passengery. He'll definitely be earning his squatters rights in the next few months.

The crazy thing is that all of this could have been avoided if they actually went after Faith for her real crime. She fucked Jax with the 90 year old immobile woman she was taking care of in the room. That is disgusting, elder abuse and Faith should have lost her job. Not to mention the family of the woman should have reamed her. If anyone pulled that on my grandparents and I found out about it? God help them. I'd have been OK with them pointing that out to Faith's employer. Instead they took a ridiculous, racist and potentially lethal route and lost everything.

Exactly. Drunk or sober he's a little fuckface twerp and if this show lasts another season he'll be the same. Lala is sober (apparently). She's still an awful person. And so is James. I will NEVER be here for his redemption arc.

When everything came to a head, stassi would have been smart to say, before this was exposed, "I made some terrible decisions and choices with regards to Faith and I'd like to apologize now to her." Then actually pick up the phone and call Faith directly. This would have gone a long way for her but no, she's so stupid, I bet she figured it'd never be found out.  Idiot.

That's what o thought as well. It was clear that nothing she said was going to be OK in this present climate and I wondered if that was why she waited a few days to release a statement. But reaching out to Faith in private would have been the smart thing to do PR wise and I'm stunned she didn't. Faith stated Lala reached out to her privately and was clearly receptive to it. Stassi failed basic crisis management with that move. Someone on the other thread recommended the Vanderpump Rules Party podcast and I listened to it last night. They spoke about a tip they got from a crew member that said there has been a lot of racist and homophobic behaviour covered up by Bravo and that they work to protect Stassi, Jax and Brittany on particular from what they say. So, yeah. Fuck Bravo as well as those 3. And the whole cast if we're getting down to it.

  20. Yeah. I hate people. Every time someone famous does something abhorant there is always an idiot chorus on social media praising them for admitting it (see Josh Duggar). I'm really disappointed in Kristen for this. I expect this from Stassi and take mean pleasure from her getting slammed but I thought Kristen was better than this. Insane, yes. But better. And I want Brittany to get a hiding as well. She called Faith nappyheaded. AND the bitch is a Sandy Hook Truther.

And with both of those statements, neither Stassi nor Kristen actually apologized to Faith. Stassi put out a statement that didn't reference Faith specifically in the apology part ("I apologize and I do not expect forgiveness" was the exact line), Kristen didn't even do that much,

I thought she did apologise to Faith in the statement. But like the last time she apologised when her disgusting comments got her in trouble, I'm fairly certain this is just to stop her remaining sponsors from fleeing. She's a truly vile human being.

That's like that amazing quote from Frasier about Maris

Niles: Oh, you have free reign. Just bear in mind she can't have shellfish... poultry, red meat, saturated fats, nitrates, wheat, starch, sulfites, MSG or dairy. Did I say nuts?

Frasier: Oh, I think that's implied!

I liked Rinna so much when she first came on. Now I look at Twitter and if it's Rinna heavy in the comments I'll skip the episode. She's not a subtle sniper like LVP (who I don't really even like) so there is no explanation why she manages to keep taking all of these people down. Other than the fact that the rest of these women are too stupid to see it coming and mount a defence. And if that's the case they need to start looking for some capable new blood.
