A few observations: The manager sets up the lunch in the clubhouse? Where anyone could walk in and see him with one of the owners? Just like the liaison between Baker's agent and her catcher, this game HAS to have the one guy she had an affair with behind the plate? And people start losing their minds after one close pitch to her (which didn't even look THAT close)? As soon as she says "no one can know," you know everyone is going to know eventually. Those phone pics are going to surface at some point. Plus, if they don't want anyone to know, DON'T START MAKING OUT IN THE PARKING LOT! And for someone who wants to keep a secret, why would you go to what was presumably a fairly local driving range? Baker's agent/manager/whatever "is stopping this?" Really. She thinks she can just go and yell at someone because she's got a client to protect? And who does she go to? The catcher, because no one else cares who she is. I don't give a rat's ass about the personal life of the GM. Sorry, little girl.
