  1. Laurence got classic/trendy, but I could see her look fitting into all the pairings (except fitted/oversized).

    Sexy/modest

    Basic/bold

    Elegant/edgy

Formal/casual (kind of a stretch but maybe)

No real point to this, it's just a thought that occured to me...

IDK, I got the intention behind Brittany's look. If making a completely covered up dress in solid fabric  with body conscious fit  would be a valid  way to answer  the  modest/sexy challenge

why wouldn't   blending sheerness with a high neck, long sleeve, full length    flowy silhouette  do that as well? ....just in a less expected way.

Those  saying there's nothing modest about a look that reveals one's  butt cheeks have a point, but the challenge wasn't merely to make something modest. It was to make something with both disparate elements. It was kind of a dumb challenge to begin with, the judges even said they'd be confused and overwhelmed. What did Romi get, fitted +oversized?

I agree. The challenge wasn't a "real client" challenge where she was making a dress for someone who wanted a modest look that was also sexy. The challenge was to combine the elements. I thought her way of doing it was clever.

I live in Texas...not sure I've ever seen anyone wear a puffer coat.

I live in MN, I've seen lots...  for years... many years. It drives me crazy when they act like "puffer" anything is exciting or fresh. Ezra Miller (ugh, I know) wore a Moncler puffer full length coat/gown on the red carpet in 2018. Ezra Miller is problematic, but it was a "wow" moment. But doesn't fashion move quickly? When that wow moment was five years ago, it seems like it's over.

I got a "Who are the REAL monsters?" vibe out of it.

The last scene with Bo really nailed that!

When they were running away from the werewolf, I got the feeling we were supposed to be hoping Bo and Hec get away, and the other two don't. But Bo and Hec were no better than them.

Even though the episode took place about 15 years ago, I LOVED the callback to the original "American Werewolf in London" special effects pioneered by the amazing Rick Baker WAY back in 1981. Over FORTY YEARS AGO. (Yes, I saw it's original run in the theaters). He set the bar & his transformations still look bad-ass in light of todays now-commonplace FX computer manipulations.

Totally agree about American Werewolf in London! Along with that movie, the paparazzi angle also made me think of "Nope"

I feel like I need to watch this one again someday, because I'm not sure what I think of it.  I think I liked it?  It was certainly effective at the slow-building dread, and I liked OJ, Emerald and Angel.

Did OJ actually live, or was Em just imagining him there at the end?

Why did the famous cinematographer run out to let the alien eat him, basically?  What a dumb decision.  Too many people in this movie making bad choices LOL.

I'm not sure the homicidal chimp storyline meshed that well with the rest of the movie, but it was intriguing.

I liked it much more the second time. The first time I had no idea where it was going and it felt so slow. The second time it didn't seem slow at all.

I go back and forth on whether OJ lived, I kind of wish that was resolved. Or not! I'm not sure! 😃

I think the cinematographer going to get the "impossible" shot ties in with the quest for fame, notoriety, or "spectacle" that the movie comes back to a lot.

I agree the chimp portions had a different tone, but, holy cow! Loved it!

I use hydrogen peroxide for blood if it's fresh, but if I don't spot it until it has dried, I make an OxyClean paste and rub that in.

This reminds me of when a friend needed to get blood out of carpet (not a murder! His husband fell and skinned his knee). I told him when my friend Sarah was a paramedic, she used hydrogen peroxide to get blood out of her uniform. He seemed so confused, he just didn't seem to be getting it. I clarified that he should just dab the spot with hydrogen peroxide. He said "Okay... but... when Sarah was a paramedic... why did she have a UNICORN?"

I regret that I didn't answer "Because they couldn't afford ambulances."

  9.  The scene with Mr. Moss and Gene also reminded me of Season 1 when Sally and Barry do an acting exercise where they say "I love you" with different inflections. Mr. Moss changed how he said "Do you love my daughter" the same way Sally changed how she said "I love you"

  10. Well, I enjoyed the heck out of that! I was tickled to see Eddie Izzard pop up in the hot-hot bath sketch (and brushing her hair with Kevin's toothbrush!)

Favorite line (which I will definitely use when I can):

Gordon: How much do weigh these days?

    Fran: Only whores weigh themselves.

  11. Sally said "The way you yelled at me the other day sent me to a place I never want to go again. This relationship isn't good for me."

She recognized that she was falling back into old behaviors. Barry yelled, she  apologized. She bought a special dinner, a new game controller. She broke up with Barry based on her behavior as much as his.

  12. I loved that Hank's associates are "Dom and Deluise"

Also loved the long, long list of names Gene's agent rattled off, and even remembered who said what and when.

The customer support call to the detonator app was hilarious! "Sounds like we were successful. Is there anything else I can help you with today?"

If I recall correctly, Joe Montegna really does do a lot of work with veterans.

    What was the bomb saying?

  13. I was thinking hand pies/hot pockets. Or state fair food (anything on a stick).

Chef Jim Smith (Charleston) was also a Top Chef scholar. It's such a smart thing to do! And Jim is often a guest on a lot of the Top Chef podcasts now. I hope Buddha will do the same!

Like a lot of people, I'll be fine with any of them winning. But it's Buddha I really want to watch in the finale. He's the most inventive and surprising to me.

Carrigan had another great reaction shot when the other guy was suspicious of why they're going to go after the head Bolivian but not Cristobal

I think I could be happy with 15 minutes of plot and 15 minutes of close ups of Anthony Carrigan's face!

Can't wait to see how this all shakes out!

My issue is that it feels like contestants aren't really embracing the challenges.  Like other than Buddha and Ashleigh, the other 4 really phoned it in.  Like how were their dishes, space themed?

You can take Nick's dish, and he could make it any of the other challenges.

Also, I thought they shouldn't have liquids in the space challenge?  I get that stews are thicker, but it seemed like the contestants were kind of like whatever.  Same goes to all of them using rice (since rice kind of break up like crumbs?), and they were discouraged in using things that can be crumb like.

That was my thought - how is rice different from crumbs?
