I was sorry to see Alex go but glad that he went out in a respectful and classy way. Way to step up and accept responsibility very adult for a reality show – shocking. I can even forgive the issue he has with names. A poster above mentioned that Alex sharing his Tim Gunn story before leaving may have been a last ditch attempt to get the TG save. Although it could have been I didn’t see it as that. I saw it as Alex feeling this may be the last time I get to speak to Tim and him wanting to share with him the impact his initial meeting has had on his life. I got the impression it came from a genuine place. I also think we will see Alex again on an All-Star season. I think his classy exit left a good impression on Tim and the Judges so I can see them inviting him back.
Glad to see Cornelius get the smackdown he deserved. He continues to irk me beyond everything and the “what’s-his-name” comment was all sorts of wrong and rude. He may not be your suite mate but you spend almost 24 hours with these people, learn a name. As someone who has a distinct name myself I have a pet peeve about its pronunciation and remembrance. Mah-Jing’s name is clearly of Asian influence and his appearance is of a black man (he is biracial) that is enough of an oddity that you would naturally remember it.
It just struck me as an intentional diss and we all know how he likes to throw shade. I was glad that one of the only pieces the judges liked was Mah-Jing’s vest. Cornelius, not being shady (HA!) but your tears brought joy to my cold dark heart.

I was hoping beyond hope that Katya would pull this out but not surprised that Alaska won. Prior to last week I was comfortable with either of them winning but after Alaska’s melt down I was left with a bad taste in my mouth regarding her. I just have a thing about reality TV rewarding bad behavior. I know the drama brings good TV but it has become so cliché that people come on to shows intentionally being bitchy and nasty to get producers to keep them around. Not that that applies to Alaska in this instance. I just thought the meltdown was a bad look and that is what gave Katya the edge for me.
That being said Alaska did bring it and performed well throughout the competition so in that sense I see why she won. I just wish Katya had won more money. The good thing is that I think her profile has raised enough that they she will be alright and get a lot more bookings.

Brooklynista I wouldn’t overthink it that’s one sure way to get a migraine to figure out why ratchet is ratchet. Because I can’t help myself (I treat it as a National Geographic study lol) I have questions too.
Beyond the 3 days being gone, why was he in the studio? He isn’t a tattoo artist right? I think they stated on the show that he is his brothers “assistant”. Don’t get me started on why Phor would need an assistant and have we ever seen him “assisting” in anything outside of acting a fool? I doubt Ryan would want anyone staying in the studio overnight let alone multiple nights so I call suspect on him staying in the studio.
What bothers me most is the lack of shame ANY of them have for acting a straight fool on camera. Especially the women, I know it is a double standard and shame on me, but you are sitting there talking on camera about hooking up in a bathroom or actually HOOKING UP in a bathroom. WTF with the over the top sexual public conduct. If I see Charmaine twerk on a random crotch one more time… And these are the same women who will complain that they can’t find a good man or no one shows them respect. Ummmm didn’t I just see you in a see through skirt with you’re a$$ out dropping it like it’s hot? On a nationally broadcast television show? Aight Shenaynay cuz you a laayyyyday.
Not that I would ever go on a reality show but my philosophy is I wouldn’t be doing anything that I could not watch sitting next to my mother and minister LOL

And here I thought I was the only one watching this fuckery go down. Ohhhhhh so much to comment on.
Charmaine needs to really take some self defense classes or at the very least some STFU classes because if you gonna get popped every episode that’s going to get tired really soon. I can’t imagine that they have good insurance if any. Also have a lil bit of dignity about yourself. Value yourself enough to know that you are more than just a thot and put some damn clothes on (i.e. some draws please) The Amber Rose 2.1 schtick is getting old. And please keep Van’s daughter far away from her. You have no business advising a young girl on how to dress or carry herself. You are no role model. That shopping spree was cringe worthy and totally inappropriate.
Ryan needs to make a decision if he wants to a business man or a babysitter. There is no reason other than unprofessionalism for you to not have contracts with each of your artist. My major complaint with Ryan is that he has the expectation that if you work for him you co-sign to his dream. His dream is to have a shop where everyone is down for Mag9 (I say it backwards cuz they are backwards LOL) and has no personal aspirations for their own career. I see the major conflict with him and Kat is that she has personal goals about developing her own brand and building her own career and Ryan is at odds with that.
Ashley Gurrrrrl I have no words on the psychosis you are showing. He don’t respect you cuz he don’t want you. He basically said as much the 1st season. He is dealing with you because of his child. While I find Don repulsive he at least wants to be involved in his son’s life and that is commendable. I think he deals with her because he knows that she would be the type of person that would keep him from his son out of spite. There is no reason to fight over a man because a real man would give you no reason to.
And do me a favor pick up a dictionary – Decored? OH-dasity? Oh and while you picking up that dictionary how about you put down them hood rat friends cuz your bestie is not giving you good advice. You came to that party to cause drama and Shantiqua and Emerald Princess are not doing you any favors. Did you really think that Don would want to talk to you at that particular moment if he had not been home for 3 days?

Glad Mah-jing got to stay. Still not sure how far he will go (definitely don’t see him winning or showing at fashion week) but glad he is around. The flower ambush from the 1st episode still does not sit well with me. But I find his manners even under a brutal critique to be refreshing and scored points with me.
I’m fine with Kimber leaving because she thoroughly confuses me. Her design aesthetic and her personal style just seem…questionable. As a woman of a certain height her fondness for long draping dresses and cardigans make her look even shorter and standing next to a 6-foot model does her no favors. I totally wasn’t expecting the sleeve and chest tattoo either. Combine that with her boring designs and non-flattering personal style you have a hot mess convergence of WTF and Gurrrrrrl NO. To quote Tati from Rupaul’s drag race – CHOICES!
So far I am impressed with Erin. She appears to have a pleasant disposition and clear voice. Didn’t care for last week’s neoprene liberty bell but thought this week’s design was indeed ethereal and pretty. It brought a subtlety and softness to the black light design challenge that I liked as opposed to the rave club kid obvious neon direction.

Cornelius is now dead to me! Why be nasty for no reason? Your simple dress and exemplary spray painting skills may have proved to deliver a dramatic reveal but it doesn’t make you the 2nd coming. I’m going need you to take SEVERAL seats. To start talking shit once the winner comes into the room and sits 3 feet away from you is totally classless and reeks of immaturity. Also, did anyone else catch the shade of Cornelius’ classmate the girl with the magenta hair when Erin came in? When Erin revealed to the designers in the lounge that she won everyone else looked at her and either clapped or extended congratulations. This entitled hipster choking on her own self-importance bitch just looked away and I believe I detected an eye roll. Lady Cornelius’ chief lady in waiting the Duchess of Delusion is also a Bitter Betty.

Bye Phi-phi-Lecia. Not mad you gone. Glad you remained true to the end with your salty exit. Whatever damage control you intended by coming back to the show to “redeem” your image is done. The sad thing is that she can’t blame anyone but herself. She is a mediocre queen that her shadiness and conniving could have been tolerated if she was fierce and backed it up on the runway but alas it wasn’t. Bye Gurl bye! Poor Roxxxy I think she know she's next. I wonder what her spiral and acting out moment will be…
As long as Tati is back (YAY!) I guess I can be OK with Alyssa too. Don’t get me wrong I would never take anything away from her talent but she drains me. Everything is one step too extra and that wears me down. Like in the LSFYL. I don’t know how many death falls she did (I don’t think they are actually called that LOL) but for me it was about 3 too many. Tati was wiping the floor with her in her performance and Alyssa’s reeked of desperation. And yes it was battle to stay in the competition so she probably was desperate but that desperation shouldn’t come through. Tati oozed a sexiness and subtlety that I couldn’t take my eyes off of and was pissed when the camera left her. Alyssa’s performance was too forced. In some ways I was left feeling that Tati was performing for the audience where Alyssa performance screamed "Hey Hey I'm over here! look at me I'm using all the stage. I can crawl on the stage if you like that! Do you like that? How about these death drops! Wow I am doing so much my ill fitting wig is getting in my face"

This was an episode worthy of the title All Star Challenge. Such creativity.

Phi Phi you are still a nasty bitter conniving queen. I never bought the 1st episode mea culpa and true to form she got spooked in the 1st episode and immediately went back to her old tricks, so sad. I think she realizes how out of her league she is and is freaking out. You can leave at anytime and take Roxxxy with you.
Although I find Alyssa Edwards to be entertaining I can only handle her in limited doses. Not upset that she got voted off. We’ll see what the mirror reveal will bring. Speaking of which, I GAGGED at that. BEST TWIST EVER!!! I wonder if the pit crew had to come in and sweep up all the cracked faces on the floor.
I am concerned about CoCo though. Of the mirror girls she is the only one that I think is out of her league in general on this show. Especially taking into account the last challenge. I just don’t see her skills and taste level of the standard to rise to that challenge. I think coming back is going to be a struggle for her.

I live in NYC and over the years I have ran into a couple of the housewives:
· Dorinda and John – this was during her first year as a HW. Really nice both of them actually. She was very talkative and pleasant. My impression was of a genuinely decent woman.
· Sonja – A HOT MESS! This was about 3 or 4 years ago. She came to a gala, stalked the red carpet. Snuck in the event without paying or getting a comp (I know for a fact) I spoke with her and she was definitely on something. A lil loopy slightly incoherent. I got the impression it was something other than liquor. She also had a case of body odor – like her deodorant had worn off. But definitely working her Grey gardens/SATC Samantha Jones old cougar thing persona.
· Bethenny – This was about 5 years ago. She was actually nice. A lil extra and trying too hard to prove she was down with the people but she treated the staff respectfully.
· Carole – at a fashion event and very personable. I didn’t get the feeling of putting on airs or anything, was nice to people.
· Luann – ahhh LU LU… I have encountered Luann on 3 different occasions. Each time a tad tipsy. Very much an air of superiority. At one event she asked where the bathroom was and when I told her the closest bathroom was at the other end of the venue because the closer bathroom was not accessible for guests she looked me up and down rolled her eyes and mumbled something to the effect of “I can use whatever bathroom I want”.

So glad this season and reunion is over. I need a break from these ladies.
Luann and Tom marriage – Ladies, let it go. Luann will never admit that she is rushing into a marriage with a man she really doesn’t know and has given him a level of trust that if he ever deserved it prior to the cheating he definitely does not now. It is telling that the bulk of the blame she is handing out is going to the other woman with her dastardly clutches and herself and the argument she had with him that caused him to leave their apartment in the middle of the night to go to a bar, get drunk and make out with an old flame. It’s sad when Ramona has the relationship clarity to call you on the fact that the attributes that you list as to why you love a man sounds like a list of hobbies and nothing about his character. Ultimately LU LU you are grown woman who can do whatever you want no matter how ill advised. At this point if the rest of the ladies want to “help” their friend they can drop the subject because beating it into the ground will only make Lu stay in the relationship longer to save face.
Beth vs Lu – B you were damned if you do damned if don’t. Doesn’t matter if you told Lu when you arrived or at the end of the weekend this shit storm was unavoidable. For all the talk about female solidarity and letting a fellow woman know when their significant other is cheating I do think for B that embarrassing Lu on tv was something too good to pass up. It could have been handled from perspective of “what would make good tv” – tell on camera or “what is best for my friend” – tell in private. B has been very vile this season but I have to agree with her thinking in regards to the “Are you in a monogamous relationship” being a valid albeit inappropriate question. It has been established that Lu has admitted on camera that she and the count had an open marriage towards the end of it. B knew that and the reason she asked Lu was that given what she knows; the past open marriage relationship and her opinion of Lu’s promiscuity (in B’s mind), the photos of Tom could be a non-issue because they have an understanding. Ultimately Lu’s anger with the situation is because of the messenger more than the message. Also, I am totally waiting for next seasons Bethenny mea culpa tour where she will blame her actions on the fact that she was going through a nasty divorce and in “hindsight” she sees how evil should was and is sorry.
Sonja with the sexy J – Ahhh my Egyptian princess – Queen of De Nile. This can be quick. You were nothing more than a hole for Tom to use. He didn’t think anything more of you over the 10 years and 5 f@cks than that. You have no reason for tears or mourning a “lover”. He didn’t want more from you – he didn’t want to marry you, didn’t want to make you his girlfriend and I doubt he wanted to introduce you to his mama. He owes you nothing. LET IT GO! Also, I think it is telling that S got so put out because Dorinda excluded her from a party. That’s what I walk away with after that performance. S, did you watch the show? The Berkshires was a hot mess that NOBODY who attended wanted to be there and yes, Dorinda made a judgement call to not include you and she did it without malice. You lamenting over how no one takes your feelings into consideration and the temper tantrum that followed shows how clueless and immature you really are.

I really hate the "who on your team should be sent home" question on competition reality shows. It is blatantly engineered by the producers and judges to cause drama especially in team challenges.
Once the contestants know it is a team challenge I am waiting for someone to be smart enough to know that the question will ultimately come up and be prepared as a team to answer it. If everyone committed to answer that question with themselves then that will diffuse the question. Of course this would only work if the ENTIRE team agreed collectively that they stand behind not only the collection but each of their fellow team mates. That would have cut down on the dramatic tear fest that was annoying to watch.
