  1. The whole time I kept thinking "is the show expecting that we're on Josh's side?"  Because he really should have been fired.  Even though the other CSIs were his friends they should have thought that too.  What he did was way over the line, and as said above, any defense attorney would have a field day with him on the stand.  You could never trust any of his evidence.

That was a terrible Dolly.  I can't believe any self respecting drag queen would go out in public like that and claim to be Dolly.

In all seriousness, who is she? 👀

She said she was from the Bachelor. I mostly only watch Bachelor in Paradise, so that’s all I know.

Can someone explain what Bad Girls Club was about?  All I know about the show is from the clips I saw on The Soup.

i hope this show lives up to its promise. It could be amazingly trashy.

  3. I still don't understand.  Why did Jeff want to use the salmon for the crab trap?  It literally made no sense.  They had perfectly good salmon, a good source of fat and calories and protein.  And he used that guaranteed source of food to put into a crab trap hoping to get crab?  Even if he caught crab it would have taken a lot of crab to make up for the amount of salmon he used and all the effort to get and eat it.  Also, there was no reason at all to use so much salmon.  I can't think of a single reason why it was better to use the salmon as crab bait than to just eat the salmon.

  4. I am surprised that I like or am neutral on (almost) all the queens. Especially since I didn’t like all of them on their original seasons.

i can’t believe Kandy wasn’t in the bottom. She was so clearly a step below all the others.  She’s going to stay a frustratingly long time again. I can feel it (no spoilers; my least favorite queen always goes a really long way).

  5. I'm not so sure we were meant to believe the nurse was actually evil.  My impression was that we were seeing everything from Danny's point of view, so we weren't necessarily getting an accurate presentation of what the nurse said/how she acted but how Danny saw it all.  I think that the show meant to leave the question open as to whether he was actually crazy or not.  If that was the point, I'm not so sure they did a great job of making that clear.  But I could be wrong and we were supposed to believe Danny and that she was evil.

I really hate how negative the judging is this season. They complained that the fashion model had accessories but would have complained if it didn’t. Of course a cake won’t taste exactly like an eclair or macaroon because it’s a cake! The right team won but I don’t think I will watch again with this format and negative focus.

This really irked me because earlier in the show when she talked to the team, she asked if they thought they were doing enough since the other team had so much stuff.  Then it comes to final judging and...they have too much stuff?

As one of maybe three people who watched every episode of both Galavant and Pushing Daisies, I was glad to see Sasse and Friel in something new.

I must be the other person. Man I loved Galavant and Pushing Daisies was so good. I like Anna Friel but this is not the role for her.
The show definitely wasn’t good so I don’t know if I’ll keep watching. Maybe I’ll give it one more episode.
I assume the actors did their own singing but they were so clearly lip synching to their studio recorded voices that it was distracting.

  8. Anyone notice at the end when they're showing the house, they mention the kitchen cabinet uppers and then zoom in and you can see that the cabinet doors weren't even/level.  The bottom of the cabinet doors didn't line up and it was obvious.  When they showed a view that wasn't close up I could still see it.

It was so subtle but felt so true to Ms. Jackson. "A nice pantsuit." Just on point to me.

Divine was just too much. I know that I don't know her stuff beyond the original Hair Spray, so I didn't get the murder references at all. I was fine with Pandora going home. Kim Cattrall was not a good choice at all.

“A nice pantsuit” was the only line that made me laugh out loud. I think Ra’Jah hit the LaToya impression fairly well but it wasn’t funny in the way the show wants snatch game to be funny.

I would never have known who Ginger was doing of I had to guess. I thought Kylie deserved the win.

  10. Was Robert Sr. on the golfing trip?  I don't remember him being there.  So how does Mary have the right to be nasty about Heather not having a husband when her husband wasn't part of the agreement either?

Man, this show is amazing.  It's nonsensical and stupid and amazing.  I have a high-stress job that requires serious mental concentration and this show is perfect after.

I still have no idea what any of these women mean when they say someone "has their back" or "doesn't have their back."

  11. I knew as soon as they tasted Mariah's dish that they would say it was one of the best.  Even if it wasn't.  It just increases the drama to have her miss the platform having made the "best" dish.

I'm actually enjoying this show, despite Blais.

  12. I thought it was clear that the octopus was the winner.  The giraffe was odd because they made it look realistic but then put a party hat and kazoo on it with its head in what looks like an unusual position.  I think it would have been more successful to make the giraffe a bit more cartoon like (or more like what a giraffe would look like on baby decorations).

I guess the producers didn’t see all the tweets about how Times Square on NYE is one of the worst experiences a person can have, heh.

I agree - I wouldn't be interested in even competing if that was the prize.  Who wants to go to Times Square on New Years' Eve even without Covid concerns?

I was a bit sad, though, to see the "tractable animals" for the educational program are housed in really small, boring, empty cages. The other animals they've shown us get way more interesting facilities. That building looked more like a jail than a home.

This has always really bothered me too.  It almost seems cruel to me to keep them in these type of cages, especially when other species have much nicer habitats and sometimes access to others of the same species.  It's the one thing about the show that bothers me every time they show it.

  14. I enjoyed this one. I was thinking last week that I don’t really enjoy the show anymore; everything seemed like a retread. However, this one really made me laugh. The absurdity of it all hit the right level for me.

  15. I am not a Jenn fan, but I cut her some slack on not knowing her son’s age. She clearly knew the year he was born off the top of her head. My mom forgets m6 age sometimes and I always have to do the math when people ask me how old she is.

I am not a Brooks fan with his identical tracksuits, but the stuff Jenn said on social media was way out of bounds, especially for the son of her supposed friend.

  16. I don’t know why but the exchange about the car killed me.

”they only made 4, they gave one to Henry Ford who gave it to his hero Mussolini.”

    ”that…sounds about right.”

Before we learned about Gail being a werewolf I was thinking we hadn’t seen the werewolves in awhile and wondering if we would ever see them again.

  17. I don’t mind Demi. She makes for good tv, which is a lot more than I can say for some of the people on this show (e.g. Abigail and Noah - do they have a personality between them?)

Last season was my first BIP season, and it seemed more to have couples who got together and didn’t switch. I’m liking all the drama of people mixing it up.

  18. I think the Nicholas Cage story was funny - I think the joke was that some dude said he looked like Nicholas Cage, and he doesn't at all, so they made a big thing of it with the t-shirt and everything.

Aside from Captain Sandy and Malia, rest of the crew seems promising, in a "I won't hate them before the season is over" kind of way.  Of course, I often feel that way at the start of a new season...

  19. Coming from a small family (4 of us) and now living with just one other person, I have no idea what I would do with a second dishwasher.  A second oven on the other hand...

I surprisingly didn't mind Alison, but we'll see as the show goes on.  She and Mike will be an interesting pair.  I've seen a lot of his shows and got the impression that he was just barely keeping his huge ego from coming out.  The clash of the two egos will hopefully make for good tv.

  20. The whole lead-up to the launch of Discovery+, I kept wondering who would want to subscribe to it at all.  Then my mom got it (to watch Naked and Afraid) and I love it.  I'm watching this show, and am working my way through the original series.  I'm right at the end of season 4.

I like the new show, but it seems like they won't ever design people's actual homes due to COVID which I'll miss.  Also, will we never get a kitchen challenge where a team fails horribly?
