  1. I'm also confused regarding Jackson and Jordan. First he's desperatedly trying to get on that airplane but then instead of just taking the next flight to Jordan he goes back to the hospital saying he "decided not to go". What's up with that? Doesn't that change EVERYTHING? To me this means it wasn't just about her abandoning him; because apparently he was ready to go too.
  2. Also my favourite doctor this episode was obvs Dr Bone
  3. I hate the writers for making me dislike April. It's like there are two sides to her and if we get unlucky (might depend on the specific writer?) we'll have whiny April to deal with. Sorry but when she's using that voice I just can't listen. The mad look in her eyes doesn't help, neither does the crazy hair (yes this is superficial. Somehow everyone else always manages to have a beautiful coiffure after hours at the hospital). I suspect this is all on purpose and unfortunatey, it's working. I used to love Japril but now I want Jackson to leave her. Clearly those two are not able to talk about their issues. As someone pointed out correctly, they're at the same point they were 8 episodes ago. And did she really always decide upon everything? I feel like that happened 'only' this season and they're trying to rewrite history. The only thing that could turn this around would be Jackson saying "let's go counseling" or maybe "let's take some days off to spend time together and actually talk" AND April saying "I am sorry". Could you do that for me writers? Please?
  4. Was no one else bothered by the way they treated the April-Jackson-story? I'm a Japril fan and even if Kepner's been an annoying b*tch for the last few episodes (except for Dinner-Party-from-Hell) I really want those two characters to find a way back to each other. And this will only work if they start TALKING about their issues! That sex scene just came out of the blue, for me at least. Maybe I also feel cheated because I would have wanted to actually see these two realise they're still in love with each other, and to witness the moment when they just cannot resist the attraction between them any longer (instead of having like half a minute conversation and then end up in bed)
  5. Can I just say how much I loved this episode for having (almost) no music at all. THIS is what gave room to the writing and acting to stand out and in turn made this one of the best episodes in a long time. How great is it that they realised we don't need to be drowned in awful cover versions all the time to FEEL. Of course, this won't work for every episode and yes I do love me some Chasing Cars. But tonight I was just happy with the very natural silence.
