Benedict seems to have no personality at all in this show. Am I crazy, or was it implied that he was gay in the first season? Wasn't there a teacher/mentor story related to painting? Or did I dream that up?
It was gay baiting at its finest. The ads for the first season cut from Benedict to the back of a naked man [who later turned out to be the boytoy of the artist guy]. I think after Downton people expected a gay character.
As for this season, I'm still not sure where Francesca came from. Was she in the previous seasons? Or is she the Cousin Oliver of Bridgerton? Why does she look older than Eloise? She's very lovely but surely there must be some bitchy backlash from The Ton that the Bridgertons have produced two diamonds in three seasons.
The romantic dramas of Penelope and Colin are all well and good, but it's the Penelope/Eloise relationship I care most about.

As someone who doesn't recognise the old version of me in the mirror, this episode hit hard. Another Emmy for Jean, please.

[Ben]'s a big non-entity.
I keep wondering what production saw in him that made them choose him over thousands of other applicants.
I've wondered that about most of this season's cast.

I could be wrong, but I thought one of the women in the ghost gang was wearing an old-fashioned dress, definitely pre-Deal Mart. Didn't really get a good look at their costumes (though I'm pretty sure the butcher was wearing a Deal Mart apron; maybe he liked to fight in real life, too, and lost that one).
They're a modern looking bunch.

Kudos to Yanu for listing the hardships they had endured and being classy enough not to mention Bhanu!
Loved how the other tribes were kind of happy for them.

I guess Hannah knew that eliminating Marina would incur the wrath of the fans, but it's foolish to let her anywhere near a lip sync finale. Just hand her the crown.
I'll be happy with any of the final four winning; they're all so endearing.

Where are they finding these people? Bhanu who couldn't do anything right, Moriah who can't jump, Liz who's allergic to everything? Is this a make a wish season?

Venus just simply handed it over this time; she's learned from experience.

And after 90 minutes with no Tribal, some Rando goes home? Zzzzzz.
It's pronounced Randen. 😉

This is all I could think of during Maya and Rohan's parking problem.
Way too many emotional back stories for one episode.
After last season's likeable cast this one seems like slim pickings.

Boy Q is tough on himself.
Previously on Survivor: Q can't abide quitters. [Record scratch] Wait, what?
So the moral of this episode was if you whinge to god enough, a rival will be struck down??

Carol asking why ghosts could walk through walls but not fall through furniture made me wonder if she's ever posted here. 👻

Venus…Venus I want to root for you so bad but you are making it hard. That was an unforced error bitching about the challenge that they won.
She went on about it for so long I forgot that her team hadn't lost and fully expected her to be voted out at Tribal.

It was on Survivor UK a couple of months ago.

Season 2: fun premiere and a great mix of queens I'm familiar with and many I'm not. Tia Kofi has lost none of her narration skills. La Grande Dame is an absolute stunner and Mariana Summers is a force of nature. And I've long been a fan of Scarlet Envy.
Correct two in the bottom and not surprised at the elimination.
Settling in for an entertaining season.

I loved the episode but I'm still bothered by the revelation that Dot [of all people!] didn't attend Witt's funeral or even thought to ask about his family details for an entire year.
The fact that he had a cat named Lucky was just salt in the wound.

The New Year's Treat lived up to its name. Great, fun cast. I'd like to see Kojey Radical on a regular season.

Remind me never to listen to a band in Seattle. My ears will never recover.
I'm also sad Joel and Garret were pipped at the post, but it was an enjoyable, yet nerve-wracking, finale.

And I am so loving the Mrs. Brook/Bourdin flirtation - she's never been hit on in her entire life and I love her confusion and then her 'Oh....tee hee.'
She is Mrs Bruce, so somebody must have hit on her at least once.
Could Cousin Dashell conveniently rethink his proposal when he realises he'll have to support Aunts Agnes and Ada as well...and they're not even related by blood [or is that just Marion?]

Rule number one: never turn down the gift of a beachside Fire Island house.
Rule number two: find a lover who retains his perfect body over twenty years, no matter how much he abuses it.

So nice to be going into the finale without having an "anyone but..." team there to add to the tension.
The final three is such a lovely collection of male relationships: father/son, brother/brother, best friends. They speak so lovingly of each other which is a pleasant change from the usual macho crap in the world.

Seriously, why didn't we get Katurah's origins before tonight? She might have gotten more sympathy rather being "The One That Really Wanted Bruce Gone."
She already had my sympathy for having to put up with Bruce.
Although I did feel for Bruce tonight, thinking about him watching the beginning of the episode at home and witnessing how overexcited everyone was at his demise.

S46 Ep. 13 Finale/Aftershow
in Survivor
That's how Wendell won Ghost Island.
