  1. I flove Floyd! His enthusiasm is infectious. The way he read the clue that he's going to a silent rave...I had to rewind it and watch him again. Just everything makes me happy, it's amazing.

I just recently rewatched Season 5 so seeing Colin be so chill, loving and enjoying the experience makes me believe people can really change for the better.

In general, everyone this season seems to be really enjoying what they're doing. It's so fun to watch. I'm slogging through a rewatch of Season 6 and the cast is so miserable there (it includes the infamous Jonathon and Victoria).

Elissa and the editing in the cab were hilarious. "Don't give up, it's going to be ok Rachel" cut to "Ok, calm down Rachel" cut to "Can you just stop?!"

  2. I liked the scene with Tyrian and his small council of friends. He finally has someone to tell jokes with. I believe he started telling the same joke he tried with Gray Worm a few seasons back.

  3. Damn I missed the whole exchange about eye colors. Can somebody please fill me in?

I respect the amount of work that went into shooting this battle but it was not my favorite. Too hectic, too dark, just a lot of noise and shots jumping from one to another. The Battle of the Bastards was more impressive IMO.

  4. Let's give credit to that Ashley guy for changing his vote at the last second to throw Johnny in.

I don't think producers were in on this but I wouldn't be surprised if we find out mid-season that they're sitting in some redemption house.

  5. I really enjoyed this movie with my 6 year old. It was a lot of fun with some good humor. I thought it was nice that, for once, a superhero gets to keep his parents. The diversity was great in this movie and yet it still wasn’t able to have 2 women talking to each other...how hard is that to accomplish?

  6. Was it just me or was that whole wedding ceremony super awkward? Lili looked really nervous and like she wasn’t enjoying any part of it. And their dance was all kinds of awkward, they shuffled from foot to foot and kept rearranging their hands. I wish them luck but would be surprised if this lasts.

  7. I don't have a problem with Paulie the way others seem to. I don't care about their personal lives and it seems like keeping a relationship and going on one of these shows is next to impossible. The fact that Natalie outlasted Johnny in a endurance challenge and got him out of the game, gives them my vote. That was really impressive. I don't even hate Johnny that much but for some reason every time he's eliminated I cackle with glee - Bananas backpack, Devin eliminating him with the light bulbs, and now this.

Was that really 5 hours that they all had to sit around? I can't even imagine how boring that must have been without access to a phone or a book or something. What about food and bathroom breaks? Then again, I guess the finales usually have a "stand all night in one place" challenge so this isn't too different.

Yeah, Hunter being all “she lied to me!  Scandale!” confused me too.

She lied to you.  So?  How does her fucking Kyle affect your game in the slightest?

I mean, I get Cara being upset about it, even if she’s working my last nerve with her drama, but it should mean fuckall to Hunter what Ashley is doing when they are not in a competition.

And that’s the last time I'll defend Ashley.

On an unrelated note, Joss imitating CT was so funny.  He sounded just like him.

That got a real laugh out of me which is rare for this show.

Angela's read was also pretty pathetic. She's acting like a dog off the chain but saying nothing of substance and didn't really get a reaction out of anyone. Glad she left.

I'm not a fan of the vomit shots they do every season but Zach covered in snot saying that he has 2 college degrees was pretty funny.

I skipped the previews because I hate that they spoil all the good parts but if the winnings can be split or kept, my prediction is that Johnny and Tony get to the end and Johnny chooses to share this time showing what a magnanimous guy he is.

I want to grab Ashley and wipe off that overdone highlighter she insists on using under her eyes and then I want to smack her upside the head and tell her to quit with the cutey, kissy face crap and act like a grown up.

Ugh none of these people act like grown ups. I can’t fathom having sex in a bunk bed with several other people in the room (and a camera!).

But can we talk about Bao?  Y'ALL.   That was quite the emotional rollercoaster.

I don't know how to feel about that one. As a mother to a little son who will eventually grow out of our bonding moments, I should have connected to this one but somehow didn't. And it was a little unsettling when she swallowed her dumpling kid instead of letting him leave...

Wow so I didn't like this at all.

I loved the first Incredibles, I thought it was dynamic and fascinating and had so much to say about the superhero genre, family and marriage and shared those things in an interesting way. But this was...I don't know what this was. It felt oddly low-energy and lifeless. I didn't find it punchy or engaging, most of the jokes didn't land and at some points it felt so serious (particularly the prolonged conversation between Helen and Evelyn after Helen met all the new superheroes) I thought I'd be dropped into some adult drama I didn't sign up for. It was also super, no pun intended, predictable. Of course one of the people Helen is working for is evil. Are we supposed to think Helen and Bob are stupid? How does this happen twice to the same couple within months? I'm sorry, this has great reviews and audience scores but that is dumb

I can't believe after 14 years this is the story they wanted to tell. I think this failed to live up to the promise of the finale scene of the first one, this fractured family coming together to defeat evildoers...only to be fractured again for the same reasons. They ended this movie in the exact same place they ended the first one except this time supers are legal again.

You worded this better than I could but that’s basically how I also felt about the movie. It was a fun time spent with my kid but not the sequel that I expected 14 years later. I thought all the other super heroes were boring and nothing we haven’t seen a thousand times before. The ScreenSlaver really scared my son when s/he popped up and I agree the mask was pretty scary. I always judge Pixar movies by how emotional I get while watching (Toy Story 3 being the clear winner) and I didn’t have any moment to really connect with in this one. I did enjoy Jack Jack though and one scene I thought was pretty funny was Violet’s reaction to seeing the boy in the restaurant.

  12. I thought this was a really nice way to end the show. There were a lot of good one liners but Winston had most of them. When they were looking at that awful portrait of the 3 of them "Can we talk about the skin tones?" and after stretching in his uniform "Ahhh I tore my anus!". I also liked Nick trying to figure out a name for lotion "foot cream hand?"

This show was always good with little moments. One that had me cracking up was Nick trying to get back on Schmidt's good side after the foot cream discovery by putting his arm around his shoulders. The way Schmidt shook it off and Nick's dejected face was hilarious.

I'll miss these guys. Good episodes or bad, the cast always had wonderful chemistry together.

  13. I guess I’m in the minority but I enjoyed this movie even more than the first. I’m usually not much for fight scenes but the choreography in these was great and I loved seeing some new things (lasso fight, robot arm fight). As long as this movie was, it didn’t seem to drag at all.

Colin Firth can do no wrong for me so I was thrilled to have him back although I agree with the poster above that his heart didn’t seem into it. And as much as I enjoy Tatum, his role was kind of useless.

I'm happy with the result but I wonder if any of it was set up or scripted.

I think Kyle may have convinced Tony.  He may never have gotten another chance to throw Johnny into the elimination.  Johnny was so sure of his alliances that he didn't even pack his bags.

But the way they lined up the Troika so that Tony would have the deciding vote makes me suspicious.  Also how convenient for Devin that it was a puzzle challenge.  But we don't know how they choose the games for the elimination round.  In previous challenges at least they spun a wheel or something, so that it wasn't predetermined.

I wouldn't mind if they just had like 4 or 5 elimination challenges in a season and choose among those somehow, so that there's more transparency.  It could be repetitive but maybe the players could strategize more in anticipation of certain types of games coming up in the next elimination.

However, I liked this light challenge so maybe the props or set builders like coming up with new types of games all the time.

It’s funny because first everyone calls shenanigans for Johnny constantly winning and being on top and now that it was switched, it seems scripted again. Who knows the truth but at least Johnny was eliminated at the end and it was very satisfying to watch.

  15. I can’t blame Devon for the bullying because how could he possibly predict this nonsense would happen? It was actually an interesting thing to watch unfold. The way the girls hyped themselves up into thinking they’re doing it to protect Natalie because she doesn’t “feel safe”. And in the talking heads the weak rationalization of why they did it. This was like a study of how bullying works.

  16. I've never been bothered by Johnny getting so far in these games because he is a good competitor and he knows how to manipulate the game (and it's funny to me how people keep believing his bullshit). However, this season I'm pretty annoyed how wins keep falling in his lap. How is he constantly in the Troika when he hasn't won a game in several episodes? Nelson is the only one that makes it across and that puts Johnny at the top, that's crap.

  17. To his defense, I think the British girl is the one who said Portugal for Spain.

What a waste of a fun challenge that was. Did they not consider this possible scenario? There were only 2 questions asked!

Marie is an idiot. It's like there was a moment for her to be on camera so she wanted to stretch that out into a whole thing. Brad already completely forgot about her at that point. I give him credit for staying cool after being interrupted and bringing his personal issues into it.

  18. I don't know how Johnny constantly comes out on top on so many challenges. Is he really the most athletic there?!  And how do we jump from Kyle and Brad saying they'll vote for Tony to having them change the vote to Cory? I'm not a big Cory fan but I do appreciate that he doesn't back down from trying to get Johnny out of the game...too bad he's not so bright.

I was dozing off and came to around the time CZJ and KD were on stage and so help me God I thought that was Michael Douglas on stage with her and I just about died thinking, "OMG what happened to him?!?" I was relieved to find out it was Kirk but then taken aback again because I didn't know the man was still alive.

Loved love loved the Freaks and Geeks shout out from James Franco to Seth Rogen. I adored that show on so many levels. I still boil when I think how badly it was treated.

There were way too many shows and movies I have no clue about. I do have to check out that whats it Big Little Liars? That show is sweeping everything, must be good.

Big Little Lies is so so good! It's only 7 episodes so not much of a commitment.

  20. My money is on Jordan and Tori winning this. I'm fine with that but I'd love for one of the dads to win the money.

Best moment was when Derrick was doing a standard post challenge interview after the smoke house and Camilla freaks out and starts crying. His awkward reaction had me cracking up. High fives and backs out of there.
