At least there was some protein in that. But just straight ketchup? Eew.
I personally consider ketchup to be its own food group, but not on spaghetti.

Jim Croce, “Workin’ At The Car Wash Blues”:
Wrong: “Workin’ at this end of Niagara Falls is an undiscovered Howard Hughes.”
Actual: “Workin’ in this indoor Niagara Falls is an undiscovered Howard Hughes.”

I just finished Father Wants Us Dead, about the John List case. It includes interviews with surviving family members, friends of the kids, and law-enforcement officers and attorneys.
SpoilerThey even tracked down List’s second wife, but she declined to be interviewed.

Yes, and I also have the “Christmas With The Kranks” movie(which I’ve never got around to watching). Believe me, there’s been times I wished I could skip the whole thing!

Did anyone catch Bob Costas’s blunder yesterday?
”The Yankees haven’t been to the World Series since 2009, and haven’t won since Joe Torre’s three-peat.”
Me: WTaF?
commercial break
Costas: “Before my phone blows up, I do know that the Yankees won the World Series in 2009. I was there.”
🤦🏼♀️

As the widow of a Mets fan, I agree.
What a weird schedule for the Yankees: game last night, off tonight, game tomorrow, off Friday, and games Saturday through Monday if necessary.

So.... go, Mets!
What about Waino, is he coming back?

Supposedly, Carlos’s contract only covered a limited number of games(although he was in the studio for at least one pre/postgame afterwards).

I remember going to my town’s(now long-closed)one-screen movie theater to watch Coal Miner’s Daughter, especially the scene where the kids all get new shoes from the mail-order catalog, and seeing the baby and thinking “That’s got to be Crystal Gayle.”
RIP, Loretta.

Maybe clinching the division(which I know is more important to Judge anyway)will ease the pressure a bit.

In Tom Jones’s “Green, Green Grass of Home,” I did realize until fairly recently that when he wakes up from his dream, it’s the morning of his execution(I could never decipher the line “There’s a guard and there’s a sad old padre”). I knew he was in prison, but I assumed he was serving a life sentence.

I would love for Andy to get in, but his relatively high ERA and the PED thing will probably keep him out.
(He’s in Monument Park, though, so that’s fine.)
