Well, I know three couples who got married the day after they met. One was married for 50+ years when death did them part, two are still going strong at 40+ and 45+ years. These weren't arranged marriages, just some adventurous people. One was friends of my Grandfather, two other couples are parents of my friends.
It only took one date for us to move in together. We did wait to marry until we could afford wedding rings. Married 42 years later this month. Life is interesting.
