  1. True dat.  And not all Polish people always going to go on the offensive if they get their feelings hurt.  My husband is Polish and his family are the most peaceful people I know.  I've never seen any of them get all shouty because they generally don't bother with people who are.

My point was, Adam comes from a very traditional family.  Since we've got him and his CV under a microscope, may as well look a little closer.  Very traditional.

I can get shouty when I get passionate about something- with alot of hand waving in person with friends.  <shrug>  I had a boss that used to say "tell me how you really feel Betty".  Otherwise I'm pretty low key.   Glad your husband's Polish family is of a more peaceful nature.

I haven't been able to uncover anything that tells me Adam comes from a very traditional family.  I  just read in an online article where he said his parents told him he was "doing it backwards" - just out of college, broke and starting a non-profit.  His bio on chefak.com didn't tell me anything about his upbringing.

Actually - I found his grandmother's obituary from May 6, 2015.  She was 84 and the obit said "Marcie identified herself as a country girl.  She said my little sis, Vivian, was the city girl.  Marcie enjoyed all the special family times at the farm when they headed down to the river. They built fires, roasted hot dogs and waded in the river.

Her family traveled extensively, pulling a camper to Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore, Ozarks, Texas and many more places.  Every evening, meals were by the campfire so by the end of each vacation Marcie would treat herself to a banana split for all her efforts.  That banana split treat continued through the years."

She sounds like a neat lady - maybe that's where Adam developed his love for adventure.

I admire and applaud people who go out on a limb and take risks (I am not one of them other than meeting my future husband, moving cross country to him 4 months later and getting married 26 years ago to him).  Or follow their heart rather than the call of money.  I know many of them may not be doing it alone but have support of parents financially in some small or large amount but I just find myself defending those who "live outside the box".

  2. He sounds pretty awesome to me, too, on paper.  And I'll bet his parents helped to make him that way.  I'll also bet his parents had greater aspirations for him than to be hooked up with a reality show drama queen.  Er, princess.

But, as a parent, I'm sure they're happy for him if he's happy, especially if he's now getting a book deal.  But I also think it's possible they wish he'd taken a different 'path'.

Wow - tough crowd....not everyone is born to wear a suit and work in a cubicle.

  3. Lemme take a crack at this because I think I understand and believe in what she said.  Sounds like ZM has a set of twins (a boy and a girl).  She's never cared how the fights started but how they ended.  I get this. It's more important how the battles end than how they begin.

Okay, I know some of you think it's stupid when I say it's sometimes better to take the high road.  So I won't.  But I will say, just because someone has been a dick to you doesn't mean you have to be a dick back.

I'm certain that we've taught our son to not let some dick's behavior dicktate (haha) how he's gonna act in return.  Because then, the dick wins.

Well as a TWIN GIRL with an 18 month older SISTER to boot, I can tell you growing up there was NO HIGH ROAD! No was there any parental refereeing now that I think of it. LOL.  We survived, and know how to fight (and pick) our battles.  If someone's being a dick, they're going to be told they're being a dick.  Walk away? Fuck that - I'm Polish, you're going to hear from me what I think about you.

  4. It is Carole and then Satan Andy insisting Carole and Luann were friends and Luann saying they are not and were not friends.  Carole even went so far as to say she was so concerned for her friend Luann in London (all the while insulting her by saying someone kidnapped Luann and left the Countess) that it proves she was a good friend.  I am thinking Luann doesn't like being insulted in confessionals by Carole or Heather or anyone .

Ramona may have caused been the cause of the man being left unattended but Carole and Heather barged into Luann's room all on there own.  Granted I think it was more for drama-as C&H waited for the cameras to get there but I do think they probably would have gotten a bonus if Luann had had another life form in bed with her.

My son can date whoever he wants and please do not say my son is not a man because he still values his parents' opinions.  We would like to think we are a family and strive to interact in a positive  and loving manner.  If one of us brings in a negative, vitriolic person that person would be subject to any one of the  opinions in the household.

I copied the following from the website ChefAk.com - as in Adam Kenworthy:

His interest in endurance sports began shortly after receiving his bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University. To help raise money for the Big City Mountaineers organization, Adam set out with his bicycle and a small bike trailer on a journey that would take him nearly 4,000 miles - from the state of Washington to the coast of Maine.  Since then, he has traveled the world competing in some of the most prestigious and challenging races known to man.

    This includes:

“Cascade Crest 100” 100-mile trail run through the Central Cascades of Washington State

“Silver Rush 50 Run” 50-mile trail run in Leadville, CO

Twice at the “24 Hours of Moab” mountain bike team relay

    Three 26-mile marathons

    IRONMAN triathlon in Australia.

Adam also loves mountain sports, especially mountaineering and backcountry snowboarding.  He has experience mountaineering the Himalayas of India & Nepal and spent much of his college years exploring Colorado backcountry searching for tranquility in the form of fresh powder.

Working as a private chef & healthy living coach in New York City, Adam divides his time between his clients and Nicaragua where he has founded a non-profit organic fruit farm (Finca Santa Marta.) He now spends his spare time trail running in Central park and finding serenity in the waves of Long Island.

Somehow I don't think Mom and Dad would have much to say about who he dates.....sounds pretty frigging mature for 29 to me....

  5. Ok, I got this far, read through this thread and am pretty confused about the discussion.

Do I care if Carol might have had polite conversation with Luann's niece? No. Do I think she should be concerned/protective etc. about her feelings about an ex boyfriend? No.

This Nicole is Luann's niece who is by definition NOT her daughter. I am certain Carol could very well have a niece or second cousin or something who she could feel close to and have concerns for without the benefit of having children and being a mother.

I actually think the entire matter is stupid and don't really understand why we are picking it apart. Luann and Carol were not good friends in real life. They are work "friends".  When you are paid to be someone's friend on tv -- it does not mean you are real friends. I don't think if they had met in real life without Bravo influence, that Carol would want to be friends with Lu-- it seemed like she could hardly stand her when they first met.

Luann is just not making sense but she is sucking a lot of oxygen from the show with her bizarre chip on her shoulder. I feel she is trying to give Carol the Alex treatment. Thing is, Carol doesn't care as much about her friendship or her regard as much as Alex did. The whole "my privacy was invaded!" -- during Bravo filming because the girls woke her up to ask questions about the man that Ramona actually brought back -- umm. maybe she should save her anger for Ramona who directed them there and basically pointed the finger at her.

No one was expecting to catch Lu with anyone-- they knew the guy left and they were basically told Lu was responsible for him at that point.

This is so dumb. Can't these Ho's just meet the guys at their hotels instead if they can't take 4 day Random One Night Stand break? They have a car service.

FWIW, Adam definitely has a type. Nicole and Carol-- both thin, long light highlighted brown hair....

A thousand thumbs up for your post Lucelu

Adam has never tweeted anything discrediting Luann so I think it is pretty safe to say neither Adam or Nicole are jumping into the fray.  I doubt Noel would have developed a bond with Adam had he been there just once.  I think this goes too far that everything Luann says is a lie.  It just doesn't mean that at all.

I will say this as the mother of a 23 year old MAN, not young boy, as Carole would call him, if my son ever dated someone who behaved the way Carole has publicly, we would be having a talk.  I would not care if his former girlfriend's aunt started it on Twitter, it would be indictive to me of what might happen should the two of them go their separate ways. I don't like vindictive friends.  I would also question why he wanted to date a hoodrat as they say on Married to Medicine.  As the mother of twins, I never bought he started it or she started it. I was more concerned about who ended it or how it was resolved. Carole could have ignored Luann on twitter or explained her side without attacking Luann.  The most effective thing Carole could have said, "Luann I know you are uncomfortable with the situation and Adam and I both enjoy your friendship and I would like to be able to socialize with you when I am with Adam." The onus transfers to Luann to be the one to continue the friendship.

    1) how has Carole behaved publicly that is offensive?

    2) What would be indictive?  Do you mean indicative? and what? Is Carole somehow showing you how she would react if she and Adam broke up?  Who would she be vindictive to?

    3) Scratching my head at the "twins" thing but ok - what even though Lu brought this shit up, Carole's the skunk because she won't back down?

    4) as the mother of a 25 year old...hmmm good question.  I will say that at 25 he's much more mature than he was at 23 and at 29 I bet he'll be even more mature.

  6. No offense to east coasters but for the most part RHOBH is fairly controlled as RHOC.  NJ and NY are off the chain with interruptions.  This past year was the worst for BH but they usually let someone say something.  I think we will see the rating next week to see if my opinion is reflected.

It was in a private hotel room not in public.

Ella's name was brought up exactly once by Luann not Dorinda.  Now I sound like Bethenny.  Dorinda said her mother would be appalled Heather brought her mother into the conversation.

you must be watching an edited version - LOL - because my blood boils more watch RHOBH episodes and reunion more than NY every season

  7. Oh, hell no.  Jenny McCarthy would be my last straw with this show.

Oh you and me both.  I CANNOT STAND HER!

When did Carole meet Adam? Last October? There is a pic of Nicole and Adam if you google Nicole Nadeau:

Nicole Nadeau and Adam Kenworthy at the FRANKxDKNY After Party on September, 07 2014

Oh no -- was Nicole the niece that a few seasons ago Luann and niece went to some bar or nightclub or something.  I remember the "niece's" outfit was really dumb looking and couldn't get past it.

The article shows Carole posing with Nicole for PR photos from a solo show of Nicole Nadeau entitled, "Portraits of Origin," held on February 7, 2012 and a photo of Carole and Nicole together posing for a A.C.E. Committee Soirée held on April 10, 2014. I thought Carole said, at the reunion that she "never" met Nicole...I know Carole was just joking, lol.

I have a son 20-years younger than me so I'm not enthusiastically supporting this May/December romance. But to Carole, a 50-year old I would think if anyone tries to interfere with her 20-year younger lover, she'll cut the bitch with a knife. Lol, she'd even sit on his handlebars to stay close to him...no walking or taxi for this toots!

Didn't Carole/Adam say she and he had a fight because he left in the morning without waking her up to let her know he was leaving. A little possessive/needy for a women that's old enough to be his mom...I know she was "just kidding".

I have no idea what went on between Adam and former girlfriend Nicole...only they do...not Carole or LuAnn. Shame on the mature ladies fighting like pirates over and for these two young former lovers. I noticed Nicole's involvement on his online business/charities. She seemed caught up with Adam's personal and business life. The break up must have been difficult on both of them...though Carole will be working on a cookbook with Adam. He's blessed to have had two women in his life to help him professionally.

Would it be less possessive/needy if they were closer in age?  If he/she were dying of cancer?  My husband or I don't leave the house without giving each other a kiss and saying goodbye.  Why would anyone find that wrong?

I thought Carol's Brady Bunch comment was silly because the number of children obviously isn't the point and has nothing to do with what Lu was saying.

But I don't see how it's insulting at all (unless she really needs her motherhood superiority validated that much at that moment), especially compared to Luanne's comment about how Carol doesn't have children ha ha ha. Carol is childless in large part because of circumstances and even if she wasn't, isn't it insulting to tell somebody you think their life choices make them a loser?

That really doesn't cover it. Not being so motivated to have a child that you want to find a sperm donor or be a single mother doesn't not mean you have no feelings about not having children or wouldn't be hurt by someone throwing it in your face like it's a failure. Luanne herself might not have had any children if her life circumstances were more like Carol's but obviously that doesn't mean she wouldn't have ever wanted children. Children are something that for most people involve circumstance as much as choice.

Carol is of course wrong that having only one child makes you any less a mother than having 6, and she can't know exactly how it feels to be a mother regarding getting caught sleeping around without actually being a mother. But she was right that she didn't need to have experienced it to get what Luanne was saying, at least, especially since this seemed to involve Luanne's very specific etiquette about all this--that it's okay for Mom to go public about sleeping with somebody your age on TV but it's not okay for an acquaintance of Mom's to date Mom's niece's ex who's 28...or whatever distinction Luanne was making there. I can't remember now. I think it had something to do with bringing guys home to meet your kids, which Carol doesn't have to deal with, and isn't really relevant to whether or not Carol should date a 28 year old.

All this talk about Carole and whether she "chose" not to have children...or circumstances dictated....etc. and so on makes me think of 2 friends who didn't find love and a husband until their mid-30s and then found themselves unable to get pregnant.  One adopted and the other never had children.  Ooh, is it co-incidental they both work in television?  I scratch my head now to figure out are they to blame because they didn't settle down soon enough?  Should I sympathize because they didn't find love soon enough?  Should they have known before they found love that they wanted children?

Think about it with Carole....obviously with Anthony there would not be any children.  So now, she's in her mid-30s and oh boy that clock is ticking!  Does she hear it? I had to look it up -- She was already THIRTY SIX when he died.  Man - ya know what? childless by choice?  Fuck that. Thirty-fucking-six years old and your husband has just died of cancer less than 4 weeks after your very close (god forbid I say "best") friends.

  8. The fact that Carole expected Lu to be considerate of her extremely close friendship with these people and not treat the visit as an opportunity for personal gain. She made a big deal about how rude it was of Lu to put her friends on the "spot" and how embarrassing it was to Carole that her friends were put in an "awkward" position by asking for favor.

It's not exactly the same but Carole was quick to criticize and get mad at Luann for doing something that would make Carole and her friends uncomfortable. And this was just about a damn dress no less.

    Carole = Lu

    Designers= Lu's Niece

    Dress= Adam

Carole's quick to draw lines and boundaries when it's about the people in her life but can't see it in terms of Lu's situation with her niece?

"Not exactly the same" ?  That's putting it mildly!  A visit to a designer for a dress leads to borrowing dresses....because you're a greedy bitch.  A visit to someone's house leads to a romance....because you are two humans attracted to each other.

I'm Team Luann.  You don't screw someone else's help.  Those people are kept for the pleasure of their owners (ok, renters since you can't technically own people anymore...stupid Amendments to the stupid Constitution).  Luann was keeping that cook for her niece, not for Carole.  I feel like Carole could at least offer Luann something in exchange, like a horse (thoroughbred) or maybe something social, like hooking Luann's kids up with an opportunity nobody else could get because we lack connections.

Which is to say: I feel like this is some serious Rich People Problems kinda stuff going on.  And while I can't relate to it, I'm entertained enough.

More seriously, Carole should have figured this out by now.  I think the key is Luann's phrase about how the cook and the niece were planning a trip to Nicaragua together.  To me that's a clue that the niece still had feelings because for her it was a trip with a guy, not a trip for anything else (at least as Luann relays it).  I also have a better handle on the age thing because I think Luann's point is that young men are for fun but you leave them to build relationships with the young women, like the niece.  That's how I'm spinning it anyway so that it makes sense, though I still think Luann needs to acknowledge that this guy is a free person who, y'know, made choices.

On another note, this is still my favorite HW season ever.

I think my favorite part of last night was watching Bethenney pretend that she's in any real way cool with Heather (Frankel cannot control her face...or her urge to look to Andy for support in moments she finds exceedingly annoying).  I also appreciated Heather's position re: her nanny leaving a lot more once she explained it the way she did (ooh- I like that my comment can start and end with references to the help and their role in the lives of the wealthy).

But I think all the old rich wrinkly men are beating them to it!

It's basic protocol as well as common sense that you don't go after exes of your friends (or family), unless you want to cause drama. The only respectful way to go about it is to ASK first, and if your friend says it's fine, then you may proceed. Even then, the person may not really be unbothered, but at least they can't openly be upset with you because you got their permission. This shows respect for the relationship you two share. So I understand why Lu is upset: Carole showed zero respect or regard for her family member's feelings.

Carole knows she violated this protocol and instead of just apologizing for that, she's adamant she did nothing for Lu to be upset about and tries to deflect by making it only about age and sex.

And it's not like Adam is exceptional, either. From what we've seen of him, he has nothing to say. But of course that's not why she's with him. So then, there's no shortage of scrawny boys waiting for a come up/sugar momma.

All fair in love and war!  I think there's a time limit isn't there that after a certain period of time you don't have to ASK permission of anyone to date anyone else?  What is this - middle school?

And yeah! What someone else said about Harry!  Obviously LuAnn doesn't follow her "you should have asked my permission!" rule cus wasn't she boinking Harry at the same time Sonja was?

    • Love 9
  9. You know Carole was all you “shouldn’t treat my designer, "family like" friend as your personal closet for shoots” That season she was all over Lu for every damn thing. Oh sure, THAT’S overstepping boundaries and that was something somewhat BUSINESS related but you hook up with a friends nieces ex without much reflection or concern and that’s supposed to be no biggie? Hmmmmm.  Hypocrite…huh… ?

I can't even see a connection between the two to make it remotely hypocritical.....One is a designer family friend being used as a personal closet and the other is someone dating someone's nieces ex?  What the heck am I missing here?

    • Love 6
  10. Nah, me thinks sex in public bathrooms would appeal to Lu-man absolutely because they are public.  Sheesh, some of the stuff Carole threw out & Lu said herself makes me think she's a sex addict.  Get help, Lu.

Idk, I mostly liked Bethenny.  I thought she'd be acting like the star & taking over, but she was mostly pretty laidback.  I wish she would have copped to how her homeless comment was extremely insensitive to the horrible homeless prob going on in the city now, which is worse than ever.  But no.  Honestly didn't care much for that.

The biggest prob for Lu was that she was so obviously on such a rampage.  Yikes.  She was skeery.  And very, very scattered.  OK, I thought it was bullshit of Carole to tell Sonja not to speak of JFK Jr. cuz he was her family.  But then outta nowhere Lu was flinging arrows at Carole & she said some nasty, cutting, vicious remark about Carole concerning John (maybe not being Carole's family -- I didn't catch the specific remark, but it sounded really nasty in tone).  Man, Lu was so over-the-top in her nastiness to Carole.  Didn't like it.  Ew.

Look, I said it in the thread for the last ep, Sonja's remarks about JFK Jr. were harmless & she was drunk.  Her rambling comments were rooted in that she thought he was a very attractive guy, as a billion other women did, so who the fuck cares?  I was OK with Carole saying nobody who knew him called him John John because this is absolutely correct, but other than that, Carole was off base ordering Sonja not to talk about him.  He is/was a public figure & photographed & talked about maybe every day of his life.  For Carole to demand anyone not to speak about him is ridiculous, and whatever her relationship to him is, it's irrelevant on this issue.

Now, Carole might have said she knew for a fact John was not partying at all in the years before his untimely death & that he was working extremely hard to make his business a success & she was bothered by Sonja's babble because she thought it implied John was a partier rather than the serious hard-working professional he actually was.  But she didn't say that.  Instead, she highlighted that he was her "family".  Idk, seemed to me like she was promoting her Kennedy connection again.  Didn't care for it.

Ugh, I hope we've seen & heard the last of this Lu/Carole/Adam stuff cuz there's is NOTHING new left to be said.  It's just giving me a headache.  Make it stop, Satan Andy.  And oy, Nicole, if you're really that hung up on Adam, get yourself some help, hun.  He really ain't that great.  And Lu, get another chef.  There are a zillion of them around.  And given your sex addict status (OK, I'm guessing on that), Lu, you should make sure he's under 30 & bangable.

I can understand Carole not wanting JFK Jr.'s name to be associated with Sonja in any way!

Actually, Sonja is younger than what JFK Jr. would be. (I think Sonja is 51 or 52. John would have been in his mid-fifties). I don't think the "partying" is really the issue, though. John was family to Carole. And disrespecting family is supposed to be off-limits to these Ho's. At least that's what they always say. I know John was a very famous public figure, but that's not who he was to Carole, and it's just insensitive of Sonja to reference him at all, let alone as her party conspirator, esp. since he's no longer alive.

My mind is officially blown for the day.  I cannot comprehend that Sonja is younger that what JFK Jr would be only because I will forever see him as a young man.  And I see her as an old hag (she's younger than me! No way!) I have a newspaper and the People magazine from when they died.  Broke my heart.  I give Carole permission to guard whatever memories she has of him and Carolyn in any way she wants to.

  11. When I saw these photos on the Bravo website, the pictures of Kristen with those ridiculous extensions and really, really big dress reminded me of someone or something that cracked me up.  As I was putting the images together, my short term memory loss kicked in and I totally forgot what comparison I had made.  I hope these pictures of Kristen trigger the same thought (whatever it was) for one of you because it's driving me crazy.

  12. Girl, we are the same but opposite. I was a kindergarten teacher and I had to use that slow, controlled voice with lots of hand motions. But I only used it with 5 and 6 year olds. That is what initially bothered me about Heather - the way she seems to speak down to adults, be it her friends, enemies or husband. To further that image of 'speaking down', when putting someone in their place she puts her nose up and literally talks 'down' to them just like she's doing in the gif above.

Errrrr.....I duhrknow. Actually there are loads of gif sites. They don't give sources or explanations.

hahaha then you don't want to be in the same room when I have to repeat something to my husband for the 3rd time because he just.doesn't.get.it.fast.enough.!

Mileage varies and I'm predisposed to doubting Heather's credibility, but desperately trying to instigate an argument involving the two lodestars of the show by lobbing an epithet at one of them during the finale party isn't the behavior of a dignified cast member who's tired of the drama and prepared to leave, imo (though I suppose it's possible that Heather discovered a sudden desire to exit the franchise once she started to shed supporters and finally feel blowback on her conduct) . . . OT but Lydia's departure from Orange County didn't exactly ease the transition from one season to the next for production. She actually wasn't pregnant when she left; she just said she wanted to have another baby sometime in the near future and her son wasn't born until over a year after she bounced. Potential narratives involving the nascent conflict between her and Heather evaporated, and filming occurred for over a month and a half while casting was still underway since Lizzie didn't appear until sometime in December.

On the other hand, I thought it was a fabulous parting shot if she is prepared to leave.  I love it!

  14. That pointing finger of both Holla and the Countess. Ugh. My gardening shears come to mind.....

hahahaha! Everytime someone points out some flaw in Heather I realize - I do that too!!  Haha.  I am such a finger pointer! Not for accusation purposes but for emphasis.  Sometimes I catch myself and pull it back in.

I'm also a conversation butt-inner!  OMG - from the next room in my house I will insert myself into a conversation!  I would so pop into that Bethenny/Ramona convo with my 2 cents.  Because I am ALSO an armchair psychologist!

Ha ha! We'll create a Facebook group or something, people who are overly invested in Heather.  I fully admit to being amused, bemused, baffled and embarrassed by why I care so much!!  I mean, I liked Bethenny the first time she was on RHONY, but I barely blinked when she left; and I never cared about any other housewife coming or going from any other show, but in this case, I feel like I fret more about Heather's portrayal on RHONY than she does herself.  It's ridiculous and I can't explain it, but I'm glad to have company in my over-investedness!!  Holla!  #Helpme

Add me to the Holla Honey list!  I adore Heather.

  15. There would have no way for Heather to know if Sonja's clothing line would be sold in Kmart or any store for that matter based on the 1 dress she saw at Sonja's magazine cover party. Take the dress that LuAnn wears from her line on the reunion show, she offers that same design but made in a different material on Evine, the same could have been said for Sonja's dress, that the 1 she wore that night was made of silk but could have been made of a different/cheap material and sold at Kmart. Of course, I doubt that Sonja's "partners" would agree to make enough dresses/clothing items from Sonja's line to stock Kmart, Wal-Mart, Sears, Macys, any other store or even shopping channel.

IMO, Heather is the only HW, across the franchise, that has had no PS, botox or fillers done to herself and I find at refreshing and admirable!

And that's a shame because although I have variety of department stores near me, I think nothing of picking clothes up at Wal-Mart because I'm there every week grocery shopping and it's the closest of stores to me.

  16. Bethenny brags about how when she signed up for RHONYC she would not agree to Bravo getting a percentage of her brand-it is called the Bethenny Clause.  http://www.inquisitr.com/2064235/bethenny-frankel-reveals-how-checking-the-wrong-box-cost-her-millions/  Something tells me that many of the other RH have invoked the Bethenny Clause.

Carole in fact does call Sonja out and then asks that Sonja not talk about her family.  Technically, Carole should have said, my late husband's family.  There is really no recognition for cousin-in-laws.  It is always my husband's cousin or cousin by marriage.

Damn if it's not the grammar police coming after Carole, its Miss Manners.

My cousins have always been my cousins no matter which side of the wedding aisle they sat on. Or which which branch of my family tree they sit. Didn't know I needed to designate them as anything other than MY FAMILY.

  17. Brian Moylan's recap is worth a look-

    http://www.vulture.com/2015/08/real-housewives-of-new-york-city-recap-season-7-episode-19.html?mid=twitter-share-vulture

And both Bethenny & Carole have posted this on their Twitters.  Sex addict Lu-man gave me a giggle-

I enjoyed the Vulture's recap but.....windows were you have to look UP to see out of them in a sub-street level apartment means you would be in a BASEMENT not an ATTIC.  That made me chuckle....because I don't think I could live somewhere where I couldn't drag my head up off my pillow in the morning and look out a WINDOW!

  18. They had been separated since 2010.  Boarding school and college roommates remarked she struggled-and yet Carole knows better.   She suffered from depression and to blame someone outside of the person who took her on life is wrong.  She had two arrests and had her children removed because of her inability to care for her children.  The point was people far closer to the situation seemed to have a more complete history and buttinski Carole couldn't resist adding her two cents.  Did she think it would benefit the couple's children calling out their father-the only remaining parent?

Sorry - I'm just not buying it.  this ^^^ or the article.  Joseph Kennedy II tried to get his marriage annulled so he could marry in the church years ago; Michael (was it Michael?) was cheating with the babysitter before he skied into a tree and died....I'm sure there are more examples of Kennedy based demons that would cause a spouse to spiral downward - well there ya go, Ted Kennedy and his wife Joan...If I stay here long enough I'm sure more will pop into my brain without the help of google search.

I don't think Carole called up People magazine and said Oh! I have insight into the situation;  yeah, she just busted through that conversation the reporter was having with the family and OTHER friends to put in her 2 cents.  Again, they said FRIEND, heck even FAMILY have countered what the Kennedys have said.  Although, if she follows Sonja's rule of etiquette she should have said "oh, let's not talk about her, let's talk about ME!"

And as far as the highlighted text: Yes - let's blame Carole and her comment in a 2012 People article for all the horrors those children will go through in life.  Please - isn't it bad enough that if she WAS clinically depressed they have depression to inherit?   or philandering from their father's side of the family?

  19. LuAnn saying her privacy being violated by someone entering her room is valid-whether she was with another person having sex or like Carole saying she was masturbating.  Carole's intrusion was to awaken her to go on a pre-planned event and I don't believe for one minute she didn't have notice because you can't just leave a hotel room door unlocked and yeah the hotel said the doors are self-locking.  So that intrusion was for camera sake.  The intrusion into LuAnn's room was to get information out of her after Ramona claimed she didn't know anything about the guys.  Big difference, knocking asking permission, entering through a seating area and barging in to the sleeping quarters.  Your interpretation of LuAnn's comments are both in error and disingenuous.  At no time did LuAnn saying she was fucking a guy.  She said she could have been swinging from a chandelier with a guy on her back.

Here is where we differ- everyone pretty much accepts the fact that Carole's feelings as a widow are different than a divorced person's feeling of loss or someone losing a beloved pet.  (Yes there are idiots who do make the pet comparison.)  You can't say you experienced the pregnancy and childbirth if you have never been pregnant or given birth.  You can experience being a parent having never experienced pregnancy and childbirth.  (They are called men and parents of adopted children and step parents and foster parents and parents of children born through surrogacy.)  Carole can't have experienced the feelings of a parent without being a parent.  She can experience how she felt as a child if and when her parents ever embarrassed or humiliated her.  I guess the long and short is don't strike and attack or hurt someone and then claim their feelings aren't valid.  There was nothing LuAnn could have done to prevent Heather and Carole from barging in (apparently these idiots don't sleep with their doors locked or everyone has a key to everyone's room) what she wasn't doing  was f%cking a married man.   Carole saying it was wrong.

I think the fight between Carole and LuAnn is stupid.  I just think Carole fights very dirty and has no regard for hurting other people's children.  Here is a perfect example of Carole substituting her opinion for people who are far closer to a situation and disregarding their observations and feelings.  http://www.people.com/people/archive/article/0,,20598752,00.html  I use this example as the woman did commit suicide.  Saying someone who commits suicide is bothered by demons is hardly hyperbolic.  Carole just comes off as a know-it-all.

I never said everything not filmed is off limits.  I think the participants can apply filters and some choose not to.  If two RH are in a situation and one says - years ago my father got imprisoned for embezzlement and my mother divorced him and changed our last name, I have always wondered what happened to my dad but to look for him would hurt my mom's feelings.  Is it juicy-yes, did it happen during film and not on camera - yea, what would it serve to open up this RH past?  Perhaps someone was missing jewelry-would it then be acceptable to say -well RH X, real father went to prison for theft so I the apple doesn't fall from the tree.  Let me bring it up in  confessional-where no one has the ability to answer it.  Or if RH X, was the one who took the restaurant owner away from Carole-should she just use whatever she wants to get her point across-I think not.  I think it makes her look very small as a person.

More like a friend.  Or "a Mary Friend" as she is referred to in the article.    "Adds another friend: "Mary did not have a history of depression. She became a troubled person because of the divorce."" - I guess this person is also a know-it-all for voicing her opinion of the relationship and suicide? Sounds like she would also think "the demons were hyperbolic".

Anyone who reads the article can see the blatant Kennedy vs. Richardson fight throughout the article.  For cryin' out loud, he was already in a relationship with Cheryl Hines the Christmas before she killed herself in May of 2012.  Yes the demons where hyperbolic (defined as exaggerated and I had to look it up) because the only demon was Robert Kennedy Jr.

  20. This is what I thought too -- at first.  And given Lu's slutty, predatory ways, which we saw only indirectly in St Bart's, and merely heard about many, many times by now -- altho more than a few times from stuff she herself has said, it's easy to come to this conclusion.  But Lu is all about sticking to her pretentious beliefs -- and appearances.  And honestly, I think she actually does believe this silliness about not fooling around with the help, which surely the Count instilled in her.  Was she lusting after Adam?  Oh, I believe it.  Would she have gone for a quickie with him, if he was into it?  No, I don't think so, but only because of his involvement with her niece.

Lu is close to her niece, and I think her niece is a big reason why she's so bothered by Carole's relationship with Adam.  The niece must be having some difficulty getting over Adam & Lu feels responsible, maybe because they met thru her.  It's all very silly.  The niece is being ridiculous & so is Lu.  The niece is young & beautiful & could meet someone more interesting & better-looking than Adam in 2 seconds.  She needs to move on.

Lu should stop with the judgey shit, where it concerns Carole & just STFU about their relationship.  I know it's tempting for her to comment on their relationship, but she should realize in the end her nasty, vile comments are only making her look bad.  Hey, in a sense I can't blame Lu for wanting to comment.  I saw this the other day & I thought Carole looked abso-fucking-lutely ridiculous-

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3189521/Real-Housewives-New-York-star-Carole-Radziwill-51-chef-boyfriend-Adam-29-prove-going-strong-despite-criticism-star-LuAnn-Lesseps.html

I may be 56 but I'm not grown up and I think that would be a lot of fun to be ridden around on the front of a bike (I'd be the one with the geeky helmet).  Live it up!

For me, it's not about analyzing Adam's looks or lack thereof, or his age. But if Carole likes him for whatever reason - hey, maybe she actually likes him for his personality and/or their chemistry! - so be it. I wish them well.

ETA: By "lack thereof," I didn't mean that was my opinion, just that it's a topic of discussion among viewers, and I don't have a dog in the fight.

    A-fucking-men.

  21. http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-new-york-city/season/episode-720/videos?clip=2890211

A clip from the reunion titled "Does Sonja Believe Her Own BS?"

Luann's dress is hurtful on the verge of offensive.

Holy Crap.  Sonja is so delusional...or is she?  Is she clever enough to just be "playing a part" to keep herself on the show?  Ugh, like I said in the episode thread I just want to punch her in the nose.

I would have liked Heather (and I love her to death) to not pipe up and just let Carole and Sonja word it out.  I adored the way Bethenny (and I'm not always crazy about her) sat there contemplating what the hell Sonja was saying and then chiming in.

And Ramona?  Way to Defend Sonja and throw her under the bus at the same time.

And YES! YES! LuAnn's dress was HIDEOUS!!!  Horrible.

  22. Wow, Sonja really went at Ramona in her TH with the "masquerade party" comment! She has not forgiven Ramona for talking about her during the T&C trip!

I missed that comment - or maybe heard and didn't know what she meant.  So what did sonja say and what did she mean!

Ok - Ramona's face in her talking heads looks really weird compared to her in the scene with Sonja on the bed.  It must be botox? because it's like her lower lashes have totally disappeared.  So Face lift?  stretched them away?

Bethenny's condo was just okay.  No warmth; Brynn's room made me think of a Crate and Barrel or Restoration Hardware (remember all the boxes!) catalog.  Just not me.  And I wouldn't be able to live with out looking out a window in my bedroom - well any one of the rooms for that matter.

  23. If they were trying to be good friends, then that would have been a discussion OFF CAMERA while on camera they would ask end customer oriented questions to give Sonja an opportunity to talk up her clothes.  Time and place and all that.

Nodding and smiling on camera when production would KNOW they were faking it would only lead to Talking Heads that would cause heads to explode here.
