That ending was the closest we'll get to happy one. I'm dreading tomorrow.

My feelings exactly...but I want a "they walk off together to continue the fight" ending...but I doubt that I'm going to get that...

I'm glad that they read Fusco into the situation, and that he's back fully with the team.

While I thought it was pretty obvious that the "quicker than Root" assassin was going to be Shaw, I did yell "yes" when it actually was her.
Question: did anything occur (on screen) between them between the time they both had their guns to their own heads, and when the whole team met by the river ? (damn phone!!)

I loved Elias and Finch together. After they confronted "the Voice", I thought that Elias would shoot him, and was surprised that  they let "the Voice" drive away. But as they watch the car go down the street I thought that Elias was up to something. I'm glad that he was.
I think that Finch's reaction to that explosion was one of horror, but horror mixed with a cold realization and acceptance that "this is how things are now."

    No sentiment from Gibbs, Really?

IMO, for Gibbs, he was virtually blubbering!

But hey, they sure did shoot Trent Kort up real good.

Loved that. of course, Kort had to reach for his gun before they all shot (and I'm glad that he did!)

  3. ending #1:they enter the loft, castle cooks breakfast..."happily ever after"

ending #2: Caleb (?) shoots Castle is Shot and shoots Beckett...all3 (or some combination) die

ending #3: empty loft zapping into a "7 years later" happy family ending...

    HUH??

but that eyeroll of hers during that cutaway to her when Kate and Richard say I love you just bugs me.

Maybe it's me, but I saw the eyeroll as having 2 possible (and contradictory) interpretations:

    1) she heard the ILY from Castle-and reacted as it would be out of character for him to say that out loud with Alexis in the room.

    but

    2) Was it a bit of an ominous eye movement-was her face hiding evil intent (I know  too weird!-hopefully)

  5. 1) Did anyone else have a bit of trouble understanding some of the Brit's dialogue?

    2) I hope that they don't kill Ziva.

    3) Fornell must survive

    4) Emily did inherit  many of Diane's mouthiness and other personality traits. (Even Gibbs noticed! )

Don't kill Toby!!!!   They've been building towards it all season and last week got a major dose of it but this episode it seemed like they went out of their way to highlight the Gibbs-McGee relationship.  I missed Tony though..he just brings a lightness to the show that Tim doesn't have.

I don't care if its acting,,,military family reunions always get to me

he saw a muddy footprint.  If they make Tony the mole I will never watch the show again!

    Thanks for the info.

As I watched the scene unfold, I knew that Tobias had seen "something", and was trying to subtly clue in the Lady agent to "get ready". Clever, but it looked to me like he talked way too long, and they weren't ready for the first shots fired at them.

  7. 1) NOT FORNELL!

    2) What did Fornell see in Gibbs refrigerator that tipped him off?

    3)  Who is the mole? How many people knew about: Bringing the lady agent to the U.S., and that Gibbs' house would be the safe house?

This was a pretty decent episode. I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I didn't know what was coming.

There were moments-not many-when I thought that it was "our old show".

But then I remembered the recent crap.

  9. Monday night I watched this episode and thought "Meh", a reaction that I had all too often during this season. Afterwards, I came here and read the news about Stana (and Tamala) not returning.

Yesterday, on the reruns on TNT (?) i watched "Knockdown" from Season 3.

It was sad to see how that great show (S3) has been eviscerated.

  10. I realize that suspension of disbelief is crucial to enjoying this shoe (which I do!), but did Happy say that the plane weighed 600 pounds? If so, why not tow it from the building using one, or both of the large powerful SUVs?

(Of course, that would take away the carousel trick. :)  )

Was really nice seeing this side of Senior. Was also nice for Tony to see this side of Senior.

I agree. At first, I thought it would be a "sleazy Sr.'s chickens come home to roost" subplot. So glad that it wasn't.

Now -will Tony's improving bond with Senior come into play as they write MW out ?

For now it's fine that Lucy is in charge of the DEO but the best part of this show was the relationship between Kara, Alex and "Hank".  They better not be sidelined for long.

    I worry about that too.

It's almost like a reboot/restructuring of the show.

That said, I liked the ep.

Lucifer figures out about Amendial spying on him through Linda, quickly figures out that Maze did it, and so now he's done with her.

Some have said that Maze looked pissed off when Luci said that to her. I read it as she realized that she went too far, and that Luci would be looking for extreme vengeance.

Regarding the spilled booze, at first I thought that Maze deliberately missed the glass, as a thinly veiled insult to Dr. Linda. I guess i missed the continuity error.

  14. I really liked the episode.

A question regarding  the daughter's (who I loved as a character) screen time, and the repeated examples that showed how much of a "detail person" she was.

Were they more than was needed for the story, and could this be a setup for future appearances?

  15. I'm sure someone else's come up with this question, but I just started following this show. In fact this is the first  thread I have read for Lucifer.

Has the possibility that the "999"  key is really a"666" key been discussed?

  16. I want to confirm what I thought I saw:

When "the resistance" entered the train after they blew it up, was the "VIP" in some sort of space suit/deep sea diving metal suit, and did it seem to have somewhat human proportions?

  17.

I also liked that you could see the hurt on Kara's face before she decided to forgive Alex with the hug.  Great scene.

I liked the scene too, but I had one horrible second- when SG reached out for Alex-of thinking "please hug Alex, please don't twist her head off".

  18. Due to a weird work schedule, I missed all the eps last fall, and only saw the last few in yesterday's "Blindspot Marathon", but when I saw David and Patterson (?) at the food truck, where he had rearranged the menu board to say lovey things, I looked at him and said "you poor bastard, you're a dead man"....was it that obvious in any earlier episodes that he was in?
