I feel like between Franco/Nina, Jason/Sam and Maxie/Nathan SOMEONE is going to get pregnant. With talk of a GYN I think we know who ME new character will be.
Since MS used a surrogate IRL and given Maxie's past I really thought show might be going to do a rerun of Maxie being Nina/Franco's surrogate.
Don't shoot me but I did find Franco's bike accident scene pretty adorable.<skulks to the corner and hides face>

Not that I have any desire to see Liz with Franco in any capacity, but Jason seems to think that Liz should just have to go through this alone, and not have any friends with her.
I have to exception to this b/c Jason acted WAY better than he had to about Nik being involved and didn't seem to have much problem with Nik being in his son's room despite the fact he just weeks ago tried to wrongly put him in prison and used blackmail to try to get him to drop the ELQ lawsuit.
I don't think Jason wants Liz to not have friends or support just not Franco.

I actually didn't hate when Sonny and Ava were being civil and really want the Avery custody story to just go away and they just co parent.
That said Ava was her total bitch self to the poor nanny. Of course your child is more important than her mother. Good for the nanny standing up for herself. Two-faced Ava works my last nerve.
I did also LOL at Sonny trying to explain to Dante he'd kill FOR his family. I really think Dante of all people would get that already since isn't that why Sonny shot him? Protecting his "family".
That scene of Sonny and Avery at the end was adorable.
Jason and Sonny should just open a PC daycare and always only do scenes with children. Forget the mob. Tiny Tots should be their new calling.

Here is my stab at Claudette. She was Nathan's nanny (b/c come on Madeline was not all about raising a child) who he had a crush on. when he became a teenager she went all Mrs. Robinson on him and he thought he was in love. He had plans to run away a marry her but at the last minute found out she only wanted his money. Madeline paid her off to go away. That sounds embarrassing enough to not want to tell Maxie.
I mean it HAS to be something bad seeing how he has met Spin AND had to deal with that dunkelmonkey......It will make some sense surely....I'm almost postive...right you guys....hello?...Bueller?

Ugh, it's like the guy who plays Dillon was like, what can I do to make myself seem even more bland? I know, shave the sides of my head! And somewhere, future Emmy winner Bryan is crying in the corner that some people can afford to waste hair like that.
Your whole post was golden, but THIS part had me ROTF for a full minute. I can so picture this except you forgot to say crying in the corner holding his wig thinking some people can't afford to waste hair like that. Thanks for my funny of the day!

My gawd outside of JaSam that show was a hamster wheel to nowhere.
I have officially cashed in my Julexis card. Seeing a whole hour of how many different naked positions we can be in. No Thanks. I FF after about 5 mins of that.
Franco doesn't bother me much b/c I don't have history with him and I find him kind of smoopie sometimes, but today...that was ...something.
I don't even have any love of Liz but I cringed at the idea Franco has her number on speed dial....eeek!

Well, Nik is actually Jake's uncle via Lucky. And he has been besties with Liz since they were teens. So he has been there long before Jason even met Liz.
I guess you mean step-uncle since Jason is Jake's father not Lucky. He hasn't been in Jake's life longer than his own father so I don't get where you were going with this. A step-uncle doesn't trump a step-mother in regards to Jake. Nik's relationship with Liz isn't relative to him seeing Jake and Jason being okay with it.
Lucky may have raised Jake as his own in the past but the way the story is being told now Jason is very much his father in his life. So if he can be okay with Nik being around Jake Liz can be okay with Sam being around Jake.

I mean Nik went in Jake's room with Liz and he tried to have Jason put in prison for attempted murder. If Jason can be okay with Nik being around his son then Liz can be okay with Sam being around her son.

Danny and Jake are brothers same as Cam and Aiden are his brothers so if it is awesome for Cam and Aiden to come see him why not Danny?
If Liz wants the best for Jake then being a part of his dad's life includes his dad's wife. Why should Sam NOT come and bring Danny?
If it really is about Jake then Liz shouldn't have to be coddled by Sam keeping away. Liz isn't the one in the hospital.
Sam should also be able to support her husband dealing with his son's issue without having to deal with Liz's bitchface everytime they are together especially considering what LIZ tried to do to their family.

The whole Anna/Andre/Jordan thing is clunky because I still feel like we don't really know Andre that well. And he and Jordan have an undefined relationship. I feel like he's closer to Anna emotionally even though she's his patient, which I would still have a problem then if they got together. Don't date your patients.
Actually part of the scene was to make it clear she wasn't his patient. She isn't paying him and he was off duty when they were talking. He just has really good calm people skills and knows a lot about Anna's issues from when he was a colleague helping she and Robert track Carlos.

Ya'll Andre is da bomb! I love him. I can't believe these writers are actually writing a therapist who is authentic sounding(I know I know enjoy it while it lasts). Most decent therapists are more a sounding board and allow the patient to work out the best course with some well placed input and don't judge or preach. Plus he is fine as heck and made me enjoy Anna. He and Anna have mad chemistry. I'm glad she isn't an actual patient of his;)
Sam and Jason straight up adorable. BM has always been great with kids but never with DNAJ so that says something about someone. I was hoping he'd look a little different after his "surgery"...sigh.
I love my det. Special Kitty but this Claudette story has fail written all over it. I want him to drop Maxie like a bad habit at this point.
Tracy's memory loss was interesting until this seizure. What was that she looked like a bad bride of Frankinstein imitation.
Also tell me why I care about Nik and Hayden. Though I did LOL at Liz saying she kind of hated Nik's wife...heh! don't we all.
Liz reel in the bitch face. ugh!
I hope this Anna's lost child reveal is sooner rather than later. I can't take Nupatrickdocgriffin and his puppy-dog stalking for a year.

If you read my recent wishlist, you would know I am not a feminist (at least by mainstream definition) . However, I don't think Jordan is a shrew (at least not a complete shrew). I think the only time she really acted like a shrew to Andre when Morgan was arrested and I thought she had a good reason. Morgan has a diagnosed mental disorder and is choosing not to take his medication, which led to his current predicament, with him taking a gun and shooting it. She has to come down firm or she could lose the respect of the police force she is now in charge off, but she did yield somewhat, and now Morgan managed to get out of his restraints. Not only is she a woman, unlike Anna, she doesn't have the history with Port Charles. I didn't enjoy Anna losing her job for FV/RC creation, but Jordan needs to err on the side of being too strict than being lax. If she was a man, I don't think she would be judged as harshly, maybe called a bit of a jerk. As for her and Valerie, considering Val's last relationship and how it affected her and Dante's careers in law enforcement and her knowing Curtis, I don't think it is crazy to try and warn Val away.
My issue with Jordan is Andre was doing his job and in general police do not keep out of control mentally unstable subjects in jail without first taking them to the hospital she acted like he was asking her to do something totally out of the question she had never heard of before and was doing HIM a favor in allowing it. I could have better understood her point of view if it had been Michael or Morgan's parents asking to taking him to GH but it was a trained professional that Michael had rightly called, not to mention Jordan had previously been dating the guy and knows him to be a very well meaning person.
Add to that the way she was acting about being left out of the loop on the sting when she did the same thing to the PCPD when she was doing an undercover sting. She is acting shrewish. To me being shrewish as a female is the same as a male being an ass. If she was male I'd call her an ass.
I actually think calling her a shrew is an UO. I think in general most people agree with you not me.
It mostly saddens me b/c I used to love BAMF Jordan and I just find her so disagreeable and not very awesome anymore:(
Maybe it's the police commissioner job that ruins people.

I really liked the Morgan roof stuff and the end shot with Michael, Sonny and Carly was well done.
The show is really missing the mark getting sidetracked with Carly and the guns. Sonny walking or not walking has nothing to do with the guns or Kiki being shot. Sonny didn't bring in the guns and saying Sonny walking would have kept the guns from being brought in is ridiculous. The real issue at hand is her son and his new mental health issue. By sidetracking her with the guns she is taken out of the real story. He is her son and she had barely participated in his breakdown. She's more worried about Kiki? She should be more mad at Ava and her son's mental illness than Sonny.
On top of that the whole handwashing thing was weird and uncomfortable. First she wouldn't have hurt her hands enough to that many bandages in one washing. Second even if nupatrickdoc was shirtless when he first came upon her, he had to go get all those bandage supplies any normal person would have put a shirt on first. It was totally odd to be shirtless the whole time.
Jordan being so smug and bitchy is very disappointing. Plus I seem to remember her being undercover and doing wrong and NOT telling the PCPD too. So hypocrite much? I think Anna graciously covered for her murdering that guy and she had no heads up . I don't even like Paul but I liked her being taken down a peg or two.
I thought Maxie and my det Special Kitty were adorable but really show another interloper? ugh

Ava being Ava did not move me. She is so two-faced, I'm sure she'll be back to bad bitch screwing even her own child over to get ahead soon enough.

I actually thought he was worried about her before that but asked Jordan's advice and she told him to give her space so he was trying to do that.

I'm also easy to please unless I don't like a character then they can NEVER do right.
My favorite part of Dante going to find Lulu was carrying her purse. I'm a sucker for a guy carrying his wife's purse. It is so emasculating I find it adorable.

Nothing ever does happen until it happens. His presidency isn't over yet, plus there may have been threats that the public hasn't been told about. Note that there are official things about the Kennedy assassination that will never see the light of day in any of our lifetimes and pretty much everyone has seen the Zapruder footage from over 50 years ago.
I personally have shared Dre's anxiety about potential danger to President Obama because of the huge, almost unparalleled historical significance (in the US) it would have. There's a lot of real, visceral, racist hate out there for him and I can imagine there's no shortage of nutbags who would eagerly give up their lives to achieve a particular horrific place in history.
Thanks for your reply. I guess in general a president can and has been assassinated so to me the office itself causes fear of assassination. Also the office itself causes nutbags and haters to say hateful things. I don't know that race is the real issue for Obama more than being the president.
I guess what I was trying to say is his argument that racism lead to that fear when he walked in the open it almost showed the opposite that maybe due to past bad and valid reasons the fear is over inflated in today's climate b/c that fear of Obama being assassinated has been unfounded so far.

I guess I just see life as more grey. If someone is truly sorry and acts as such I'm going to let go of my grudge and anger about the bad stuff too. Dante cheated and lied and he feels terrible about it and has said if he could go back and do it again he would make a different choice. Dante is a good person in general and Lulu loves him. I don't need him to flog himself and be ground into the dirt to forgive him. He also is a hero and saves people. I won't begrudge him the hero role just b/c he made poor choice in the past he regrets. I thought Lulu was more touched Dante cared enough to go to the boat and look for her more than the actual saving. Of course the first reaction of most people would be to save someone but Dante cared and worried enough about Lulu to go look for her in the first place. That is romantic to me.

As a white person I hope this doesn't come off wrong I truly mean it to be curious.
I understand the feeling Dre was trying to get across with the Obama thing, but in the end NOTHING has ever happened to Obama so isn't that saying he is a lot safer than everyone thought initially?
I know the worry was there but reality is nothing have ever happened.
Second I wanted to listen to JR point of view but that outfit looked so distracting I could not take him seriously. Donuts on a show about police. Really?
I was also wondering about all the the slightly racist digs with the food menus. What is the big thing with Asian food and Chipotle?
Maybe I'm overthinking it.

I did agree with Michael about Sonny hiding he could walk. meh no big deal. Of course I felt the same way when Nina did it. I just don't see lying about walking as that big a deal.

I know lots of people don't like that Dante saved Lulu or that Jason saved Sam, but I like them both. I'm an old school "soap romantic" and that is old school soap troupe. I don't care how independent you are most romantics have this notion they want their man to save them in danger. I don't think the writers doing this is misogynist at all. It would be different if Sam and Lulu just melted in a puddle and that was it, but these writers showed Sam to still be badass in face of a gunman when Jason wasn't there and they are taking their relationship slow and rebuilding it. Same with Lulu. She appreciated Dante saving her but she didn't jump right back in his arms. I mean one act doesn't define us. The saving didn't define Dante but the cheating doesn't either. He is both and Lulu and he will have to work their way back together. I'm okay with both these couples.

I guess I need someone to explain how what Morgan did at the docks is so "bad" that he would go to prison for it. It has something to do with threatening to shoot Dixon the big bad gun lord who took a church full of people hostage. so um yah that sounds like something worthy of prison.
And he has been in the hospital at least a day or two so sorry but he'd have been given enough drugs to not be this manic by now. He truly comes across as an ungrateful ass more than bipolar at this point.
I also can't understand why Carly isn't with him more. Since she had her hand washing accident she hasn't been shown with him. I understand why Sonny's home with Avery but why is Carly leaving Michael to babysit Morgan? I did LOL at his line to Michael about being tied up and not in a good way. I think Michael was like TMI dude TMI.heh!
