  1. Yeah, do we know why Ty was missing from so many episodes this season?  Was the actor just busy doing other things?  Or is he trying to reduce his commitment to this show?  I love Amy, Jack, Tim, and Georgie, but the show just isn't the same without Ty!  Amy and Ty are the core of this show for me!

Lastly, it was cool to see Toby Stephens and Sibongile Mlambo (Angela).  Both of whom were on Black Sails. I was waiting for them to share a scene but no such luck.

They did share one brief scene - when Angela showed up on the Jupiter with a gun to take down the Robot.  John tries to talk her out of it and then stands aside as she starts firing.

Well, I binged  ten episodes over two days, so I guess that means I liked it. I liked that they've resolved everything with The Resolute. Everybody not on the Jupiter 2 (and poor Evan) made it back, and I assume they'll all now go to Alpha Centauri. I like the introduction of the alien technology, which I assume they won't be quite able to control and will take them all over and will allow them to be truly lost in space.

I don't think they'll ever be able to get to Alpha Centauri.  One of the first episodes showed a warm hole (or similar?) opening up and sucking the Resolute and the Jupiters into it - that's how they ended up on that planet in the first place.  Now that the Jupiter 2 has jumped away, the Resolute will be trapped in that area of space, which is possibly in another galaxy entirely, according to Maureen (based on that space chart she saw in the alien ship).

I actually thought the kid who played Will was a pretty good actor!  He really made me feel for his relationship with the Robot!  I was heart broken for both of them when he told Robot to walk off that cliff.  Considering the Robot barely talked and had no real facial expression, the Will actor really had to do all the work making those scenes moving, and he DID.  I thought he did a great job!

Similar to others, I thought Dr. Smith was an interesting character and the actor did a great job with what she got, but her motivations were totally all over the place.  For someone who just wants to survive, she was sure doing a bang-up job trying to screw things up for herself!

  4. Okay, I think I confused the Morrisons with the Fosters originally.  The name of the thread "sister wives who actually like each other" made me think it was Enoch's wives, since they actually DO seem to like each other.  It was pretty clear from this episode that Beth and Marina can't stand each other.  Only Suzie is happy and she probably ignores the other two half the time!

  5. Definitely agree!  This show looks much more authentic than Seeking Sister Wives.  I find it interesting how well the Morrison wives get along - I wonder if that's because it was really the first wife who basically chose wife #2 to join the family and it kind of seemed like the husband didn't have anything to do with it, haha.

ETA: Do I have the right family for this, haha?

  6. The fact that there was a previous wife for the Alldredge family actually explains a lot.  The fact that Sharis and Vanessa are wives #2 and #3 explains so much why they get along so well!!  It always seems like it's wife #1 and #2 that have the most issues, so the fact that wife #1 is out of the picture could explain why this family is working so well!  None of these wives went from essentially monogamy to polygamy.

I thought she was talking about why she doesn't want kids when she she was delighting us with the "stuff coming out of my vagina" imagery.

No, she was saying how her ex told her there was something wrong with her and she should see a doctor because of (presumably) normal mucus that her vagina produces.

I really wish we'd been given the opportunity to view for ourselves the actual Erika leaving Teddi's house scene.  If she did indeed just leave without a word, I can understand why the ladies would find that behavior strange.  But if she took even one of them aside and told them why she was leaving it would've alleviated all the nonsense that followed.  Why didn't Bravo show us that?

Bravo didn't show us because, according to Teddi's blog, Erika left after the camera crew left!  So there probably wasn't any footage of her leaving abruptly.

I'm not sure if they leave other cameras behind or something that captured some of the conversation about it as well as the late-night partying.  I don't know how that part works if the camera crew has left.

So once again I've stopped the episode because Alice has acquired a kitten.  Dammit; it's even younger than the fluffy blue number from last week.  I'm not going to be happy about this am I?

I hope the actor likes cats though; fun day at work and all.

Nothing happens to this cat, I promise!

Cutting up your wedding dress and turning it into flowers is not "something borrowed." Borrowing something means that you will return it after you use it. That's why "something borrowed" at a wedding is usually something like a piece of jewelry or maybe a grandparents' handkerchief or something. Then you give it back after the wedding. Mykelti is not going to give the fabric flowers back after the wedding and it will magically become a wedding dress again.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe Christine is making a bouquet with these flowers and she's hoping that her other daughters will ALSO use that same bouquet - so it's borrowed if she's planning on taking it back.

And speaking of pasta, why would Lisa go through the trouble of getting Scheana a plate of pasta and not bringing her a fork?  Or, when at SUR, is penne supposed to be eaten with your fingers??

It wasn't pasta.  It was a croissant sandwich and fries.

  12. I don't really care about all the interpersonal relationship stuff, but I am LOVING the team's dynamic with each other and the missions they go on.

Ray (#2) is lying about his shoulder, right??  He never actually went to see the doctor and get an MRI in the last episode, correct?

I like that the team is coming around to liking Clay and it's good to see him in action and that he really does keep his cool and makes smart decisions, so it shows that he IS worthy of being on this team and isn't just an arrogant a-hole.

I do NOT understand Clay and Stella.  Neither of them seem THAT into their relationship.  I always got the impression they just have fun together and maybe the sex is good.  But now Clay is proposing??  What??  Ugh, never mind, I don't care.  Show more of the SEALs together!

  13. I'm not surprised.  I kind of assumed the back-to-back episodes was to get them all aired and over with sooner and knew it probably wasn't a good sign.  And with the death of Allanon, I'm less interested in another season.  But I am still bummed.  This show always reminded me a little of Hercules, Xena, and Legends of the Seeker, so I'm sad that it wasn't a little better and didn't last a little longer.  These types of shows just don't do well anymore it seems.
