Angie & Vinny - they ran a good race this leg.
I think you mean Angie & Danny.

Plus things like Advil aren’t usually in stock over there. They use paracetamol.
FYI - paracetamol is the same thing as Tylenol.

I don't mind them not sending someone home in the final four if it really is too close to call, but that wasn't the case here. There was definitely a top 2 and a bottom 2 - Nickey or Alec should have been out.

I don’t think of myself as a big spender, but I’ve come to appreciate the value of buying a pair of scissors for every drawer, a remote for either side of the couch, a flashlight for every room…
I have reading glasses in every room.

I like FLW and have been to both Taliesin and Taliesin West but 30 minutes in and they'd not yet stepped foot into the kitchen. It's like they lost of the plot.
I guess since the judging took a lot less time than usual they had to use filler for a 90-minute episode.

Interesting. I contacted JTMacc99 first and was told he/she didn't think it would be a problem, but that all but one mod had left this site so he really didn't know. I'm thinking that with only one moderator no one is actually going to keep up with anything being posted.

@SweetSable googling with the word Reddit should take you to what seems to be a heavily moderated thread on the most recent topics of that sort.
Thanks. I generally don't go to Reddit but I'll have to give it a try for this.

Since The Royals forum has been closed, I'm hoping it's okay to post here. I'm just wondering what other folks think about all the goings on with William and Kate - her surgery, the photoshopped picture that's causing such a stir, the affair rumors popping up again, etc.
I haven't heard much about King Charles and his cancer treatment lately. I do hope it's going well.

What in the heck was that pairs competition I watched at the U.S. Championships? I hadn't realized that pairs skating was a dying art in the U.S.
Am I correct that how the teams do at the World Championships this year determine how many teams we can send next year?

Kamila Valieva has been banned for 4 years over doping and her 2022 Olympic results have been disqualified.

Sigh. You can’t even browse through ALL the shows to see if you caught all of yours because they only list the “popular” shows under the Comedy, Drama, etc. headings.
If you click on the category heading it lists all of the shows under that category.

Did anyone watch the 2nd episode last night? I thought it was a ridiculous challenge, and that none of the kids did very well. Not the best group of bakers the show's had.

Katura or whatever the heck her name is though can go any time now. She's a completely one-note character with her unhealthy Bruce obsession.
She probably isn't one note but for some reason that's all the editors want us to see. And I'm on her side- I think Bruce is annoying as hell.

Does Sean realize he doesn't get to go home? What a dumb reason to quit.
I hope his husband tells him he’s a dumbass.
MY husband told him he was a dumbass. Well, if yelling at the TV very loudly counts as telling him . . .

Bottom Two: I didn’t think Prajje was that bad except for the ugly turtle neck. I thought he’d get to stay over Laurence.
I hated the turtle neck too but I really liked the rest of his design/painted fabric. I presume he went rather than Laurence because he's been in the bottom a lot and she' been in the top a lot.

Jumpsuits, Jumpsuits, Jumpsuits.
I watch the Below Deck shows. These people are run ragged and barely have 2 minutes to go to the bathroom. Jumpsuits are NOT bathroom friendly.
I've never understood the appeal of jumpsuits or rompers for this very reason.

The most surprising result to me, though, was that the judges like Kara Saun's dress. All I could see was a Standard Poodle who'd just come back from the groomer.
I also thought of a poodle - glad someone else said it! And I don't even like that look on poodles.

And I wish, when Christian does his walk-throughs of the workroom that he'd visit each designer, like Tim did.
I'm sure he does but some of it gets edited out.

I actually like Anrika better than John so I'm not unhappy that she stayed but I think the decision was questionable.
John made a cake which was completely against the rules of this challenge - that alone is good enough reason to send him home.

Rainbow Flag
Created in 1978 by Gilbert Baker, the iconic Pride Rainbow flag originally had eight stripes. The colors included pink to represent sexuality, red for healing, yellow for sun, green for serenity with nature, turquoise for art, indigo for harmony and violet for spirit. In the years since, the flag has been reduced to six colors: the flag no longer uses pink, and the turquoise and indigo have been replaced with royal blue.
I was hoping someone would do a tie-dye decoration using the flag colors.

The new season of Project Runway All Starts starts June 15th. I was scrolling through the list of contestants and was thinking it would be a good season, until I saw Hester Sunshine on the list. Hopefully she'll be one of the first to leave.

Why did that other ransack the purse while no one else seemed to see it?
A purse sitting on the counter was very out of place - it would have jumped out at me, too.

The person I want to win Top Chef is someone who doesn't settle - Gabri tracks down an authentic Mexican run shop for his ingredients; Buddha holds out for langoustines; but Sara goes with liver, even though sweetbreads are certainly available in Paris, since the French, like American "southerners", are not afraid of the "icky" bits.
Were they limited in where they could shop? If so, sweetbreads may not have been available at their only shopping options.

She didn't call it stamppot but Casey from Top Chef many, many years ago made a winning dish of creamy mashed potatoes, ramps, and sausage during one episode. I have never forgotten that dish. My favorite comfort food is to have a bowl of mashed potatoes with anything mixed in with them, vegetables, meats, cheese, topped with Carolina Treet. In a bowl eaten with a tablespoon like a toddler, lol.
What is Carolina Treet?
Apparently Carolina Treet is a brand of North Carolina style barbecue sauce. I've never heard of it but NC style BBQ sauce is my husband's favorite, so I might just have to try it.

I LOVED Dick Button's commentary. I still miss him.

S21.E07: Sausage Race
in Top Chef
I believe what AriAu meant was that no one on the team with the most votes were up for elimination for THIS challenge, even though 2 of those contestants lost in their head-to-head battles, and that all 5 losers of the head-to-head battles should have been up for elimination regardless of which team they were on.
