Issue no. 2. The police chased a suspect. Suspect went to Native land. Police just turned around and let her go? Even if they 100% had no jurisdiction in Native land, should they not have waited outside the boundary while getting the warrant? It was way, way to easy for Max to escape.

And when Grey was talking to Hoffman later, it seemed like the cops didn't even know Max was in the truck with him, which was just ridiculous. Also, I would hope any police operating in an area that included a reservation would be more familiar with tribal law.

  2. I'm not sure how I feel about this show after two episodes (non-reader). It's not that I don't think the actors are doing a good job, it's just that everyone is so...grim. Grim and serious. I'm really longing for a character with some panache, some joie de vivre.

That being said, I have to at least tip my hat to any show that makes me mutter out loud, "I can't tell what her monkey really thinks about all this."

I was only half paying attention, but was Kristen looking at scars on her wrists during her therapy session

I think it was bruises from where the guy in the interrogation room had grabbed her.

Did anyone understand the explanation for Kristen putting the 'can you read this?' sign on the ceiling? Was she saying that there was research that said dreamers can't read text during nightmares? Huh? Because I swear I have.

I could swear I have, too. In fact, I'd almost put money on it. Does that mean we have superhuman powers? 😉

I don't mind Hester at all, it turns out. I've been digging her nuttiness and her absolute dedication to her wacky vision. She actually seems like a warm and down to earth person under it all.

Gotta say same. She drove me bananas at first, and looking at her whackadoodle personal outfits is still exhausting sometimes, but I've really grown to like her personality. She seems genuinely nice and humble, and I think it's telling that the other designers really seem to like her as well. Do I want her to win? Probably not, unless her collection unexpectedly wows me, but I'm pleasantly surprised to be fine with her being in the final four.

I don't know if it's because I was so tired last night, or what, but I found myself a bit bored. I understand the point of setting up the history or Adnan's and Hae's relationship; but I kind of felt like there was WAY too much of that. I felt a bit like I was watching a young adult Netflix original or something. This is only 4 parts, and I felt like too much of part 1 was devoted to their relationship. I don't know....it just seemed like overkill.

I was right there with you. I was riveted to Serial, but I almost fell asleep twice trying to watch this. And the animation is just...no. I want it to stop, please.

I like Seth Aaron, but on the runway, I kept expecting him to invite me to board his yacht. What was with that neckerchief?

    Ha! Good one.

Am I crazy, though...I could swear in one of those montages of upcoming scenes throughout the season I saw Seth Aaron having some sort of tiff with Michelle. And that hasn't happened yet. So I was really suprised he was the elimated one. Maybe it was just editing shenanigans and they never bothered airing that argument, I guess.

I wanted Jasper to win because I'm already tired of the super-short skirts/dresses that a person can't even begin to sit down in. His at least was a decent length. Michelle's was pretty and not *too* short, but it would have been hell on the ass to sit on all that broken plastic, I imagine.

Seth Aaron is getting pretty full of himself. I wouldn’t mind seeing him brought down a notch.

He's been designing forever, it seems like, and I tend to like almost everything he does, so I'll agree to disagree with you. That being said, I kind of snorted when he was touting his relationship with QVC.

Also, I liked the first dress he made so much better than the second, and I wish he'd sent that one down the runway so I could have seen more of it.

My only thing about the ending is why erase everyone's memories and separate everyone, except Dutch & Johnny?  The Lady does know they share a really strong bond - no matter what kind it is - right??

I found this really interesting as well. Was she trying to do them a kindness? Especially Johnny, since she made such a big point of knowing how lonely he is? And is she having D'Avin look for Jaq because she can't find him? Does that mean her reach only extends to Westerley? Because if it extended everywhere, she'd know where he was, right? Even if she couldn't find Jaq himself because his brain is a special snowflake, she'd be able to access Delle Seyah's memories.

Honestly I kind of liked Billy's shack- I thought he worked his theme well.  Khiem's roof was neat, but I found his the most underwhelming in terms of "crafting" - the roof was done with the help of the crew and the only other thing he really built was the bed.

Billy's was my favorite. I would hang out in that shed. And ITA about Khiem's shed. I will also take the unpopular table for one and say I didn't really care for his lamp. Something about the fronds looked kind of janky to me. Normally I love his stuff, but not this week. And I agree with the poster before who found Jo's shed underwhelming. Nothing new there, although it did look cute, I guess.
