I personally didn't see this as Toby being sexist. I don't think he was protecting Happy because he thinks the man needs to protect the woman, but more simply as he was protecting the person he loves. I think if she were to one day do the same for him, he would be fine with it.

I actually like the idea of Toby and Happy together, but I also want to see the relationship evolving slowly over time. It seems true to Happy's character that it would take some time for her to become open to the idea.

I'm very curious to learn more about Sylvester's childhood. I definitely get the impression that Walter knows the most about it, although I'm sure Toby has it figured out as well. I love that they treat him as the younger brother of the group. They may tease him here or there (like when Happy showed Toby the video of El Guapo dancing, despite Sylvester's clear embarrassment) but they seem to overall be very supportive and protective. I'm also enjoying his relationship with Megan so far. It's very sweet and I'm interested to see where they go with it. I've also been wondering about the order in which they all came to join Scorpion. I was thinking Sylvester was probably first, but if I remember correctly, Toby mentioned to Happy that he's known him since he was 16. So either Toby was already around or he joined soon after Walter found Sylvester.

I like this show more each week. It's often completely ridiculous, but it's also a lot of fun and I'm loving all of the character development we get in each episode. I agree that Walter's whole "I don't like physical contact" thing is obviously not completely true. He has been affectionate with both Ralph and his sister and I remember an episode where Sylvester hugged him and he didn't seem to be bothered by it. I suspect it mainly applies to Paige because he obviously has feelings for her and it would threaten his conviction that romantic love is imaginary. I loved that Paige went to talk to Toby. I like that they are continuing to develop that friendship. I have a feeling that Toby will be influential in Paige and Walter eventually starting a relationship. Maybe subtly helping Walter with his issues. Loved seeing Happy showing a little jealousy when Toby was flirting with the CIA tech girl and I'm pretty sure he was doing it mainly to get under her skin. My other favorite moment with Happy was at the end, when they were all staring at the plane and Toby and Walter were discussing love, you could see Sylvester off to the side looking like he was close to a panic attack. Happy was next to him, looking concerned, and she reached over and touched his arm. Love these sweet little character moments.
