  1. Oh. Ha ha ha. My sweet, precious bundle threw a block at your eye - TWICE.

Do I, as his MOTHER, even mildly reprimand the precious bundle?  Of course not. I will just smile and giggle, which will reinforce that his action was OK, and then get some ice for your eye.

    Jesus H. Christ!!!

  2. Hello from the shallow end of the pool. I thought MH looked particularly bad tonight. She looked haggard, and I can’t decide if that was done on purpose as she now has PTSD post the Noah kidnapping or if she just  looked bad.

Her hair, in particular, is too long, too flat against her big, square face, and looked unwashed.

    I’ll swim away now.

  3. Jesus Christ on a crutch. Virtual Reality rehab!!!!  And she has to submit to it to be allowed to attend the latest "dual-diagnosis center"  vamping for free publicity. I assume their admission criteria consists of ascertaining whether the check will clear.

I dont remember the name of the financial book or the author, but I wonder it is was published by "mysonJay"?

  4. I agree that Nancy should be told about the tubal ligation, but:

    1.  As a previous poster said, she would not have been Natalie’s patient, so that was weird except that in TV hospitals, doctors seem to follow patients from department to department in a way that would never happen IRL

    2.  Natalie’s rationale of (paraphrasing) “she had no say in her past, she should have a say in her future.”  HUH???  What did she think was going to happen? Nancy would have the tubal ligation reversed and have the children she always wanted???  Looked like she was already well past her fertile years.

Bye, Robin.  Sarah can go anytime

  5. OMG. Those douchebag frat boys couldn’t even stop swaying during their presentation. Definitely gold diggers, offering 1.5%!!!!

if they get a 40% open rate on email, they should just go into business writing email subject lines. No overhead, no inventory, and corporations would pay fortunes to get a high email open rate.   Of course, there’s no way they are getting that high a rate unless they only email their friends who invested in the company

And “elitist” was the perfect description.

Hey guys- did you know Lee Ann is pregnant?  I don’t think they've mentioned it. she’s pregnant, FYI. And engaged. And pregnant.

    Charlotte?

That’s exactly what I was coming here to post.

  7. I thought this was awful. A 3-year-old could have figured it out within the first five minutes. MH was downright insufferable.

At least, other than Finn and Barba, no one in the cast went hungry what with all that scenery chewing.

In the old days the reliance on the ensemble really hid how bad an actress MH is

  8. What a great “mom” today. Uses the HEALTH INSURANCE card to buy her kidzes’ breakfasted “at McDonalds, Sonic”, etc.  If that’s how she feeds them, she’s going to need that card for medical purposes sooner rather than later.

A little OT:  does anyone else chuckle when JJ refers to a purse as a pocketbook (which she pronounces “pock-a-book”)?  Soooo old fashioned. That’s what my mom and aunts called them. BTW, I am less than a decade younger than JJ, and I haven’t used the word “pocketbook” in forever.

You guys are all optimists, the illiterate litigants we see will never change. In fact, the English language is accommodating this butchery into normal usage. The barbarians are inside the gates. Perfect example: nauseous means causing nausea, nauseated means having seen something nauseous and then puked; literate people have already lost that battle. By the way, Get off my lawn! As a Clint Eastwood fan, I have three M-1s so I can do it right.

Between you and I, I could care less

    Your welcome.

  10. Hello. I have a question. Let me begin by saying that I honestly know nothing about autism other than what I have seen portrayed in movies and on TV. I hope that my question does not come off as disrespectful in any way because that is certainly not my intent.

What I am wondering is:  it seems that everyone around Joe indulges all his behaviors without regard to how they might affect anyone else. For example, at the show, they had the audience wait while the entire family was brought onstage, and then Joe turned his back on the audience to perform. Putting aside Maurice’s collapse, that situation would have been the most memorable thing about the show, and would overshadow all the other kids’ performances.

Also, I don’t understand how not trying to modify Joe’s behaviors is going to help him as he grows up and has to be able to function at some level in “normal” society.

Again, I hope I have not offended anyone. My questions arise purely out of curiosity and my ignorance.

  11. What were they thinking replacing the lovely, elegant Bebe Neuwirth with such an over-the-top, loud, knows everything about every subject, “edgy” character. Don’t know her name or the character’s name.

The girl in the iPad ad who doesn't know what a computer is, is Hannah Alligood, who is one of the actors in the TV series "Better Things", on FX network.  The actress who plays her mother was nominated for an Emmy last year.  Hannah Alligood's character is gender questioning on the show.

That’s interesting to know. I originally thought the child in the ad was a boy. Then, in one airing, I noticed the child was wearing nail polish. My first thought was that  it might be a child in transition.

Modern Xmas Tree guy lost me when he said "with your guys's help". Can't stand it when people say "your guys's". IT MAKES NO SENSE.

The vinyl player looks very cool, but it seems like a very expensive novelty. The point of listening to records instead of an ipod or whatever is that it sounds better...I don't think you're getting that sound from that box, and certainly not from Bluetooth. And what was that Pink Doughnut stuff? Is that his pseudonym? His company? Also apparently this product has existed for decades, just without the Bluetooth.

Sorry, I don’t know how to quote only part of a post. Re “guys’s”, you all must not be Judge Judy fans. This is standard usage there.

There was one episode where one of the litigants referenced her daughters’ possessions as “my girls’s...” before genericizing it to “my kids’s...”

Of course, these are the same people who “conversate”, drive around in (usually uninsured)     “vee-hickles”, and have “pawnded” “joolery” to pay back money that was “borrowed” to them.

This was supposed to be a police procedural with an ensemble cast.  Now it's a soap opera with a little police work thrown in to fill out the Benoah Hour.

I was just about to type the same thing, almost verbatim  :-)

They did deviate from the usual vic as being a pretty, young, rich white girl.  They got the white part in there, of course.  Anyone who acts like she did should either be in a mental hospital or starring on The Exorcist TV Show.  If they taped the interview, which I believe is their SOP, then all the defense has to do is show it in its entirety at victim's murder trial and it would guarantee a not guilty by reason of insanity!

IMO, I don’t think Laurel was a rape victim. I think she met the guy in a bar, went home with him, and was triggered by the aftershave and watch and her father’s funeral. She snapped and killed him.

I have no clue how she ended up on the floor in the museum, but I was not paying close attention because it was so painfully bad.

  16. This is officially the worst thing I have ever seen on TV

    Ridiculous premise

    Ridiculous overacting

This show was SO good in the early years

Now I can barely stand to watch; I do so just hoping against hope that there will be an episode or two that harkens back to the glory days.
