I think Walmart daughter may not be alive in present.  I think they are just telling hays she's in LA.  It was just last week during the dinner table scene.  They all acted weird when her name came up.

That thought crossed my mind too.  Henry got upset and left the table when Hays asked about her the second time.  I’m curious as to what happened with her.

Regarding Michelle, I know I'm in a tiny minority, but I liked her during her season - I found her refreshingly direct and straightforward rather than rude, and I liked her designs.  However, those glasses are unforgivable.

I don't mind Michelle either.  She's no more bitchy than anyone else who has been on this show.   And, quite frankly, Patricia would have driven me crazy as well.  That being said, you're spot on about the glasses.  Woof.

  3. I may be way late to the party, but is Cynthia's ex (Leon) the guy from Madonna's "Like a Prayer" video?? I was watching the "previously on" before this episode and it struck me that he's the same guy, right? (I guess I could look this up...)

To stay on topic--Tanya's rainbow pants were...something.

  4. Okay--that was fun.   I got "stuck" and had to backtrack twice and so it took me about an hour and a half to get through to my first ending.  I'm going to try it again now. Screw the housework!

I'm sure the "falafel balls" were a dish called kibbeh.

I love kibbeh!  That whole spread was catered from a restaurant with exception of maybe the fish.  Cooked it herself, my ass.  That house is sooooo bad.  That "proposal room"?  Talk about tacky.  They're like low-rent Debrows.

    Jackie is my new favorite.

Omg I want to like Lala but she is just too much for me, she takes herself sooooo seriously and her delivery is always just so...awkward and cheesy.

Despite my feelings towards Lala, I listened to her interview on Heather MacDonald's podcast a couple months back and she was surprisingly likeable.  My impression is that she's a normal person IRL, but is a big fake for the show.

Did we see him or did she just talk about it? I can't remember. She was passive aggressive about taking care of him.

We saw her bring him a coffee in a paper cup in the beginning of the season, but nada after that.  I don't think we saw him with the broken leg/ankle/foot.

  8. According to an interview on Heather MacDonald's podcast, Teddi and Dorit have a mutual friend and Dorit mentioned to the producers that her friend knows this girl named Teddi. No doubt the fact that her last name is Mellencamp is probably what made the producers contact her, but it does sound like she was recommended.  She also said that the filmed scene with her and Dorit meeting at the play date was the first time they actually met.

Finally, the line of the night was Andy's "Vogue" comment.  I know he's the devil incarnate most of the time, but  I do love when he gets bitchy.  I can hear Dorit now crying to PK:  "How dare Andy insult me like that? This was supposed to be MY night where I found MY voice, and got to sit  on the Cool Girls couch, and he ruined it for me."

Maybe she'll summon Andy to the bathroom with her and PK and read him the riot act for not sticking up for her a la Kim The Wig Zolziak.

I'm going to go ahead and admit I didn't hate Dorit's hair (the only thing I don't hate about her).  I've seen that look before and I myself own a few blinged out bobbypins, but I definitely think it would have looked better had she had 3-4 of them rather than 25.

That whole exchange Andy had with Erika about her book was hella weird.  I really want to know what the story is there.

Hmm Bethenny says she asked Carole to stay at her house, and Carole said Bethenny says her house was too full.

I'm inclined to believe Carole, but the whole "Unlike some people whose names I could mention, *I'm* actually great to my friends!" (and then she proceeds to call out her friend publicly in a PA way) makes me question that. I don't think "Carole is very self-aware" is gonna make the 2.0 list.

So Carole said on twitter that she assumed she was staying with Bethenny, but that she "had a full house" and so she had to stay at the hotel.  I suspect the truth is somewhere in the middle.

  11. Bethenny waiting for everyone to show up to her party reminded me of the Sex and the City episode where no one showed up to Carrie's birthday dinner.

I missed most of the discussion at Luann's as I was too busy looking the lipstick mark on Luann's white sweater

I rewound the scene four times just to see exactly how it got there.   Apparently, Dorinda was the culprit.

Geez. How snide was Erika when Dorit told her that Teddi and LVP are becoming closer friends. “Because of the riding horses thing,” or whatever she said, while lowering her eyelids.

Damn--wasn't that shitty?!?  She really is a bitch.

Coming in second place was Dorit getting mad at Teddi for repeating a few words "said in passing" about Rinna at the non-Moroccan rice served on Hermes dishes dinner...The dinner conversation was dominated by the Kemsleys trashing Rinna.

I actually yelled at the tv when Dorit said that and I wish Teddi and called her out on it.  The Rinna comments were not something said in passing at all--they were purposefully trying to sway Teddi's opinion of Rinna.

If anyone listens to Heather MacDonald's Juicy Scoop podcast she has an interview with Teddi from March 6th.  I'm an intermittent listener of the podcast mainly because I think Heather tries too hard and just comes off as really desperate to be cast on one of the RH shows  (plus she gets some basic info wrong like people's names), but I do recommend a listen especially if you like Teddi.  She talks about her business, her past and how terrified she was to tell her dad than she was going to be on RH.  :)

I'm thinking Lala doesn't own button clothing. She's all spandex.

If Stassi and Katie were really and truly scared for Billie, they  could have said, "hey, let's google him!"  I think part of the problem is that Stassi has already established herself as a particularly mean person and everyone knows she's got issues with Ariana. Perhaps this is why they take the things that Stassi says about people with "the smallest grain of salt."  It's Stassi that said it, and I suppose they assumed the witches of WeHo were just backing her up. Perhaps now that they see the footage they see it differently? I didn't watch WWHL.

Ha ha.  Thank you for reminding me of "the smallest grain of salt." I caught that gem from Schena last week.  What an idiot.

Poor victimized Stassi! No matter what Jeremy did, it'll never come close to the rotten behavior over such a long period of time by Stassi! She's cried wolf so many times, there are people who couldn't care less what she has to say; even if she's right! You would think she was assaulted or murdered; unless her excuse makers truly are her and Kristen! Hmmm, maybe that's it because I feel like "cry me a river" when it comes to her feeling bad about anything! I won't ever forget the years of her trying to sabotage, punish, and undermine her so called friends which is exactly what some of you are trying to do; notwithstanding proof of Jeremy being annoying! Like none of them get drunk and act a fool! The hypocrisy of it all! ;-(

I can't even begin to explain everything I feel is wrong with this statement.  Stassi's past asshole behavior has ZERO to do with Jeremy's behavior at the wedding. Just because she is/was an asshole doesn't diminish her experience or feelings about it.  I hope by now you have watched the episode again and saw the footage.  He grabbed her and she was visibly trying to get away from him.  That's not okay.  Flirting is fine, but physically accosting someone is not. Period.

In other news--I'm enjoy the hell out of production's treatment of Scheana this season.

Ann is just not cutting it. I am not at all interested in her critiques. Her voice kind of annoys me, too. Can we please get someone with a personality and a sense of humor to mentor these people?

Also, after the fun of having models of all sizes on the last PR, seeing these stick-thin girls is jarring.

Anne  is soooo bad I'd even take Zanna back at this point.

Stanley's model this week is very very thin.  I don't blame him in the slightest for constructing that under piece.

Ok, why didn’t anyone use a print?  Or make an actual party dress?  When I think party dress I think of something on the casual side, not a gown. Like something Ashley or Kenley would make.  And those fabrics were all so awful.  WORST RUNWAY EVER.

    THIS.

This is why I was so disappointed in the runway.  I was actually excited for this challenge anticipating some fun, cool party dresses and instead we got uninspired silky gowns.   Could they not have chosen a patterned fabric for their complementary color? Something with a small print? I was just dumbfounded about how bad they all were.

Another example where having 2 days likely would have made all the difference....

Exactly. I’m glad Ken said as much to Anne too.  I guess I was just disappointed with what they all came up with.  It seems like each and everyone of them made a dress in the main color and tacked on the complementary as an afterthought.

P.S.  I was also disappointed that Josh didn’t get orange.  I had my fingers crossed for that one. ;)

I didn’t see Teddi frantically running after anybody in this episode. Did I miss a scene?

As far as her conversation with Lisa at Villa Rosa this episode (loved her hair/braids in that scene), Lisa actually seemed to appreciate her advice - and took it to heart, according to that last scene between her and Kyle! So I think the lane she’s in is perfectly fine.

Doris and PK only married in 2015. I think they lived mostly in New York before then, right? That might explain why.

Or maybe she heard through her British grapevine what a twit the new Mrs PK was and wisely kept her distance until she was forced to interact with her via filming! That explanation seems equally plausible to me.

Kyle did look great with the shoulder length hair. And I agree that when some women refuse to cut their hair (Lisa VP....) or wear really ridiculous extensions (Ramona I’m looking at you now) as a way to hold onto their fleeting youth, it ends up backfiring in them. I.e. they end up looking older.

I don’t think that’s  necessarily the case with Kyle though, personally. Her hair is still lovely when it’s long. Mostly because it’s thick, shiny, healthy, and all hers.

Ramona just chopped her hair off!   As much as I loathe Ramoner, she looks so much better.

I respectfully disagree . . .  I completely see what you are saying though.  Kyle has been really pushing this "BFF" thing with Dorit.  But I see that as a calculated move (at least at first.  It may have morphed into something else later . . . something meant to poke at LVP armor).  I suspect Kyle was willing to help LVP bring Dorit into the fold and secure her the housewives gig for the longterm (so she didn't just become a "one and done" girl).  But it was Dorit who worked at undermining Kyle's and LVP connection.  Dorit is just too hungry and couldn't leave well enough alone. When LVP stormed out of the luncheon, Dorit was quick let Kyle know how many ways Dorit was closer to LVP than Kyle was.  "Oh youuuuuuu didn't knowwwwww about LVP's jewelry lineeeeeeee and I diddddddddd???" with undertones of how humiliating it would be to be in the dark.  Then Dorit twists the LVP backstory of her typically British unemotional upbringing (a backstory LVP alludes to often - without giving any real personal information) as LVP opening up with her deep emotions to Dorit and once again leaving Kyle in the dark.   Kyle looked stunned, hurt, confused during this conversation.  I read that as her thinking "wait, I thought LVP and I were on the same page. WTF?"

So I think it was Dorit pushing the Dorit/LVP BFF storyline.  And Kyle looked to take back some power from Dorit by pushing LVP to take a stand against Dorit.  When LVP didn't, Kyle really felt hurt.

Dorit is such an idiot.  I mean, she really SHOULD be closer to LVP than the rest of the castmates.  Her husband has been friends with LVP forever apparently.  Again, she's just so thirsty.  She sees something and tries to bulldoze her way to it.  She sees her husband's relationship with LVP as a stepping stone to fame (and money).  She's just so clueless.  She has no finesse.  She has no tact.

Well, shoot.  I forget what I wanted to say about your post, but I do agree with it.

Well, did he want HER in the show, or was putting her in the show a way of getting on TV?  I

don't want to slam a child's looks, and won't.  But I too wonder about this trend of the children of famous people suddenly becoming models.

I have already forgotten the actual reason for the dispute between Lisa and Kyle (and Dorit), but I think what Teddi was getting at was, if you value the friendship, apologize even if you're not sure why, because it will make the friend happy.  Not a good thing to do repeatedly, but once won't kill anyone.

I think Camille and Mason were a way to get his show on tv.  Period.
