Gosh, I missed a whole month's worth of posts. How are you guys? Not much happening in my world. Same ole, same ole. Busy spring. Mother in and out of the hospital. Kids in school. I saw a turkey walking up the street. The usual stuff.

That Jackson and April didn't talk about all this before they got married is the whole point of this story. They acted impulsively, which by very definition means they didn't think before they did it. I for one am enjoying watching this, I think it's a new and interesting source of conflict for this show that doesn't involve freaking adultery, I'll take it. Cristina losing wasn't a surprise, I kind of hoped she'd win, but I expected she wouldn't and that would be why she ultimately leaves Groan Memorial. I thought Callie and Arizona's baby stuff was handled well last night. At first I thought they were going to send them down their usual path of Callie assuming and pushing, with Arizona clamming up and not speaking up. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how Callie didn't let it stew, she pushed Arizona to talk and they had a productive conversation. The coin flip was silly, but I believe it was Arizona trying not to have to make the decision herself. I don't think it means at all that she doesn't want a child, she's just still afraid of loss. So, so happy they didn't make it into a fight over who gets to carry the baby, I honestly believed Callie when she said she's happy if Arizona is happy. And MerDer? Get a nanny. I swear it's not the end of the world. Just check yourself and how often you spend extra time at the hospital, but having someone available and on the ready when things happen is invaluable.

Yes Erratic! (I'll admit she's talking about me.) I was so mad about that! We were having a nice dialog with Shonda. She has responded to me on my secret Grey's Anatomy twitter (the one you follow) on at least three separate occasions because I'm always nice and respectful. But that stupid person who tweeted her 'ur writers suck' and tagged me in it and then I got lumped into Shonda's response "You can stop watching anytime you want, I won't mind." pissed me off. It was a nice conversation and she back and forthing with a lot of us, but the one cray person ruined it. In other news, both of our vehicles need work and it's up to 1800.00 bucks and counting. *sigh*

We are headed into the city this weekend to get one last look at the dinosaurs before the dino hall renovation at the Natural History Museum. Have you gone by, Barphe? I'm so shocked that it's going to be closed for 5 freaking years. Like I said on fb, 5 years feels like a lifetime. It's so long that the year it's finished Jacob will be a teenager, Sofi will be a driver, and Ali will be able to legally purchase alcohol! Chyna I need to get the American Girl book for Sofi. We have a 2 girls (it was 3 but one moved) in our neighborhood that are just awful to her and have been for years. I don't know why she tries to be friends with them, but they let her down every time.

Ok, seriously. I have to know. How should we be pronouncing Chyna?

I hadn't thought of that before, but Munchausen by Proxy seems like a likely route for them to take. It's a strange syndrome and could lead to a meaty medical mystery for Cristina in her last few weeks.

I just looked all this up. Hunt did agree to all of Alex's terms, including loan repayment, April got fired because of it, but Alex took the Hopkins offer anyway. I assume when he did that the SGMW offer became void. So when he decides to stay in Seattle, because of Arizona, the same offer was probably not available to him.

Anne Chase (feels weird, Ace) someone somewhere is doing an official rewatch of SG-1. Helpful right? I can't remember if it was on here or somewhere else that I saw it. I was thinking of joining in. Happy Birthday dusky! And anniversary to you Erratic! ETA: It's on this site.

I started watching Grey's in the first season... then stopped for a loooong time. Then when I heard Amber Benson was going to be in an episode I decided to check it out again (big Buffy fan here) and liked it, but still didn't watch... then I heard about and watched the musical, fell in girl crush with Sara Ramirez and went back and caught up on Netflix and Hulu Plus over the course of a couple weeks and have been obsessed with the show ever since.
