Of course, they talk about what a financial hardship it is to bring Anders over from Denmark, while GH has a ridiculously bloated cast full of "actors" who should have been booted ages ago or never hired in the first place. AH is worth every penny they spend on him.

If only I could scrub this mental image from my brain....

Jason was a killer. He "died" as he lived. What about the wives, girlfriends, children of the people he killed? Sam now knows how they felt. I guess it's different because Jason had "honor" and "code". GMAFB.

I thought the boat captain was a cutie. They need to bring him back. It's bad when the most interesting thing on the show was a random day player.

I still don't understand this garbage about the LOD wanting Jason for his "exceptional skills" or whatever Helena called it. He's a street thug with a gun and black t-shirt. You could throw a rock in PC and hit five more just like him.

It was putrid. We were supposed to be feeling Obrecht's pain. What a joke! They have gone way too far with this character. However, I don't believe a word Faison says in any of his scenes with Obrecht this time around. In my head, this is all still part of his master plan. If he loved her, he would have been asking to see her at PCPD. Instead, he was playing Silence of the Lambs with Anna.

GH History Lessons: Because History is Always Repeating Itself

I know Monty had her reasons for reinventing their history. Part of me likes the idea of Anna and Faison knowing each other as children, but doesn't fit with what played out onscreen in 1990-91. Good or bad, it is canon. What frustrates me is that the current regime ignores the history that did play out onscreen. Her time in the DVX is completely glossed over, which I know is part of Anna's whitewash over the years. But it's a big part of her relationship with Faison, and it's a beat that the writers are missing. -

No, they have not had sex. That's been made pretty clear in the past. AH kind of had an oddly sexy vibe going then. He's not classically handsome, but there is something about him that's charismatic and alluring. She may have been conflicted when they were younger and in the DVX together (pre-Robert anyway). I always found their backstory intriguing. They knew each other in childhood, spent a few years as kids in the same household, wrote letters to each other as teenagers. Faison's mother (and Anna's former nanny) made the comment that Anna and Faison had been very close in their childhood and teens. So, you have to wonder if there wasn't a crush on her part or some fooling around between them. It's very likely. -
I was waiting for Obrecht to break into a rendition of "You Were Always on My Mind". The whole thing was just so contrived and forced. She gives up a chance to be with Faison to hold vigil over Nathan? Britt willingly leaves with a man she referred to last week as "that creature"? It was so phony, it was embarrassing. Although, I loved KT for full-on blubbering and ugly crying during the goodbyes. It was probably because she knew these would be Britt's last scenes, but it seemed kind of genuine to me.

I was thinking he could have at least changed out of the bright orange jumpsuit before getting to the docks. As for Anna telling them to give up the keys, it could have just been her protecting Sam (or Faison laid the mind control on her earlier). I usually find Spencer to be an annoying twit, but I did love when he looked at Helena and said, "Who's this broad?" And Helena put him in line for his flip little mouth.

I think they are kind of setting Anna up to hit rock bottom. She has lost Duke, doesn't know when/if Robin is coming home, kind of sucks at her job, and got outed about her adventures at the Wyndemere horse stable. Hell, she's even got Faison telling her she is so pedestrian and pathetic that he doesn't love her anymore (which I don't believe BTW). I don't know if Faison knew about her breakup with Duke, but that happened just the day before she confronted Faison at PCPD. She was still emotionally raw from it. Her life is falling down around her, so that would certainly make her susceptible to some mind control, which is where I think Ron is headed.

Faison would take "get your freak on" to a whole new level. Anna may not know what she's missing. And I agree that he was a better Duke. I thought IB playing Faison playing Duke was better than the current Duke.

I've been wondering if the Fluke thing is really some sort of Fight Club scenario, and Luke has had a psychotic break. However, Ron is a master of the obvious, and Fluke will probably just turn out to be Bill. Yawn. Anna has always cried over Faison, even back in the day. Part of her is still attached to him. During the original cartel story, she admitted, under hypnosis with Tom Hardy, that she won't let go of Faison because she doesn't want to. I think FH playing it that way is to keep some ambiguity with Anna's feelings. Her relationship with him is so complicated. She still kind of treads the line between love/hate. Faison had this fantastic line in an otherwise horrid s/l in 1999 where he kidnapped Felicia. He says, "Hate is just another form of passion, and passion can easily turn into love." I think that's where Anna is, she hates him for sure, but the passion behind it frightens her. Patrick was crying because he cries over literally everything lately. I mean everything. I get being sensitive, but this is out of hand. Talk about angling for the Emmy reel....

On the subject of Anna/Faison scenes, I love these two: This is when Anna is pretending to be engaged to Faison. It's as close as they ever got to being a "normal" couple. I love that AH and FH are so natural and kind of cute here. They ad lib, they flirt, they tease each other. You almost forget that it's Anna and Faison (and I kind of think FH and AH did too.) I have always enjoyed this scene because Anna is trying to draw Faison out, but he dances around her perfectly. They engage each other so carefully and yet Faison, as cautious as he is, confides in her, "You're the only person in the world who can genuinely hurt me." -

3. That jailhouse scene is always riveting to me. And it it actually kind of parallels the scenes from today: talk of being set free from his obsession, becoming emotional to the point of tears over each other. 2. Notice how Anna keeps touching the watch on his arm throughout the scene, as if she's reminding herself of her mission. It also exposes Faison's fears about her leaving him and betraying him. 1. This is classic Anna and Faison. I love how he tries to light the wrong end of the cigar at the beginning and FH is trying not to laugh. His line, "Once a traitor, always a traitor," is so telling of how well knows her. He knew that would feel like a kick in the gut, especially while Robin is talking about how honorable Anna is.
