Woot! Great for the show. I'm glad we had a good number this week, because I'm sure the numbers for 3x10 will drop. A three week break SUCKS, especially because at least where I am, they didn't show any previews--I'm sure some people thought last night was the mid-season finale.
Oh, it will happen. The question is by how much. Last year, POI had a 3 week break with Lethe and it dropped 2 tenths from The Devil's Share.
The good news is that there will be no new episode of Chicago Fire, Forever or Sons of Anarchy. The only thing that will compete with POI should be The Voice finale but seeing its erosion this season, maybe POI only drops 1 tenth? Just hoping that it does not go down to series lows again.

PoI got a 1.7 last night. It also beats Chicago Fire for the 1st time this season.

The Goldbergs hit a season high in the demo (2.4) with this special episode. So glad the ratings have been steady; this show makes me laugh out loud every week.

It seems like the preemption really did PoI in this week. All CBS shows on Tuesday lost at least 3 tenths after taking a week off. The crossover might have had a slight effect too.
I hope this week's number is a one-off and it will rise 3 tenths next week.

Team Adam: Adam once again shows why he's the worst judge on The Voice. Though I like Chris, he should not have gotten through on that performance. He's pretty much cannon fodder at this point. Taylor Phelan should have went through by far.
As for the rest of the team, I've hated all of Matt's performances and don't think he's interesting at all while Damien's a trick one pony who has a very good voice but does not know how to use it to the full extent. This is Adam's weakest live team ever.
Team Gwen: I can't really get behind Taylor W. or Anita. Although Taylor has a nice voice, he's just so dead in the eyes that I can never fully commit to his voice. I don't think he's particularly original either. I liked Anita's blind but haven't liked anything since. Whenever she "reggaes" it up, I fast forward. I am not as flabbergasted or outraged about Gwen's decision as many others are. Ryan has a great voice and is good looking. If Gwen can bring out the performance and emotional sides of him more, he could be a threat. With that being said, I still would have chosen Ricky or Bryana.
Team Pharrell: Happy with the audience vote. I'm hoping that Pharrell can make Luke a little more current because at this point I don't see him as the winner. Also, please tell him to stop swooping and hollering, thanks. If he wins, I'll be really happy though. I really like him and think he's immensely talented. Danica impressed me this week. Moving onto the coach save, on the one hand, I like Elyjuh's voice but on the other, I can't stand his mannerisms on stage and if Sugar can keep on singing like she did with the first verse of I Say A Little Prayer, she will do well. Just please tell her to stop shouting because it hurts my ears.
Team Blake: I'm content with all of his team's choices. Go CWB.
