WHAT! I never watched GH but during the prime years of soaps, there was a general knowledge of characters and the actors who played them. Therefore, I was aware of Bobbie Spencer and knew she was played by Jackie Zeman. Another huge loss for the soap opera world. R.I.P. Ms. Zeman.

In today's wackadoodle news, an apparently notorious hacker known as "10MacBooks" who targets Twitter accounts of celebrities latest victim was actor LeVar Burton. Per their usual M.O. the hacker first locked Burton's account, making it only visible to followers, then proceeded to make it appear the actor was selling 10 Mac Book Pros for charity at dirt cheap prices. Past victims of "10MacBooks" have included Jonathan Frakes, Anya Taylor Joy, and Patton Oswalt. Burton's account was eventually restored.

Here's one truly wackadoodle "entertainment" story. A few days ago, The Daily Mail - that bastion of journalism integrity - reported actor Saint von Colucci had died following multiple plastic surgeries to look like BTS singer Jimin. The story was picked up by TMZ who also reported it. Even I saw Yahoo headlines on this story but scrolled on by. Turns out the entire thing was an elaborate hoax. There is no Saint von Colucci and photos of the "actor" were (apparently) generated by AI. Be careful of manufactured misinformation (a/k/a LIES) out there people!

Never watched or bothered reading about the series The Mandalorian but have run across the title. If recent clips of Lizzo and Jack Black's appearance hadn't made the rounds, I would still be under the impression the show was about a mandolin player.
