    Pretty sure JJ's had that endorsement deal for awhile.

    And you know, I honestly can't blame Watt for doing all those endorsement deals. He grew up middle-class, probably not poor, but had to give up hockey because his parents couldn't afford it anymore. Not the hardest luck story around, but that's why I don't blame players for taking whatever money they can get wherever they can get it.

    I give JJ Watt a free pass, what with being a great player on a *rappy team.

    Feminist here! I don't see a huge difference between "little bitch" and "whore". I was a bit at a loss as to why Connie was so upset since she pretty much started the name calling(which she failed to mention to Lee). I also couldn't figure out why she was insulting Emille in the first place. He seemed to be doing his job in a slightly pouty manner. Which has to be something someone on that boat does every day. That hardly seemed reason to go to name calling to me. Of course, I don't love Connie so... The whole thing seemed like a really weird exchange to me. If you want people to treat you in a professional manner you have to do the same. Just do your job and ignore Emille's slightly pissy attitude. You can't start the name calling and then draw imaginary lines in the sand.

    I have a friend whose family uses Ann as the middle name for every girl child. Her mother and aunt are both (first name) Ann, her and her two sisters are all (first name) Ann, her new neice has Ann as a middle name, and her grandmother and 4 girl cousins all have it. I find it such an odd thing to give everyone the same middle name, but to them it's normal.

    Could you imagine if all the male Duggars where named Jim Bob? Or all the females where called Michelle? Hi I'm Jim Bob the 7th.

    BrianJ62, so sorry to hear about your brother. I hope the surgery goes really well.

    It has been raining cats and dogs here since yesterday morning, so it was super fun to pull the Christmas tree and outside decorations out of the garage yesterday (my garage doesn't have an inside entrance so I have to go outside). Plus, the Terminix man was here last weekend and something died in the wall between my fireplace and the garage and it STINKS. If it's the mouse that's been scrabbling around in the attic for weeks, it's getting its final revenge. Ugh.

    TY. It's raining almost ice here in Kansas City.

    Santa Claus sent a message to the mods. He is asking our posters to get back to the topic at hand. And the topic at hand, envelope please and a drum roll, is Josh and Anna. There are other threads in the forum to talk about the other Duggars kids, families they know, and the Gothard religion. The big jolly guy wants to remind everyone he does have coal for the mod elves to put in the stockings of bad boys and girls who do not stay on topic. He also said the mods will be hiding or deleted posts going off topic.

    I would love to see the naughty and nice list.

    i doubt a glass of wine will cause kate to start a fire....regardless of whether she as drinking or not. kate was serving guests, in the middle of the night.....do you really think someone like kate would risk being caught with a breath of alcohol? and before or after the fire, i didn't really see the "so called" mug of wine.....maybe it was a jesus miracle.

    frankly, captain lee called BS on rocky's lie. as amy put it, "it was a petty thing".......

    let's say she did drink the imaginary "mug of wine".......can a person who drank a "mug of wine" cook a pizza properly? will a greasy oven not cleaned for days catch on fire if she wasn't drinking the "mug of wine"? there was another "sober" person there...rocky. the fire started while she was in teh kitchen and kate was taking care of the DVR that rocky cannot operate......gosh. blame it all on the imaginary "mug of wine" rocky.

    rocky has not taken responsibility for anything she did....not once. captain called her out for her lies. and regarding her "leon is the big chef on the big boat now", gosh, who cares......per leon's own tweets, he was looking for "opportunites" just a few months ago. so again, her credibility here is questionable.

    I have a feeling that if Leon had been cooking when the fire started he would have blamed someone else and Rockhound would have backed him up.

    Brian I'm so sorry to hear about what your family is going through, it's hard enough when these things happen, but even harder around the holidays.

    My thanksgiving was good, nothing extraordinary, just watched a marathon of all of the friends thanksgiving episodes... My sister and I had ordered a dinner from fresh market (it's a grocery chain, like whole foods) so we just had to warm everything, it was super easy and very well supervised by the dogs.

    I just watched the Adele SNL thanksgiving for what is probably the 20-somethingith time... It just doesn't get old. I remembered there was another holiday related skit a few years ago so I just rewatched that one and I will post a link at the end. When I rewatched it I realized the little girl in it is the same one in the Adele skit.     Thank you so much, the kind words help. Complicating the heart problems is his severe short term memory loss secondary to multiple small strokes, during stress he literally has a one minute memory.

    OMG Brian. Is this what your sister and BIL want? Surgery, I mean. Won't he need blood thinners and all that afterwards, which may interfere with other meds he has? I wish they could clear the blockages with stents, not surgery. I wish none of this ever happened, to any of us, ever.

    Unfortunately things won't be simple. I will fill you in the morning.

    My Thanksgiving started out ok, at 9:00pm my brother suffered what was initially described as a "mild" heart attack, they did a cath on him today, he multiple vessels with 90% blockages, hes going to have surgery either late tonight or tomorrow. He has dementia from previous strokes, and he has about a 1 minute memory due to his strokes.

    Wow, how did you manage to dodge THAT bullet for so long? Most of us have been in intensive therapy for a year trying to get the memory of that scene out of our heads:)

    I'm going for a lobotomy and electro-shock therapy tomorrow to erase the image from my mind, the dr. Is not optimistic he can help me, nurse Ratchet will be my nurse.

    For all his tough talk and machismo, when Leon had the opportunity to come on the reunion show and defend himself he bailed. I guess he feels above it all and he doesn't care if other people define him to the show's viewers rather than him defining himself. I guess he doesn't really care what we viewers think of him.

    Also, on another matter, much as I grew to dislike Rocky, her performance of "Ironing the Captain's Shorts" was a highlight of the season for me.

    I just can't see Rocky taking care of skid marked underwear.
