  1. I agree, he's a kick! Hope he is hired as the permanent co-host! He's so goofy, he forces Kelly to calm down a bit (which is a good thing).
  2. I'm with you, Foghorn. No one should have to try so hard to be entertained or even just slightly interested. It's a shame. Although, since I've stopped watching my blood pressure has stabilized and I'm getting more excercise. Hey, maybe that's their secret goal; getting all of us to turn off the squawk box...brilliant, Mr. Wolff! It's working!!Anyway, try the music/dancing thing...just close the blinds first. ;-)
  3. Thank you Maggiemae and Backformore for taking the time to respond to my question. I have had various digestive disorders over the years and may find the ap useful at times. I'll check it out. Since I'm a little bit sensitive on such issues, I'm very glad I didn't hear their discussion. Again, thank you both for your thoughtful insight.
  4. Several of you have mentioned the poop ap, I'm almost afraid to ask but I'm curious and I trust you all. So, what exactly is this poop ap?
  5. OMG, you guys!!! Hat-tip to those of you still watching this mess. While ironing this morning I didn't turn the tv off soon enough after "Live" and decided to go ahead and take a look at what many of you have been snarking on (again, thanks for your sacrifice). I really could not believe how bad it was. First, I was treated to 10 minutes of five people talking/cackling over each other about a show I've never seen. And I didn't think WG could get any worse, but she flipping proved me wrong! And Nicole is definitely letting her obnoxious right-wing self show more and more. London is trying WAY too hard. I couldn't take it, turned the tv off, and put on music for the balance of my chores. Loud, happy, fun music that made me dance like a crazy person. Try it!!!
  6. That's an intersting take Kay, and it makes sense. There's just no other reason that they would let Whoopi run roughshod over the show as she has. My guess is, Rosie O's team either had a heads-up or simply saw the writing on the wall and jumped ship so Rosie wouldn't be blamed for the final demise of this mess. And I can't imagine that Whoopi's handlers have not been aware of the damage her performance has done to her image and legacy!
  7. I haven't watched the show since RO's last day, but I do come here to read my trusted viewers! Sounds pretty bad. To be honest, I hope this Whoopi-induced-shit-fest is cancelled ASAP. How can anyone: producers, directors, staff, EXECs not see what a mess this show has become?
  8. I'm thinking she and the producers wanted her final show to be live. IMHO, it would have been strange to know that the "goodbye" show was pre-taped. Plus, she would have to say goodbye (which was somewhat emotional for all of them) and then come back the next day to do another live show. That would be weird. Ymmv
  9. "I think she brought the prize winners' baby out when it was announced that they'd won and then brought her own baby, Dakota, out at the end. Maybe somebody who recorded it can verify." You're correct Abmis, she brought both babies out just as you said. I also think you're right about Nicole. Although I have noticed even she has been frustrated/embarrassed lately by Whoopi's antics.
  10. I thought they (Rosie and the producers) did a fine job for Rosie's final day. She seemed to want her departure to be low-key and respectful and that's what I saw. But Whoopi is a classless, ill informed, crude, smug and ugly (inside) piece of work. Oh, and we were once again treated to her eating, God knows what, while attempting to read the teleprompter. I don't dislike Nicole, but the hair combing thing was ridiculous. I feel sad, but I keep thinking of what RO said a few days ago on her blog...go be happy and enjoy your own life (paraphrasing). I just wish we could all continue our dialogue! This is such a great group. So....how do you all feel about Sarah Palin? Ps. The Palin comment was an attempt at humor, but my smiley face didn't show. (Back off , I'm still learning) ;)
  11. Holy smokaronies ya'all...Nicole is a Republican!!!! WHO KNEW??????!!!!!!!
  12. Damn, Whoopi was at her worst today, and that's saying a lot. I noticed early in the show she made a point of saying they respect the audience. Not too much later, after a commercial break where I'm assuming she had a puff, she was back to the don't tweet me cause...all together now...I DON'T CARE! Snaggletoothed bitch. While watching I can't help but imagine the Disney execs, who are also watching and squirming off their massage tables, wondering how this all happened. They should have listened to us.
  13. At this point, unless one is simply not paying attention, the world, and certainly Rosie's fans, know that she is leaving the show and has also read or heard the reason for her decision. I'm not convinced it's important to put Rosie (and indeed all the hosts) in the potentially uncomfortable situation of discussing it on air. What is to be gained by that? I ask the question, with respect, to those that feel equally strong that it should be discussed.
  14. I think it's Pain.
  15. I agree, that was another one of those moments where Whoopi tries to hide her disdain for Rosie by laughing as she makes her condescending remarks, and then of course it's followed by Nicole's obnoxious cackle. The look on Rosie's face made we want to cry. When I see this kind of behavior it makes me feel better about her decision to leave the show; no one wants to be treated with such disrespect. I'm getting to the point where I despise WG.
