  1. Given Harold's comment that the Machine had been on a hiring steak lately, and that we've seen at least one other team deployed, I don't think Shaw will have any problem finding another "admin".
  2. One odd thing is that that setting off Ice-9 is supposed to kill both Samaritan and the Machine, yet the season opener seems to indicate that the Machine survives. I was puzzled how, at the end, Finch was able to walk to the Samaritan control point, with people running past him, yet none of them trying to stop him.
  3. The last two episodes, I've found myself echoing a phrase I remember (I think) from the TWoP POI forum: "Oh, show, show, show". My one regret is that we're not likely to see something I'd hoped for: TM encounters a doctor specializing in knee surgery, who works for a hospital with ties to the prison system, who has seen his income skyrocket in the last few years.
  4. I suspect that the homicidal characterization of the machine stems from it apparently wanting them to off a congressman to prevent Samaritan from getting the feeds. After seeing what the AIs that Harold had to pull the plug on were like, it's not surprising that that would raise doubts in Harold's mind.
  5. Yeah, Wow was my response, too.
  6. People who are players in the game will pay real money to have in-game money transferred to their in-game player's account. So, you get a bunch of people playing the game merely for the purpose of racking up in-game money, for transfer to those willing to pay real money for it. The laundering comes in by recording more money than you're actually receiving for game-playing as though it was received for game money (the extra money, of course, comes from whatever illicit revenue source you're laundering).
  7. Y'know, if we're expecting previous numbers to show up as potential recruits, aren't we already overdue to have Leon Tao pop up yet again? Especially given that the recent Wall Street turmoil would probably have given him the opportunity to get himself in lethal trouble again , *and* that he once got into trouble with the Russian Mafia by getting into gold farming (might tie into Dominic). And he has been useful to TM before. Of course, I'm still waiting for a number to come up who is a doctor specializing in knee surgery, working for a hospital with ties to the prison system, who has found that demand for his services has for some reason skyrocketed in the last 3 years. Watching John in action would probably be a revelation.
