Yay for watching SISTERS! LOL. If I can encourage any kind of DePalma renaissance, I will consider my time on earth complete. <G> <<By being in the freak show, they reminded me of the Hiltons, but in physiology, they reminded me of the Hensel twins.>> I actually wondered if they chose to use the two heads instead of "joined at the hip" because it was easier to accomplish with special effects. And also because it goes along with the whole telepathy thing, with their heads being closer together. Another note: if any of you are close to New York, I think that the revival of Side Show will be on Broadway soon.

All in. Like most of you, I was sorely disappointed by Coven, but I fell for this season the minute all those SISTERS references started up. The split screen and the camera work was all so De Palma-esque! (If you haven't seen SISTERS, OMG. This is a movie that actually approaches AHS levels of weirdness, 70s style. I would even say that this AHS episode, at least, is a crazy mash up of FREAKS and SISTERS. And by the way, Violet and Daisy Hilton, whom Dot and Bette are clearly based on, are in FREAKS. Very cool!) Candall, THE GIFT OF FEAR is one of the most influential books of my lifetime. Good call.
