She didn't have a chance to tell him. She found out while he was in imaging at the hospital. When She got home Rio was there. Personally, I think Rio wants Beth, especially when he saw how sneakily she and her girls set him up. I think it is a test and it is a test with a reason. Once she pulls that trigger, he will know that she is in it for real. She kept saying "I have children." At first she might have been saying that to mitigate any repercussions to her behavior and telling Rio she has children. Rio is showing her she now is repeating that mantra to herself. But every time she says it she still goes deeper into the game. He knows she is hooked. He is schooling her for real!

I have rewatched this finale over and over. I noticed a couple of things. Remember when Beth told Rio never to point a gun at her again? He didn't. I think she now understands how unrealistic she was being with that fantasy she shared with Ruby and Annie at the diner. She had this idea that she could actually replace Reno with bragging and attitude. She didn't realize the truth about the world Rio inhabits. It is a given Rio knows what she aspires to and now she has to either put up or shut up. She will never go back to being the woman she was, the question is how she moves to the next phase.

I enjoy the show too. I think they will be renewed or sold. The show is a real gem. The problem is being a network show kind of limits the creative options for plot. I am totally shipping Rio and Beth. I think when we see them again, they will be an item. They will probably show in flashbacks how that happens. Stan can walk if he wants, but every time he allows himself to enjoy the love and presence of his daughter as a healthy young child, he will have to give Ruby some credit. For heaven's sake! The child nearly died a few episodes ago! Even if he thought there was something shady about the "business" Ruby started, he sure didn't hesitate to push her and ask her if "Corporate" could help. I remember him saying "...they need to step up their step up!" When Ruby did "step up the step up" he walked out on her. I don't condone what Ruby did, but I am a mother and I know there is nothing a mother will not do for her child when it is a life and death situation. Look at some of the episodes of Big Cat Diary. Ruby was doing what comes naturally.

I think he realized that he had underestimated her once they found him due to the robbery set up. He might have bugged her because how did he know she wanted to be him"

Stan is unrealistic! Their daughter is alive and well because of RUBY! I know she feels guilty but she shouldn't. He was in church testifying about how "the money came lik a miracle" and calling that slank an angel. But now Ruby is the devil and must be abandoned? He ought to go sit down somewhere! He knew he was a cop when he smoked weed.

One of the things that baffled me was how Gothel was a magical tree nymph with inherent powers and now she is a witch? Plus her mother told her she was an eternal being like all other tree nymphs. So how come her family was massacred? We saw Gothe's powers when she was a bad ass at that party. Since her mother was the matriarch of the tree nymphs she should have at least had the same potential for powerful defensive magic as Gothel. One other thing. when Mary Margaret and David finally kissed in Storybrooke, nothing happened. The parent child kiss between Emma and Henry broke the curse. I am thinking that maybe Hook/Tilly will be the ones who break this curse. That being said, I am still watching because I have been a Oncer from the beginning. This season is a hot mess!

Not what I expected. I can't believe Beth flipped like that. I thought something was going to happen with Mary Pat though. Mary Pat & Boomer HAVE TO GO!

I know right? It seems the longer the series the worse the chemistry! Other than that, it was a gripping ep.

Sorry, but do you not see his bedroom eyes? He has a cocky self assurance and machismo that would make me go weak in the knees! He also makes Beth feel powerful. Can you imagine how after Dean told her she was not able to get credit - Rio told her he was upping their washing money to 175K? That is what is keeping the heat going. The way he looks at her and makes her (and us vicariously) feel. The lowlife THUGS work for him. He is a businessman like Michael Corleone. I would send him after her too. After all, she nearly got them KILLED by not doing the shopping. If Rio didn't have a soft spot for Beth they probably would have been killed over that stunt. Just think. She is expecting $10,000 a month. That is $120,000 a year for DOING NOTHING! At least Annie, Beth and Ruby are shopping too. Depending on the way things go, some of that will end up coming out of Rios pocket and he will not look kindly on that and neither should they. They need to CLEAN HOUSE!

I really hope they tell Rio about Mary Pat, or that they come up with a way to get rid of her and that stupid security guard guy.

I love the show. Love the actresses. Can't understand why Annie continued to work at the store after Boomer tried to rape her. His hostility would have driven me away. I don't think she could have foreseen the drug setup but she should have gotten out of there especially when Marion showed up at the store.

Plus young Henry had an actual real world connection with Emma. He was her son curse or not. Emma bonded with Henry during the ride to Story Brooke. Also Regina's behavior was off. So she stayed as amom protecting a child. Lucy has no reality based connection with Henry.

I think they will find some magic in San Francisco. They keep saying "land without magic" but since the dragon was magical, they should call it land with rare or hard to find magic.
-
OK. I totally didn't see that coming. I mean we all sort of knew Alice was Hook's daughter but Goethel was the mother? Wow!

The mix tape. About 20 years ago, I was dating a guy who was a little younger than me. I was a recent divorcee with kids to support and sporadic child support. Mr. Romantic called me and got me all excited about a "surprise" he had for me. He showed up with a cheap little red fabric rose in plastic, he must have gotten from a gas station convenience store and a mix tape. That was it. So long Romeo. Adios. Mix tapes are lame.

She tried to mess them up with those social media photos. I think she resents any family that isn't messed up like hers. Wow! That's a great possibility!

Well, I for one am sticking to the new series, if only because I know it is the last. I need to see Rumple do something Rumpley! I need to find out what Drizella's motivations are and I definitely need to see if they get rid of Cinderella.
-
You could be right though. The mysterious heart could be the destructive fail safe.
-
I wonder who the heart belonged to that Drizella had to use to cast the curse. She doesn't seem to have anyone who loved her or vice versa.
-
I enjoyed this episode. I loved the fact that there was not so much icky Jacinda. How much more irresponsible can she be- "Can I borrow your tools I sold mine? I can believe that Drizella's magic ability improved quickly because Regina told her if she believed in herself she could harness it. I don't know if it is the same thing but I remember in the early chapters of Harry Potter, he could do things too, like opening the glass cage and releasing the snake at the zoo. She obviously has something of an ability with plant life. Remember when Regina first came upon her she was nearly eaten by a magic plant. It was a plant elixir that she used to wake Regina up. I would like to posit a theory that Lucy is not Jacinda's daughter but the result of an Enchanted forest liaison a la Henry and Drizella. There are a lot of ways to go when you think about 21st Century technology and magic.

I feel the same way! I am watching it out of loyalty and habit. The only thing good about Friday night instead of Sunday is that (assuming it gets waay better) I don't have to wait until Sunday to see the show. However, I find myself going back and re-watching the first season because I miss the charm and the original fairy tale themes. Dania Ramirez has a way of speaking that makes me cringe. The way she says the word garden - its like she sort of chokes when she has to say the "den" part of the word Garden. It seems she was just cast to be PC. Everything about her character seems cheap and thought up at the last minute. That flimsy carriage with only 1 horse and no footmen bothered me. She seems to say the phrase, "what the hell are you doing here?" ALL THE TIME. I mean Jennifer Lopez is hispanic but she speaks English fluently. I guess they wanted that accent to make sure the audience knew they were being diverse but my goodness, Desi Arnez had a cuban accent but was fluent enough so that we could understand what he was saying. Sometimes Cinderella's dialogue is just garbled!! Also, we need to see some her back story with Victoria/Tremaine... There was much more back story for all of the main characters in the first season and you got invested. I will probably watch the show until its conclusion but unless things change bigly, I don't think there will be a season 8. "FAILURELLA" LOL, I love it!!

At least the plots are not recycled over and over again like the ones on Downton Abbey where there was only 1 writer - Julian Fellowes.
-
Okay. Whew!
-
Can somebody tell me when Anika supposedly told Rhonda and Dre that she was carrying Hakeem's child? I downloaded this episode and watched it a couple of times and missed it.

He became the dark one in the winter finale. When Emma stabbed Hook with the dagger it took away all the Dark One powers from Hook, Emma, Nimue and the others. Emma thought that she had destroyed the Dark One's power but Rumple had manipulated things so that instead of destroying the dark power, all of the power of every Dark One who ever lived was channeled into him. He is now, not only the Dark One but the most powerful Dark One that ever lived.
