It seems Cate may be deluded thinking the questions Carly is asking are things along the lines of why can't she see her and Tyler more often and how much she misses them etc. I think the real questions are " Why do I have to visit these loud, smelly trashy people? They make me uncomfortable. Do I really have to?" It is also very telling that C&T think that B&T putting Carly's feelings first is punishing them. They really don't care about her, it's all about them. Just like they didn't care what Carly's schedule may be. They had vacation plans and how dare B&T not choose a time that's most convenient for them. If they had kept her she'd be even more neglected then Nova.
I wouldn't trust Jen with Bentley either. I can hear her now, "Ryan was just driving him 5 minutes away for ice cream. Ryan just wanted to take him hunting. Ryan only failed the drug test because that stuff stays in his system for 10 years, he's clean. Ryan only has those needles lying around because he's become diabetic." She loves Bentley but she loves Ryan more and she will never accept that Ryan is not her perfect little angel. I'm not a Maci fan but 100% on her side with this one.

Why yes Ryan, of course you should get Bentley when you're 2 minutes out of skipping out off rehab early with no follow up plan and a Coors Light in your hand. Maci should trust you no questions asked because you've always been such an awesome involved father. What a piece of work. I know Maci and Tyler have their own Bud Light issues but neither of them have ever nodded off while driving in the mountains stoned out of there mind and they actually seem to engage with the kids. I do think Ryan had a moment of clarity when he was tearing up, just not sure if it was guilt that he was letting his dad treat Bentley like he treated him or realizing Bentley will know he's a drug addict.
Amber..... Matt is a piece of shit but your reason for getting rid of him WTF? Not that he cheats on you, not that he gaslights you, not that he steals your money but because he won't talk shit about his daughter and walks away when you go ape shit. Probably the only normal thing he's done.
Farrah seems much more normal now that she's out of her mother's orbit for the most part. I think she's the only one of these girls on OG our TM2 to actually take therapy seriously. I would never be involved in the adult entertainment industry but she seems to really enjoy it and she seems to be securing a future for herself.
Caitlyn thanks for keeping the IUD in. The last thing you need is another kid.

think Farrah should cut her mom and the boyfriend out. What a couple of whackadoodles. The way the boyfriend shoved her dad was rude and gross. The boyfriend is giving me hard core, Dateline vibes. I can hear Keith Morrison, "She was the mother of a TV reality star. He was a beloved doctor, a pillar of the community. But was he really?? Was there more under the surface than anyone ever could have imagined??"
I agree but since Farrah seems to have removed Sofia from being around them unsupervised they can have it. Both equally matched by jobs.

Haha, yeah that makes sense. Although it could also be because she's just such a drunkard and she probably couldn't even wipe her own butt, so they had to actually dress her.
That's exactly what I took it to mean.

And the IT guy saying, oh, that seminar is next week????? You don't go live, especially with such critical data, until everything is locked down tight!
Forgive me, I had to giggle a bit at this. Not medical field, but formerly of huge company when IT insisted all would be well with a rollout at our busiest time of year. Needless to say, IT had not anticipated everything and brought down the business for a day and a half. So, yep, Bailey was annoying, but I get her standing over their shoulders and being crazy. Of course, we all have our stories whether on IT side or on end-user side, so we can all relate to someone here!!!!
So... the teaching hospital I work at went live with a new software 3 weeks ago. Let's just say paper charts have become very popular.

Was I the only one hoping they would end the episode with a side by side shot of Chelsea, Cole and Aubree's cute cake cutting with Jenelle's trashtastic mud and robe cake cutting?

If her bag is real she paid $2,350.00. When Teen Mom ends those bills are not going to pay themselves. I'll give her a pass for the Yeezy sneakers if she paid retail($200.00). They sell for $1,400.00 on Ebay.
I had to zoom in to see it was a LV. I thought it was the Michael Kors I bought my daughter last year.

That's after the caseworker would have done everything in their power to convince Barb to take him. They strive to place children with family members over foster homes. Barb didn't have the power to sever Jenelle's parental rights and it would have taken years of Jenelle flitting in and out before her parental rights were terminated by the court. I've seen it happen many times. The parent gets chance after chance after chance to get themselves together and when they're not keeping it together, the child is placed in foster care. Only to be uprooted from the foster family again when the parent makes a modicum of an attempt to be a parent. Unfortunately, CPS doesn't swoop in, put a baby in a wonderful family and tell the bio parent to go away. They give the parent way too many chances to turn it around. In the meantime, the child is being bounced from parent to foster family and back again. I just watched this happen with a family from our neighborhood. It took 6 years for the state to finally say no more chances. Now, the child is in his 4th foster family in 6 years and they don't want to adopt him because of behavior problems.
The best thing would have been for Jace to be placed for adoption as an infant. But, Jenelle was the only one with the power to make that happen.
THIS!!!! I used to be a foster parent and this is exactly what would have happened. When we were going to foster parent classes there was a young man telling us about growing up in the system. He and his brother were placed in foster care when his brother was born addicted to crack and he was 18 months old. He told us how the foster parents were their parents. They were loved and cared for them and were a very happy family. 7 YEARS later, his bio mom get her act together enough that the state gave them back to her at ages 9 and 7. In less then a year they were removed from her custody again but the state refused to put them back with their original foster family because the bio mom complained that they had turned the kids against her and the social worker had stated that they were too close to the kids. They both ended up in group homes and aging out of the system. My best friend fostered and got her son when he was 6 months old. It took 6 years to get bio moms rights terminated so she could adopt. I quit fostering because I couldn't handle how broken the system is. A little boy I had was at a supervised visitation with his bio mom and social worker at her apartment. The social worker and little boy ended up in the ER from being overwhelmed by the "cleaning fumes" (bio mom was a habitual meth head) and they still wouldn't stop visitation. His dad stepped in and it still took the state 3 years to terminate her rights. They were holding the fact that dad was out of the picture for 3 years against him but kept giving that abusive drug addict "mother" chance after chance. If Barb had not stepped in, Jace would be cycling thru the system and in much worse shape then he is now.

That’s what I’m waiting for! The background info that you were referring to when you said Jenelle is more stable than Barb was at her age. I’m genuinely curious! It must be juicy if it’s worse than being a heroin addict with 15+ arrests!
And Jenelle would be shouting it to the rooftops and selling it to every tabloid known to man. The fact she doesn't makes me thing nothing to see there.

I may go to hell after watching that. How bad is it that when I hear Jeremy say "It's sad when a 5 year old knows how mommy does it.. By shoving it all in the back" all I can think of is that sounds like a conversation between Sophia and Simon.

if they did show that scene with Babs and Jenelle you know they were doing it to remind the viewers how this whole thing started out
That's exactly what they were doing. It may have even been a deleted scene. I remember plenty of episodes of Jenelle and Babs fighting over taking care of Jace but I don't recall ever seeing Jenelle flat out say she hadn't had time to smoke weed and admit she was leaving to get high. This episode is general seemed to showcase that the producers are sick of her BS and threats to quit.

I loved how the very first scene showed mean old Barb stealing Jace away from Jenelle's loving arms. Bwahabahaaaaaa! Nothing says I want to steal your child like that discussion. "I didn't choose to have a baby at 57. I want you to come home and feed him, give him a bath and put him to bed.". " Dude! You're stressing me out soooo bad. I haven't even had a chance to smoke weed yet today. Screw you, I'm leaving to get high. "

How many of you, like me, were seriously pissed off at Kail wearing a hood at her Bachelor graduation? The rest of us had to graduate from grad school to look cool in a hood. I still dream of the Doctoral get-up.
I didn't notice that. I'd be fuming if I had. I busted my ass for mine without bringing my kids to class...

I do believe I saw emotion in Jenelle's eyes tonight. It was seething rage when Jace dared to say he didn't want her to marry UBT. I think the cameras in the car were the only thing keeping her from backhanding him. When UBT inevitably kills her, Jace is going to feel so guilty because he gave permission for them to get married. Then she lets UBT barge in on his birthday Facetime. I also loved how she couldn't be bothered to wrap his cheap ass birthday present. I normally wouldn't judge a birthday present but its Jenelle and she buys UBT anything he wants and gives her son that she wants back soooooo bad some cheap toy truck. In short, fuck you Jenelle.

I wouldn't necessarily put Amber above Jenelle. She is scary, scary violent. I think she might even be *more* uncontrollably violent than Jenelle.
I agree Amber is generally more violent then Jenelle but I think Jenelle is more likely to be violent against her children. Amber had never shown any violent tendencies against Leah and she seems to have realized she's not mom material ( even if she won't admit it) and doesn't try to take her away from Gary and she's hasn't brought another child into the world.

Have you ever thought of how you would rank the Teen Mom OG adn Teen Mom 2 girls if you had to put them in order by who has their stuff together the best? I think it's clear that Chelsea would likely be first. Maybe Maci would be second? I don't know. Might be easier to work from the bottom. I'd definitely say Jenelle is probably worst off with Amber being just slightly above her. For the most part, though, there are major parts of almost all of the girls' lives that are just train wrecks.
Chelsea
Maci
Farrah
Kail
Leah
Cate
Amber
Jenelle

Kail would have to know how to cook. Microwave foods and frozen foods won't work on a cooking show. Leah would be her only viewer.
You need to be exposed to the wonders of Sandra Lee on Food Network. You can learn all sorts of recipes such as her famous angel food cake. Step 1 Buy an angel food cake; Step 2 Slather it in canned frosting or a tub of Cool Whip; Step 3 Top with a citronella candle and serve! For a quick laugh google Sandra Lee Kwanzaa Cake. I can easily see Aunt Sandy being an inspiration to Kail. Her food is crap but she goes into Pinterest overload on table decorations to the point where you cannot put food on the table.

Is it wrong that I don't care that David obviously beat the shit out of Jenelle? I fear for the kids and wouldn't want anything bad to happen to them, and I don't condone abuse at all, but Jenelle is such a vile horrible person that her kids best chance may be with her missing on the land and UBT in jail for life. Otherwise they are in for a life of abuse from UBT and neglect from her. Even if she were to get away from David she would just find someone just as bad if not worse.

If I am remembering correctly, Dr. Tsao said to Leah the hospital could have made arrangements to ensure Ali was given a temporary wheelchair while her own chair was being fixed. Doctors know those things can happen and usually children hospitals are in contact with agencies that can temporarily supply a family with a much-needed item such as a wheelchair. Children's Hospital of Los Angeles has this in place this for children who come from families whose parents are cash-strapped or are given a temporary chair until the insurance approves one.
Even if that wasn't the case, Leah and Cory have the means to have rented a chair while Ali's chair was being fixed. Another thing, they could demand their other kids stay off the fucking chair and not break it because it is not a fucking toy.
The wheelchair debacle was all Leah and to some extent Corey's doing. I live down the street from the place that makes the wheelchair that she uses. That is also the place where repairs are made. I have toured the facility and have seen the chairs in production, the chairs in for repair and the loaner chairs. While insurance may have given some push back, Leah had more then enough money from MTV to go ahead and pay for the repair and then fight with the insurance to get reimbursed. The would have overnighted her a loaner chair. Corey just didn't think she needed it and Leah was more worried about money for pillses.

Yes, "...he's just going to have to get used to it". Clearly admitting Jace is afraid of David. But no response like...I don't know why. Well we should probably work on this. Just suck it up because we don't care and this is how we live!
That scene proved that she knows he's scared and she knows why. She blames everything on Barb that she possibly can and she didn't even try to blame Barb for making it up or for brainwashing Jace.

You do mean Maci not Mack right?
That monologue by Larry was another thing that cemented my view that Maci is doing the right thing. First with Bentley, or using Bentley, being a trigger they have already made up the excuse of why is ok for Ryan to be high around him. Second Larry stated several times that RYAN is their everything. Jen nodded along with this. There was no correction of Ryan AND Bentley are our everything. That to me shows Ryan will ALWAYS come before Bentley with them. I've been a foster parent and seen the devastating effect this level of enabling can cause. I've seen DCS remove children from grandparents who have them because they constantly violate the state's custody agreement in order to enable their addict kid. Maci in my opinion is 100% in the right to not allow him to go over there. Now if they can place nice with her and meet at her house or a neutral meeting place that would be different but they don't seem to want to do that. It's much easier to sit around and bitch about how evil Maci is while doing absolutely nothing to try and remedy the situation.
