  1. I agree about that.  I think my thought was that, if Sonny got killed by his lifestyle, Michael, Morgan and Kristina had another parent to care for them, at least nominally.  Carly was stupid enough to think that she would never be a target, so the idea that she was setting her kids up to be orphans didn't enter her mind.

Right now, if Jason gets killed, Danny and Scout are screwed.  Sure, they basically live at Monica's, but I don't think that she makes decisions about their care or anything like that.  They are being nannied by Leo's nanny with the supposed supervision and authority of Sam and Jason in the background.  That is different than actually being in crazy eyes granny's care.  Alexis could step in (and by god I hope she would) but it would be messy as hell.

  2. I think Hayden is gonna either die or mysteriously disappear/be taken involuntarily, leaving Finn to care for Violet.

That might cause drama for Anna and Finn in the same way that Sam being locked up gives Jason issues.  Anna's lifestyle is not kid friendly.  Not as bad as the mob stuff, but she and Finn have issues enough with her taking off with little to no notice and then dropping off the radar for months at a time.

  3. I was thinking about the whole "jason has to rethink his choices" talk.  I thought it was pretty funny, because Sonny never did that, but ... Sonny has never been solely responsible for any of his children besides Carly's short trip to Shady Brook after the kidnapping, and I think that actually was during one of his out of the mob stretches (her coma wasn't long enough to really count, but Courtney was taking care of the kids then).  Even now with Ava in rehab or whatever, Carly is still there for Avery.  So, not so hypocritical as I expected.

  4. Brook and Lulu have never really liked each other, so her being shitty about Lulu doesn't really signify.  And if Ned were to get all angry and throw his daughter out of their family home for talking shit about her former step-aunt who did his brother pretty dirty as a teen then I would call him a flaming hypocrite.

  5. At least Rope keeps Hope and Rafe contained and makes fast forwarding them easier.  Emily O'Brien as Greta wouldn't suck.  I remember her pretty fondly and she's one of the very few genuinely nice people who have ever featured on this show.  I hold a deep grudge against Jensen's Eric for cheating on her.  Not because they were a good couple, because it was shitty and I thought Eric above that.

  6. Jason is Scout's uncle, bitch!

Ahem... SAM AND JASON ARE BARELY A COUPLE, WTF SHOW?  And shitty Monica probably can't even find it in her to care about Actual Drew's basically orphaned child because she's too hopped up on stolen hospital medications and fawning over FranknDrew!  Fuck you show!

Nooooo!  I need Robert to save me from Finn and Anna.

They're second cousins so they would only share 12.5% DNA.  Pretty negligible.  And they weren't raised.

You are right of course, but soaps don't really go there.  I mean, if the chem is on fire it would work, but it's Michael, so that's not gonna happen, lol.

And, as a proud, flag flying, stan for Jammy on GL, its deeply hypocritical of me to even mention.

  8. I agree, you would think that setup would be rolling hard by now, but nothing.  Either they are going an unexpected route or the change in writing is clearing the board to put that all in place.

I do think it was the plan before they decided to keep Sasha around.  Maybe she will leave when they finish up the Valentine lie.

  9. Real talk about the baby switch though.  The person who is going to be most hurt is probably Willow.  Lucas will still be Wiley/Jonah's family, but she will be nobody, and the baby that she left a cult and uprooted her entire world to protect will be dead and gone.  I almost want this switch to go on until after Willow has become so entrenched in the baby's life as "aunt Willow" or whatever that they can't cut her out.

ETA: I don't see Michael as the kind of guy who would do that, but you never know on this show.  I also think it's too late to change his name back to Jonah, a name I loathe as much as I do Wiley.

  10. I figure they could get to the baby's second birthday before the truth comes out.  And then I see some kind of legal battle between Lucas and Michael... maybe.

ETA: The resolution I want is for Brad to be locked up for kidnapping/custodial interferance/whatever and for Lucas and Michael to be co-parents together.  It's gonna be messy either way, but I don't want either of them deprived of their child.  I'm one of the few who want Michael to not be hurt.

  11. That still image is terrifying, but the video looks like she's using a rear facing camera and making faces because it's entertaining Gideon.  And, entertaining the toddler while the kids do what sounds like individual, quiet, school work isn't a bad thing.  I do wonder who is teaching now, since the girls who had done so previously are all married now.  Maybe  they are just doing work that needs fewer distractions more than a guiding hand.
