  1. A couple of things though,.....I miss the Heartland Theme Song,.... =( ... and their so serious,.... =( BUT, all in all great job Uptv
  2. HEY America; Are you on twitter...? Well, recently UPtv was in Canada on the set of Heartland doing promo shots. This is why!!! Check it out, Season 7 starts on Aug. 27 ARE YOU READY? http://t.co/Bor3f9GbXD ENJOY,....<3
  3. I miss her too,..but, I always wondered if her parents, maybe, missed her just a little bit? I wish we could have seen more of her family at home. Her home life wasn't so realistic,....but I loved her to pieces.
  4. As long as motherhood remains her priority; I mean with Katie & Georgie, and Maggie's, her plate should be full enough that she's not tinkering in everyone else's ,'cookie dough', right.....?
  5. We have forgotten the BIGGEST ONE OF ALL 718
  6. Tim Fleming ~ His story reads much like a Greek Tragedy, like a series of unfortunate events. The young Tim was a wide 'blue' eyed, bushy tailed, blonde headed, Rodeo King in his day. All the ladies wanted to call him their very own 'cowboy'. He was young, bringing in the big bucks, and proud of it! He had it all, including a family. Until that 1 crazy ride, took from him the one thing that meant the most, RODEO. What was he going to do now that it was gone. Rodeo was all he knew how to do, and he did it well. Forgetting about his family, being racked up, on drugs and alcohol to sooth the pain (physically and mentally) of all he lost. He struggled to find his way out of this mess but, never seems to get it quit right. Even Jack ( his condescending voice of reason) yells at him, "EVERYTHING YOU TOUCH TURNS TO CRAP!!!" His confidence is low, his self esteem is shot, even his love live is nothing but, pathetic. Imagine getting the phone call that your wife (though separated) and youngest daughter have just been in a horrible accident, that took your wife's life & your daughter is in a coma. If he wasn't drinking & on drugs before, I could understand how that a lone could push one over the edge. He used poor Janice, to make a quick buck at the races, and so he could gain custody of Shane. (Oh Tim). With Miranda, he blew the opportunity of a life time. Here was his chance to do something right and meaningful again but, he let them slip a way. And yes, Jack yet again (his condescending voice of reason) tells Tim, "You need a hobby, like golfing". There is an awful lot of water under his proverbial bridge Can he make a difference in his life once again in season 8? Gosh I truly hope so. Because TheRealTC is correct, he has a, "BIG HEART OF GOLD", and I want to see more of it. We first saw his heart of gold when he stood up to Jack, about Lou & Amy, "That was the past, but, there is nothing you can do about the future". Jack has always been there for Lou & Amy, but now Tim desperately wants to be a part of their adult lives. At least he's trying, and making an effort, which is a lot more then I can say for some guy's I know in reality. We see his heart of gold again as he helps Caleb face the truth of his RODEO accident. Was it harsh, yeah it was, but if Tim didn't care he would have never helped Caleb! We see his heart of gold, BIG TIME in 618 We see it again in 710 (OMG, Jeez Louise, heart don't fail me now) He's awkward in how he goes about doing the right thing, but it's all twisted with his sad, Greek Tragedy past. I want to see him rise above it and take real control of his life in season 8. He's a good guy and needs to be truly happy! Cuz I Like Him!
  7. Wow, I am in awe, yet again! (I have been so drawn to H*O*W because, of it's historical value. Are the people real? Nah, are the events real? Maybe, maybe not; yet, I have always wondered what life for our pioneers would be like. Wondering just how difficult it would be to make ones way through to the unknown) Naomi ~ I'm intrigued, to say the least. Here is a young Mormon girl, dazzled by the, ever gorgeous, Cullen Bohanon. He is nothing at all like the boy's she grew up with. I think a part of her wants to know what life outside, the comfortable confines, of the Mormon camp is like. Remember, she knows nothing more than life inside the camp. Her life has already been planned out by her parents. Mine wasn't! I figure it's got to be pretty similar to the Amish who choose to leave there home and life. They are shunned. Will her family shun her and her child? (whether or not it is Cullen's) We do know that when Cullen first met the Mormon family they invited him in and Naomi & Cullen got, shall we say, friendly. I'm sure (possibly) the baby is his (one never knows). How scared must she be trying to figure out how the rest of the country works!? Let a lone the new, little Cheyenne. She is not familiar with how life is supposed to go. She doesn't know who to trust, when she's being played, or even what her role is going to be. At the Mormon camp she didn't have to figure things like this out. It was the same thing every day. Now, what does she do, she's just an outsider, mother & wife in a strange place. It will be quite interesting to see how her story unfolds. I am very intrigued. Eva ~ She too, a little like Naomi, is trying the best she can to make it in a country that can't stand her and what she represents. She has no family to rely on. Where is her place in a town full of men who see her for only 1 thing. They have no respect for her. I feel so sorry for her, The world is so full of judgement, and accusations, and it hurts. The Indians used her, the whites use her, the blacks keep far a way from her. (Cuz she's different, than all of them) She has nothing, at all, in common with anyone. She is a lone in Cheyenne (walk in her shoes,...what would you do). Remember when you were in school --where did you fit in, did you fit in at all with anyone--or were you a lone? I do want to see her be able to stand her ground and make her way. I want to see her rise to the occasion and pick herself up, and shock the heck out of everyone; because she did, it on her own. When she walks down the street I want to see the town show her respect & honor; because, she made it, she became something no one thought she would! Ruth ~ She left home to find her dad who, in turn, abused, then left her!? She found him, deceiving everyone. Now she's left with picking up the pieces that he left behind, and trying to be Christian about it. Now throw a little boy (Ezra, an orphaned Mormon) into her topsy tervy world! She does know that she must protect her shattered heart and his shattered world. She will do what she must to protect him. Even from Cullen! Cullen ~ OMG, at the end of tonight's episode, -- ( @_@ ). Don't think for one moment that he will let that beating he received, go unnoticed! But, at the same time he has his wife, and child to consider. He won't remain too quiet much longer, He's just feeling his way through, after being gone a while. Now he's back and, watch out. Once he gets his 'mojo' back he will be THE force to be reckoned with. I truly can't wait to see how all of this unfolds. These characters I've mentioned are my favorite and I want each of them to succeed in each of their endeavors!
  8. How is it that this little spicy, adorable, spunky, tenacious, young cutie pie can generate such awful hate around the internet? You certainly won't find any hate, for her, here! I love her, and I can't wait to see what's in store for GEORGIE. We first saw Georgie running a way and, quietly sneaking a hitched ride in the back of Jack's truck. At the ranch she is like "The Heartland Matrix" sneaking around here and there and everywhere, stealing Lou's casserole, Freaking Lou out with the fridge door swing open, doors being suspiciously slammed shut, Freaking Poor little Katie out, and startling her awake, ~ How funny was it when NO ONE but, NO ONE, believed Lou! They all suggested she was too STRESSED,...OMG! hilarious ~ Then she ends up in the loft, after Ty embarrasses himself on his date with Amy. He resigns to his loft pondering what the heck went wrong, and randomly, all of a sudden "HACHOO".(creating havoc all around) The look on Ty's face cracked me up!....HELLO GEORGIE! I have seen some people reply that she deserves a good Whoppin' Beatin' & Spankin' ...(OMG, REALLY, ~ What, are we in the MIDDLE AGES,..er,..MIDIEVEL TIMES) seriously!? I work with kid's who have been in the foster care system for all their lives. Do any of the haters consider that, being tossed around from home to home her whole life, is probably the reason Georgie is so rambunctious and, with a little training, love, care, and help from Peter & Lou, Jack & Amy, she will grow to be more than any of us expect! Her wild side can be tamed and they will do it. She's already becoming quit the sweetie she is destined to be! But, all that being said I really like Georgie a lot. No child should ever be turned a way, and, I'm sorry but, Whoppin's, Spankin's & Beatin's ,is not the answer. If you don't believe me take a look on-line at some of Russia's orphanages and look at those little faces, and tell me that the above mentioned is the answer. #georgiefanforever ..yes I am <3
  9. Hahahahah I have to agree with you,....and yes that moment when "Caleb tries to take back his trailer by hitching it to his truck -- with Ashley still inside." .....She screams and jumps out "ARE YOU CRAZY,--WELL ARE YOU".....(BAH~Hahahahahahahahahaha) OMG yes I do still hysterically bust a gut on that!
  10. Did BW's latest tweet confuse anyone else, as it did me,.....? "Who's NOT in Pike River today? Alisha @alijnewton is (as #graham714 was recently) in a Calgary studio recording a voice track." At first I was ...(Huh,.. what?) Then I read it like this,..."Who is NOT in Pike River today? Alisha is not! Now I'm reading it this way, "Who's NOT in Pike River today? Alisha is in a Calgary studio recording a voice track, as #graham714 was recently! Meaning Alisha is NOT in Pike River today! What The Heck,...BW! hahahahahahahaha @_@ just say that there is not going to be a wedding in this episode!,...Because Amy, Ty, Jack & Tim are rescuing animals involved in the CULL!
  11. No,...I wouldn't blame Val,....She did pay him off to leave, but, he came back! Ashley was never truly, seriously committed to their relationship. Her attention and focus was on getting,"her future out of the garbage", It was never about Caleb. I don't think her choosing a, "higher standard of living" is a good thing. It will, down the line, back fire on her. She is vain, because she grew up vain, that is the fault of Val!
  12. Well there are many reasons, but I will limit my response to this,....Caleb has been on his own since 16 yrs of age. Ashley couldn't even graduate with her friends,...(Not sure if Caleb ever graduated either), but, he had to mature real quick, to support himself. Ashley has always had mommy to fall back on, and while they were on their honeymoon, she got a huge taste of all she, "COULD", miss out on. "OH Delish", just wasn't enough for, "Hot Ash." .
  13. Oh MY How I Miss Mallory-isms, I miss how she was always up in everyone's (play pin), I have 2 favorite quotes that just, well gosh, are really good! & Classic Mallory Jack is digging a hole for the "OUT HOUSE", he's building because Caleb is enjoying himself in the "WATER CLOSET", way too much (no pun intended)...(LOL) p.s. To TheRealTC that one was for you! @_0 anyway,..back to Mallory, (hahahahaha) Is it Lou, or someone else that is looking for Jack, Mallory's response, "He just bought a one way ticket on the Koo Koo train to stinksville.", Amy & Mallory are in Amy's room and Mallory is giving Amy some advise for her love life. Mallory wants Amy to talk to TY, but, Amy thinks she meant Caleb. Mallory tells Amy this, "You have to talk to him so you won't end up DEAD, MISERABLE and HAUNTING HOUSES, for the rest of your life." Mallory is holding the book," Withering Heights". OMG,.....Mallory you just have to come back OOPS,...I have another one,....Lou is gonna meet Peter and is telling Amy about meeting, "The Internet Guy", Mallory is eaves dropping and say's, "Or An Ax Murderer",...like 3 times.....hahahahahahaha
  14. Well, yes Tim did do something that bad. He lost a friend in Jack, He also purposely went behind Jack's back , for his (Tim's ) own benefit, and if you haven't seen 6x18 then just know that Tim is the cause of what happens.(in my opinion) Did you see 6x17,? If you did, did you see how serious this was for Jack! To Jack this was the straw that broke the camels back,...Tim pushed Jack tooooooo far this time. And then after you see 6X18 ...701 will justify Jacks position for you. Tim has been reckless before, but again because of jack's reaction, Tim went way too far. That happens to us in real life as well. Has anyone ever crossed the line for you and you end up never trusting that person again, and you've lost all confidence in them. Tim was supposed to be better than that, What he did crushed Jack in a way that nothing else would. Watch it again if you can and focus on Jack's concerns and reaction. I think we all can relate to him at some point in our lives,...I know I can.
  15. OH ThRealTC,.....Always the voice of reason,....(LOL) UGH!
  16. The "A little misery" has me worried. Me too Isabelle,...(eek... me too)
  17. In lieu of today's Heartland Blog, I thought it might be interesting to introduce you to, Chris Potter ~ The Director ~, not the actor (Tim) Chris Potter has directed many episodes of Heartland and, some happen to be my fav; 3x14 - "The Happy List", Relationships clash. Amy clashes with Ty when he buy's a rundown 'Norton" motorcycle. Ashley clashes with Caleb when he leaves for the rodeo and is severely hurt, BUT, Val asks Amy to help her show jump again. (Who laughed when she falls of the horse in front of Jack, while she shows off,....Hahahahaha) 4x15 - "The River", There is a bear hanging around Heartland and, getting into Lou's Jam. Amy faces a lawsuit (by Stuart) {grrrrrrr}, She also is riding Spartan when he senses the bear near by. He rears up, and Amy falls hard, blacking out. Amy has a vision (of sorts) of and little girl, who is Marion riding her horse Cinders. Ty goes in search of Amy and, finds her. {this episode is one of my favorites. I loved Amy's vision and I love how the writers keep Marion in the show,....genius} 4x16 - "Never Surrender" , Caleb's friend Bryce, a paralyzed military vet & ex-rodeo star hires Amy to sell his roping horse. {another fav., episode of mine. Did you know that the actor playing Bryce is 'NOT' paralyzed. WOW, what an amazing job he did. I would really like to see him come back. What Amy does with his horse is pure genius. I loved it so much} 5x13 - "Aftermath", Ty almost hits a wolf on the way home with Jack, after he spreads his dad's (Brad) ashes. Ty & Jack get in an accident and Jack goes for help. { again another one of my favorites. OMG, I think I cried the whole episode. And, what was up with that random driver who drove by, UGH, what an attitude but, he did help them in the end. & Ty's vision's of Amy, - holy moly - awesome stuff} 5x14 - "Working On A Dream", Amy helps Tim in "Mutton Busting", to help Tim's image in a custody battle with Miranda over Shane! {Tim, what a Jerk} 6x13 - "Waiting For Tomorrow", Mallory show jumps Spartan, (Jeremy trained her, and used her, like she was just a piece of trash....Boy I hate that guy, more than I do Chase). During one of the jumps Spartan breaks a leg when he lands funny. { YEP, you got it, another favorite,...I cryed a lot in this one too, as Amy was remembering all that she and Spartan had been through,....OMG sad stuff}. 6x14 - "Lost And Gone forever", Jeremy killed his horse (but we don't know that yet), Ty's future as a vet is in jeopardy. Caleb helps Georgie to figure out how to play the recorder. An amazing moment between Caleb & Georgie! I LOVED IT SO MUCH. {But, what happened to Ty, because of Jeremy & casandra not being completely truthful just yet. She let Ty take the fall......It's fair to say that I don't trust her at all} So as you can see Chris Potter is quite the Director. Season 8 should be a true treat with him directing these two episodes. I truly can't wait for 8. Though we in America will have to wait 4 weather seasons to pass before we will have the honor of watching the PREMIER!......(SIGHING) but OH so Stinking excited!
  18. I don't envy my Canadian buddy's at all!
  19. Did you see today's blog, posted by the ever elusive "BW",...if not, now you can; http://t.co/TdCQk57OEcw ; in it BW chooses these adjectives to describe Season 8, " HIGHS, LOWS, LOTS OF FUN, A LITTLE MISERY, LAUGHTER, TEARS and of course continuing adventures of life on a horse ranch " She even added a very interesting clip of Chris Potter, (Tim) directing a scene. btw, he looks quite relaxed in that directors chair,..(haha). Some of those adjectives I don't, very much like .......hmmmmmpf
  20. True that!,...You couldn't be more correct "TheRealTC",....We need it (yesterday)
  21. From Season 1 to 6 Jack has been the source & picture of strength. ( I got no song tonight,...I'm all sung out), He's always giving someone a little bit of Jack~wisdom, encouragement, and a positive scolding. Even when being poked at by Tim. Tonight on 6x17, Jack has been poked at, pushed around and taken for granted (by Tim) one too many times! He lost it, The first time I (we've) seen Jack weak. We watched him being crushed under the weight of, and the possibility of, loosing everything. Everything that he worked so hard for (for Lou & Amy) was about to be gone by Tim. The life of Jack was sucked out of him when Stumpy called and told him that Tim purchased some of his feed; exactly the thing Jack told Tim 'NOT TO DO'! In Jacks mind everything was on the verge of being gone. Put yourself in Jacks cowboy boots for a moment, (What would you do)? When it looks like you are about to loose it all, are you still strong? I'm not. The important thing to remember is this: ~Be very careful not to follow every stinking thought that comes into your (our) selfishly twisted mind, because your (our) thoughts and feelings 'WILL NEVER', dictate your (our) truth~ Jack was faced with that too. He acted on what he thought/felt was the truth. Sometimes when we act too hastily we end up paying the consequences, and sometimes the consequences are greater than (what we thought was truth)! I feel so bad for Jack, because I can relate. ( I need a mental health day) Tonight's episode was quite upsetting, but next week (!@#$%^&*) This was just the beginning of Jack falling apart. (what do you do when your faced with a very serious circumstance, that seems to knock you for a loop & sock the wind out of you, leaving you speechless & motionless ?) We surely have to be careful with what we accept as truth, before we act on a lie we have convinced ourselves of. =)
