1. Yep. This was a rare authentic moment in an increasingly staged season. And, although I know that the producers would never allow the answer to be aired, I want to know! Anyone?
 2. Have the designers never watched this show? The challenge of designing something for Heidi to wear dates back to the initial season, so it seems like they would all enter the competition with some mental notes on how to dress a lovely woman with very specific taste (or lack thereof). And yet most of the designers seemed either taken by surprise, paralyzed or both. Once they got over their shock and stasis, though, they designed for a much older, much more staid person than La Klum. The winning look bears a striking resemblance when in motion to the gown-of-golden-hangers look that Heidi 'wears' in the promos for this season.
 3. We have a little black and white terrier rescue mutt. In my mind, she is in a long distance relationship with Swatch. She tolerates his many Facebook friends but will not allow him to have a Tinder account.

4. I had not heard that this might be the last season. This news makes me want to stick with this (so far) lackluster season to the end, oddly.

When Sandhya called out Hernan for his runway show snit, I applauded. He was his own worst enemy in this challenge from the jump and his whiny, excuse-laden, pants-on-fire stupidity during the judging sealed his fate. Despite the fact that I share Sars' love of his mangled locutions, I will not miss him.
 5. The 'future of fashion' challenges have been universally disappointing, and this ep was no exception. A few of the designers hinted at some thought process about how looks might evolve and why, but I don't recall any of those explanations making it to the runway in any interesting way. The judges' close-up review appears to be an excuse for Zac to get super handsy with the models. The evolution of Heidi as a judge has been an interesting arc across several seasons. At this point she could rest on her producerial laurels and just phone it in (Nina!) but she provides something thoughtful in every ep. I do miss her heavier accent and occasional mangling of English from very early seasons, though. I so want to continue to love Tim, but it is an uphill battle. He seems tired and bitter. Sigh. Maybe he just needs a vacation. Hanging in for this show is like being in high school and continuing to pine after the guy who keeps breaking your heart because he was so nice to you THAT ONE TIME...
