I think everybody covered the weird tonal issues, but the thing I found most jarring was Elisha Cuthbert's role. She is one of the funniest actresses on the planet and the only thing they have her do is be the nagging ex-girlfriend. In a show with a lot of wasted talent, she has to be the most wasted.

That's the reason why I love it.There has always been subtext about Lana, Mallory, and Archer's serious oedipal issues. This is just a blatant example of how Lana will eventually turn into Mallory. Also, I'm not sure how much better behavior we can expect from a character who got pregnant using her ex-boyfriend's stolen "goop."
