  1. EBR lives in Vancouver and I imagine a lot of the cast moves there during the filming season and gets their own place but for someone like Katie Cassidy and SA, they have significant others living in other states so maybe rather than having to go to the bother of keeping an apartment, maybe she just stays at a hotel and commutes as much as she can.

Though that's pure spec. I have no idea about the living arrangement of either KC or SA. Another thought could be that since she's sick, she could have put herself into quarantine, lol. I've heard of people doing that for loved ones too.

Stephen has an apartment in Vancouver, he often posts videos from his kitchen counter where you can hear his daughter. Most of the regular cast members also move to the city, probably in apartments leased by CW. Colton & Grant Gustin lived in the same building last year as was obvious by their Twitter banter. Danielle Panabaker & Katie Cassidy apparently live in the same building or so implied by KC during dragon con, though I can never be sure what Katie means to say because her speech is always very disjointed and she leaves a sentence in the middle and start talking about something else.

Katie seems to be single these days so there is no significant other in the picture.

  2. Katie Cassidy either does think at all or has no brain to mouth. In the same con, the Baltimore con, she said that she is an Olicity fangirl and then dismissed Emily/Felicity as love interest and when asked what kind of character development she wants, she said love interest ... She the proceeded to say she wants a love triangle with Oliver and Felicity. You can check it at the 7 minute mark on the video link pasted below.

She is a PR nightmare ... I would commit suicide if I have to work with her or tasked with image rebuilding of her person.

  3. Stephen probably asked his father in law to deactivate his Facebook because his profile has now vanished.

By the way that comment was made over a year ago. What makes that Nazi DNA comment ten times worse was the fact that a black acquaintance made a comment on father in law's photo with Stephen's daughter and said that she is cute and looks a lot like him (the father in law Papa Whitehead). Instead of responding with a simple thank you, he preened to a Black woman about his Nazi DNA. What a swell guy. If I was Amell, I would have grabbed my child and ran far away from Grand Pa Whitehead.

  4. From relationships thread:

Agreed. I think it's because it's something a bit different. In a universe of archers and jumping off buildings and flawless moves, there's something really endearing and watchable about Felicity giving it her all and just sort of hoping for the best. I put a lot of that on EBR and how she reacts to things.

I still smile at the Tablet of Doom thing. I laughed for so long over that. Her little face was so pleased that she'd taken one of the LOA down and then she saw it was Malcolm. Priceless!

It is not just tablet of doom, but everything that she does automatically becomes a brand and a sorta iconic moment. Whether it is them Zip lining in the elevator shaft or Oliver saving her from a land mine in Lian Yu, her interrogation and labelling herself as 'bitch with wifi' or her wearing the Atom suit, everything becomes the signature move of that particular episode and people remember it for long. There are already comparisons out that when they had to take up arms, both Oliver and Felicity started off with machine guns. I think it is very smart that they are using the things that interest the audience for marketing instead of regular boring stuff.

  5. Emily seems very confident during her public appearance as well but someone who interacted with her quite a bit in Paris has a different opinion, perhaps Grant Gustin is also like that. I also believe that both Emily and Grant do not want to be labelled as genre artists hence their reluctance to attend too many cons. Or they would be just very selective people.

She is not shy but she seems like a private person. She is smiling and friendly but she would not share things and hug left and right like David Ramsey would for instance. She is a little more guarded and she does not speak loud.

  6. Well, Barrowman was the third in that poll and they locked him in as well. Emily Bett Rickards, Grant Gustin and David Ramsey round up the top five. I think Ramsey will join in, but Gustin and Rickards do not seem too keen on attending cons. Considering it is Stephen Amell who is arranging this con, he may persuade his colleagues to give it a go. I know many people who will jump in if Rickards is announced.

  7. I stand by what I wrote, you start making concessions for small things and then it explodes in your face.

I am not saying what Katie did was criminal or severe like rape. Rape is a crime and periscoping without permission is not - at least not that I know of but it was hella invasive. And she did tell Emily to "chill the fuck out" when she said no. All I am saying is that one should respect the word "No" when it is said, period.

  8. I love SA's insights into how he and EBR have enhanced the Oliver & Felicity relationship through little, unscripted things...

-- On his fave thing about the Olicity relationship, SA: "That the scenes always tend to be different by the time we play them than they are when they're written on the page... we always tend to find little nooks and crannies that, I think, make our relationship resonate with people." (Nerd HQ Conversations with SA, page 151 of Behind the Mask thread)

-- As an example of how he and  EBR take time to make sure their relationship comes off as realistic and natural as possible through little touches, SA: “I think when I left in 3x09 last year, I don’t think it was scripted that I kissed her on the forehead.” He went on to say that, “With Emily, it always tended to be little physical things, like, her touching my shoulder, or her mentioning that she dyes her hair.” (Hypable article, page 64 of Starling City Times thread)

The forehead kiss was actually written in the script, Marc Guggenheim has shared that after the episode was aired.

  9. That's like asking me NOT TO BREATHE. :)

Poor Steve, all of this fangirling he desperately needs to let out, it's so endearing.

hahaha fire away ... it is so much fun seeing him spiral and then the whole twitterverse explode.

Everyone - including me - is speculating what kind of sexy times scenes they are shooting today since his "Monday's sorta sexy" tweet.

So far, most votes are in for sexy times in the kitchen
