  1. One of favorite Wes moments was when he called out Evan on The Ruins. After the Tonya and Veronica fight, the guys were sitting around and Evan was saying how they all have said things about Tonya. Wes chimes in and says "I haven't. Derrick hasn't. Cohutta hasn't. It has been you three." Or something to that effect. Love that. Also, Wes was the first one up to stop the fight and then Evan decided he needed to to be a good guy, too. Evan holding Tonya, afterwards, was laughable

I felt so sorry for Evelyn on The Island, but she really isn't a very nice person. Much like Kenny on the beginning of Fresh Meat II, when she's the outsider she seems like a decent person, an underdog you can root for, and the minute she's part of the majority she turns into a complete asshole.

I rewatched the scene with Big E, and Evan and CT are definitely the biggest abusers, both screaming in his face telling him to move. Kenny and Adam are off on the sidelines rolling their eyes and largely unsympathetic, but at least they're not in his face. At one point, Evan is hollering at Eric, and CT actually pushes him out of the way and tells Evan he's making it worse, and to encourage Eric. I thought that was a moment of kindness on CT's part, but a scene later CT is physically dragging Eric while screaming at him and yelling at Brad for trying to defend him.

Even without the later allegations, I think there is plenty of evidence that Evan had a cruel streak a mile wide. He likes to play the nice guy, but I think he's really an awful person, and that's only going off what we were shown on TV.

Evan has been an arrogant, awful person since he first appeared in Fresh Meat. Just horrible. Power went to his head and it made him even worse - and that is hard to believe.

I question the woman who married him. Plus, Johanna making  Evan the Godfather to her son. WTH?

  3. Why oh why would you put newbies next to Pat Benatar? The woman is known for her powerhouse voice. You could tell she was holding back and yet Pat still overshadowed both AI singers. Madison was better than Kate but no one is going to sound good next Pat on "Heartbreaker". The judges were all about Pat during that first performance.

I can only speak for myself, but I bash Hannah because of her personality and sense of entitlement.  She's a bitch, IMO, who is far too eager to point fingers and blame other people rather than actually fix things and make them better.   She often puts herself up on a pedestal by criticizing others.   I don't think she wants inexperienced/lazy/unqualified stews to improve.  I think she'd rather they fail so she can look superior and be proven right.   She gets into conflicts with co-workers all the time, and she is not a good manager.   Very often she's completely unprofessional.  For all the worldliness and experience she claims to have, she comes across as very immature.  She has no impulse control, and I'm tired of seeing her scream into other people's faces while throwing her weight around.  There are better ways to deal with people who aren't up to her standards or who she feels are out of line.  Most grown adults know not to poke the bear, but her behavior with Jwow is exactly that - poking the bear.    And that behavior is not new.

My gripe isn't with how she does her job.  Even though I've never seen any indication that she's a fabulous chief stew, I can acknowledge that she probably does a decent job.  (My son owns a restaurant, and worked his way up, so I'm well aware of the teamwork that's required.  Teamwork is not at all Hannah's strong suit, IMO.  Hannah is all about Hannah.)  In any case, my gripe is about her personality and attitude more than anything else.  Unpopular opinion, I know, since I realize there are many here who really like her.  But I really don't!   :-)

    Spot on!!!!!!!!!

  5. I was up to the early hours binging seasons 5 and 6 so if this was already discussed, I apologize. With Elizabeth not going through with the killing of the one guy and killing a KGB agent, why go home to Russia at the end? Wouldn't they be in serious trouble with the Center back home? Wouldnt the Center want them dead for not going through with an assignment as big as that one? I thought Claudia was going to kill Elizabeth on the spot with the hot soup and ladle.

  6. The Carl's lack of appeal  is understandable. Same with Everett. There is nothing attractive or appealing about either one. My question is, what is appealing about Lauren? Not attractive in the least. I don't find her pretty just incredibly average. She talks to fast, she doesn't seem smart, she is vain. She has no interesting qualities. Why does she think she is such a great catch?

  7. Erica needs to go away. IMO, she brings down the show. I don't like the character at all plus I scream at the tv that her hair and makeup is always wrong.

But, Clancy Brown is gold in everything he does. He was terrific as the shop teacher.
