Teddi does.  I for some strange reason decided to listen to Two Ts bur then Tamra was not on and the Kyle apologist Carlos King was on.  I made it about 3 minutes in and yes both these fools said she faked it.  I am like umm even AnnMarie said she needed to go to the doctor and the paramedic continued monitoring and her BP did not go down - that magical esophogas  must manifest swelling and high BP.

But Teddi Walters also said it was suspect that they changed clothes - I guess she thought walking around in a ballgown for hours at an ER sounded awesome.

Good grief. This makes MY blood pressure rise. Teddi’s opinion on this is worth the paper I’m not writing this comment on. I’d rather hear Tamra talk about… well, just about anything.

This seems like an extremely minor infraction to me, if it's even a violation at all. It's not abnormal for EMTs to say vital sign info out loud in the situation; they were just doing their job. Does HIPAA have specifications about reality show reunions? It was an emergency situation and they responded; it would be really dumb for someone to pull aside the EMTs and brief them on HIPAA rules, which they presumably know already. Plus, if it was an issue, Bravo could have edited it out. And maybe Sutton didn't care and gave consent.

Heck, at my doctors office, they weigh you in an open hallway and announce it to the whole hall if you don’t warn them you don’t want to hear it! (Ok, they don't *announce* it, but they do say it out loud…)

I have not passed out but I had visual disturbances (everything looked smoky) that sent me to the hospital (afraid of a stroke) and it was dehydration. I could see my sight getting better as the IV dripped in. I did not feel thirsty. I was not sick. I apparently overdid it in the heat. I would have never thought I could be that dehydrated and not know it!

I believe it! I once took a tour of a very arid part of the world and they told us to keep drinking water all day long, whether we felt thirsty or not, or whether we were indoors most of the day or outside. Dehydration can sneak up on you VERY quickly! (And not to be TMI, but keep an eye on the color of your urine—if it looks any darker than pale, it COULD be dehydration.  Emphasis on could… there may be other reasons)

  3. The biggest revelation during this reunion was the flashback to Kyle and Mauricio in Paris circa 2013. I had to face the fact that I’ve watched this show for at least 11 years 🤣

Though I am really put off by how Erika and Kathy reacted to Sutton’s medical incident (even if stress/panic brought it on, it was obviously serious enough to require medical attention), I’m calling it now: Sandoval will “pass out” during the VPR reunion 🤣

That was THAT Penny??? She was one of the most hated contestants in the history of that show.

    Yep, that Penny!

Alright - there we go.  I've been calling this sandwich shop a storyline for 2 years now.  Someone pointed out to me last fall that they wouldn't still be paying employees, yet here's the same old sandwich chef from last year.  And I agree about the interviews - very fake!  Here's my new theory:  the girls hooked up with this Penny; she's the Vanderpump and they are the Toms - maybe minor investors but it's her business and they're giving her lots of free advertising.  I have no proof but will be watching for further clues!

Oooh interesting theory! I do think the shop is real but I will buy that there’s an additional reality connection happening here.

I was following all of this in the news pretty closely, but never read anything about a Brock/Rachquel hook-up.

There was something about a late-night pizza run and some people said things like “if they are doing a pizza run alone that late, she probably did something with him, too”—there may be more to it but that is what I remember seeing.

  6. My initial reaction was to skip the reunion. I should have listened to my gut. It was not particularly interesting or insightful. Oh well. If I had, I’d have missed Dorit serving fashion fashion fashion.

Kyle frustrated and irritated the heck out of me. She’s trying to use the Scandoval playbook AND she can’t get LVP out of her brain and mouth. Lady, take a cue from Frozen and let it go

I’m still not an enormous fan of Crystal, but I’m glad the “child bride” comment was revisited. “12-year-old child bride” was such a wrong-headed comment on so many levels. Crystal was 24—not a child! And Dorit’s snark about being successful didn’t land, either. Did she literally learn that day about Crystal’s coconut water business? I find that hard to believe.

Most of the rest felt like a rehash, a bunch of deflection and rehashing, or a mix of all of that.

  7. Emo: Had roots in punk, started to really emerge in the 90s with bands like Sunny Day Real Estate, but became more of a "thing" in the late 90s/early 2000s with My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Panic! At the Disco, Fall Out Boy, etc. I can definitely see Katie into this music as a teen.

    Anyhoo...

Schwartz. It was a bad call to use him as the "unifier," but I guess that's what we got. Sandoval refuses to do the one thing that would ACTUALLY make some headway with the group: admit what he did was wrong, apologize profusely, promise to (and actually) change, and make amends. I don't know what his "status" is like with the whole group as of now, but at this point in time, none of them are having it, and no amount of Schwartz Schwartzing will move them. ESPECIALLY because Schwartz was complicit...despite his protestations to the contrary.

PS I don't know if "boards on boards" is still a thing here, but I wanted to express appreciation for the levelheadedness here!

  8. If you have Spotify, the Ringer’s podcast series “An American Scandoval” is worth checking out. Not that anything is necessarily new to you, but it ties everything together. Plus it’s fun and funny!

I’d rather see the butterfly sundress than Erika looking like a red latex sausage. I still remember that get-up from the road trip several years back that she could barely walk in. And what about Dorit’s CHA NEL crap?

Anything Sutton does is open for ridicule. Anything at all. As I said, it’s getting old and for every finger they point there are a lot pointing back at them.

Glad to see the forums are back.

I loved that butterfly dress! I, too, would rather watch Sutton flutter around in a seasonally inappropriate sundress than Erika squeaking around town in Britney Spears couture (and that was the exact comparison I had, too!).

California is a full practice state for advanced practice RNs.  APRNs can practice to the full extent of their training and education—which certainly extends to giving medical advice.

Agreed. I'm in California, and I've seen some absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable, helpful RNs.

From what I've seen so far, Annemarie would not be one of them.

Of course all the while Sutton isn't sharing that her ex had told her he was moving to London and to continue shared custody she would have to move too.  When Kyle asked her, "What's going on with you?" (at Sutton's house) Sutton could have explained it.  Instead, Sutton waited until it was all resolved and served it up as an excuse/reason for her behavior that night.

On your last point: I figured that Sutton didn’t say anything before it was resolved (especially on camera) because she had no idea how it would shake out, and was concerned about saying something that her ex could use against her. Honestly, I would get pretty shaken by that too.

Except I don't think Berger would have reached out to Carrie like Aidan did and Carrie definitely wouldn't have responded.     Maybe if they both ran into each other and he was single...

I'm thinking more of a run-in, at least initially.

Heck, I'd rather see Carrie run into Jazz Guy again than Round Three with Aiden.

I always get SATC jazz guy and the Seinfeld “hot and heavy” saxophonist mixed in my head. Maybe Carrie should get together with him!

I was just coming here to say exactly that.  She has more unfinished business with Berger than with Aidan.  Her breakup with Aidan was pretty final even though they met again in the movie on a better note.  In fact the meeting in the movie could serve as the reunion that smoothed things over somewhat and provided more closure.  They really didn't need any more than that.  Breaking up on a post-it, while pretty cad-ish, was more open-ended and begs for some kind of reunion to either wrap things up with them for good or start them up again, perhaps for the better.  Besides, I like Ron Livingston and liked them better together on SATC.

I like Aidan, but not for Carrie; Berger ultimately bothered me but I love Ron Livingston. I agree that a reunion of Carrie and Berger would have been preferable; they seemed more compatible. And, as you say, there’s more potential for a variety of interesting outcomes, given the way things ended for them, compared to the multiple reunions Carrie and Aidan have had.  Let Aidan and his furniture fortune recline in peace 🤣

ETA: the whole scrunchie thing always felt forced to me. Now that they’re trendy again—Berger should run into Carrie wearing one…

I know there are a lot of nuts on the internet, so I obviously condemn the crazies who harass and threaten Housewives. But a lot of us (most of us) even the super fans are just normal people who respond to what we see. I started out as a Rinna fun. I thought she was funny and got a kick out of her. Her behavior just got worse each season though.

Absolutely! Zero excuse for truly unhinged behavior. But when you act like Rinna has… people are going to have very strong reactions that mayyyyyy include being very critical of, say, Rinna….

Yes, he did call someone “Poo Poo Head.”

Came here to see if someone else had already posted it 🤣 It’s a great watch, especially as a Mad Men/Hamm and Slattery fan. John Hamm is so goofy! And Slattery can act allllmost as smarmy as Sandoval 🤣🤣

And that’s fair! I do not support everything about Ariana! For starters she picked Sandoval! I watch this “reality drama”  as drama. What R did was dehumanizing as well. No one is perfect.

I never said it wasn’t… Both she and Sandoval were despicable in their actions.

I have one last observation re Ariana. Apparently some of the viewing public has turned away from her (I'm not sure I buy that) because of how she spoke to Sandoval and Rachel.

Why on earth does Ariana have to censor her anger? At the time of the taping, she's into week 3 of the insidious betrayal. Plus people have been stepping forth, sharing what they saw him do, making her dread each new revelation, and feeling worse.. AND she's forced to continue having him in the house, while he comes and goes, dates Rachel (or others) while getting Rachel's mail. It's not like she even had 3 weeks to work through her emotions because he's there!

I believe Sandoval had no intention of ever leaving Ariana, and I think he's waiting for her friends and media to go away, and then he'll go back to talking, reminiscing great memories nonstop, while declaring they're meant to be together, thus programming Ariana that she's got the affair all wrong. He cried to Lisa and to Andy that all he wants is to sit down with her, one on one, to talk... Ya right ...

He'll claim Rachel's making up stuff now because she wants revenge after he told her he only loves Ariana. Ariana, who loved Tom and trusted him completely, might be tempted to listen because they once had a solid, mutually respectful and beneficial relationship. I hope her friends stay close.

I have known many Toms over the years. I could write a book on what they'll do, step by step. And how women will get sucked in.

Well… see, that goes totally beyond to me. I may not like some of how she SAID things, and I may feel that reflected poorly on her—but good grief, that wouldn’t make me side with Sandoval or Rachel!

As several others have already eloquently highlighted, she’s calm now. She needed time to calm down, and this was all very very fresh. They pulled various stunt moves, coordinating their continuous lies, deceipt and sexual antics, IN HER HOUSE, when she was suffering from losing her Grandmother and dog!

Ariana deserves that we cut her a break, with the empathy reserved for her instead of the wolf in sheeps clothing.

The lies, the transgressions all got to her. I give her a break, and cut her some slack. She is human after all.

Believe me, I’ve watched this from the beginning and am very familiar with what went down. I’ve been angry and disgusted on Ariana’s behalf for weeks now. Her anger, cutting remarks, and sharp responses are totally justified. I draw the line at “nothing” though.

And that has zero to do with me being empathetic toward Rachel. I don’t like anyone calling anyone “nothing” as it’s dehumanizing.
