That reminds me of a story.... a couple was staying in a high rise hotel and he called down to the front desk. He told the clerk that he and his wife have been fighting and she threatened to jump out the window. The clerk interrupted him and said.. Im sorry sir but we do not take sides in a domestic dispute.

I liked the last segment with London and Paula. They work well together. Also Paula had a very nice dress today. I think she is the best dressed woman on that panel. Of course it doesn't take much with Whoopi and Raven. lol

I really liked Paula's shoes...... and her legs looked very good today too.

Not sure where to begin......so I'll start by saying that I'm a southern woman, conservative leaning, but I think I'm pretty open-minded. I don't vote party lines; in fact, in spite of the fact that I'm a registered Republican, I will be voting for the Democrat candidate in our upcoming gubernatorial election. What I don't understand is the disdain for Carly Fiorina, by the View hosts and by many on this board. I would truthfully like to know what it is that makes people dislike Her so much. Is it simply the fact that she is a conservative Republican and they/you are liberal Democrats? I don't like all Republican candidates, nor do I dislike all Democrats. (I would have possibly voted for Hillary if she had been the nominee in 2007, but not today) I thought the ladies were incredibly rude to Fiorina today, especially Whoopi with that "baby" remark. Carly would try to reply to their questions, but they would start talking over her until no one could be heard. It's like they despise her so much that no matter what she says, they would take the opposite stance. And it really does irk me when Joy plays the comedienne card whenever it suits her. As for the baby harvesting Planned Parenthood issue, what exactly is the truth, and according to who? I have seen and heard the tapes, and they look pretty damning to me. But I would like to know what is the truth and what is not. (Whoopi seems to think she knows!) Sorry this is so long, I'm just baffled and would love some input!

Carly was also quite disrespectful to The View hosts. The biggest problem with her is she has been caught in so many lies it makes her look foolish.

 

Im sure this post has already been answered by others but the reason I am responding is because of the bolded part.

 

The truth of the videos came out... they were edited to show Planned Parenthood in a bad light.. admitted by the group that put them together.... The video that shows an "abortion" was not filmed at Planned Parenthood..... and it was not an abortion. it was a late term miscarriage.

When it comes to the "harvesting of baby parts" That is just a Right wing term again  trying to make Planned Parenthood look bad..... What is actually going on is the mother is donating the fetal tissue for medical research.... the money involved was a reimbursement for the expense Planned Parenthood incurred......Now it is true what Carly said about Planned Parenthood not going to take money for these donations any longer.... her claim that they were profiting on it was incorrect.... they stopped taking money because of the made up scandal... not because it was illegal.

I just get tired of the misinformation.... and when they get called out on it they double down on the lie... Carly is quite good at that.

Michelle spoke up about the ridiculousness of Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving.

 

It always freaks me out when Christians talk about the "War on Christmas" when "their" holiday is almost 3 months long.

 

Personally I see the "Christmas Season" as being disrespectful to Christianity.... it is just a time of year for money grabbing and the gimmie gimmie gimmie of the holidays

That kid needs a brain. These people get into volatile situations all the time and trying to maintain the peace gets harder and harder to do because so many assholes are running around who have no regard for authority

attracting quality people to these positions will become more difficult and it's only going to get worse. How ridiculous that teachers and security people et al are forced to deal with the obvious shortcomings of what passes for parenting these days

I think when I see some of this over the top behaviour in these situations its what many of us might do if we found ourselves in a situation that had the potential to become out of control. Their rush to get the upper hand and try to secure some kind of calm and establish their authority is what goes on every where using weapons Violence and sheer physical strength. These things don't occur in a vacuum yet we're all so quick to judge from our comfy couches

First off being an asshole is NOT illegal....... and when authorities use force there has to be a reason for it.... a cop or teacher being annoyed is NOT justification of violence.... that is why the cop was fired.

The problem comes from parenting..... but it must be said that disrespecting authority is nothing new.... what is new is authority being held accountable for their wrong actions.... before everyone had a camera..... those in authority were able to tell lies about the incident and they were believed..... now with cameras their lies are being exposed.

In most of these violent encounters with police could be handled much better if a good cop was involved..... a good cop would deescalate the situation and handle it without violence.

I get tired of people supporting violence when there are other ways to handle incidents.
