  1. Was it stated in the first episode that the gun found at the scene was not the gun used to commit the murders? That the gun found was the father's gun which was only used to shoot Kyle in the head and not used to kill the rest of the family? And because of that they couldn't be sure Kyle was the killer? If so, there may be a hole in the plot.

Kyle brings Lincoln's gun from school to kill his parents, as shown in episode 6. When he begins shooting his parents, Lincoln and AJ run from the scene while Kyle continues through the house. Eventually Kyle shoots himself with his father's gun. How did the gun used in the murders make its way back to the school?

In one of the final two episodes the Lincoln and AJ say to the Colonel that they cleaned up the scene for Kyle aka brought back the gun.  That is how the father's blood got in the gas station and how the gun made it back to the school.  It's also why they were so concerned with Kyle remembering what happened because they would be accessories both before and after.

Now to be honest, I don't know why either AJ or Lincoln didn't take it upon themselves and kill Kyle one night at the school and make it look like a suicide.  Sure, Mama Colonel would be pissed, but it would wrap up their little crime.

  2. Damn, I really wanted to see Frankie get what was coming to him.  Caleb should have been smart enough to play the competition, but botch it.  However I do give him credit to have enough balls to do what he did.

I do think Derrick's job is a huge asset in this game.  The guy knows how to read people and how to manipulate a conversation for the outcome he wants.  The guy has been the puppet master and it seems no one is aware of it.

I never want Victoria sent home...mainly because of this forum and her being Vera, Veronica, Visine, etc.  Y'all are the bestest ever.

I also kinda never want Zach sent home since I'm sure this will become the most boring season of BB to date once his craziness is out of the house.

  3. I have a question, is it true what Kali said about drinking while breast feading? I have no kids so I wouldn't know. She said along the lines how if she doesn't get tipsy or feel drunk the baby will be fine. But don't babies have smaller bodies therefore are more affected the alchoal? I'm curious and have no idea XD

Yep it is true.  What Kail said is also true that the alcohol will go into and then out of the breast milk just as the alcohol does with our blood.

  4. Well...stinks to be Mills, but I don't have much sympathy for guys who beat up women and are creepy around young girls.  I wouldn't mind him spending a lifetime behind bars, if only to save his potential future victims.

Me neither.  Skinner killed them, but Mills victimized them as well.  I actually felt more for Seward in the line of people taking the fall for what Skinner did.  That episode in S3 where he was put to death was almost unwatchable for me.

I also don't mind at all Linden and Holder not being brought down for killing Skinner and then covering it up.  They made the world a better and safer place by putting a bullet in his brain.

  5. Yes, but who knows when those bodies were dumped?  I think the conditions in the water would make time of death hard to pin down, and if Joe Mills died fairly recently it would make it easier to pin the deaths on him, IMO.  From what I understand serial killers use multiple dumping grounds, or change dumping grounds.  I believe that was the case with the Green River Killer.

Seward is the one who died recently (on death row for his wife's murder).  Joe Mills is currently in jail and they were about to announce that he was being charged with all the Pied Piper murders when Linden and Skinner went up to the lake house.  I am assuming they did in fact charge him and he is being framed for the murders.  Joe Mills was the creepy boyfriend of Kallie's mom who made those amateur porn tapes in the back of his mom's hotel.  Creepy mofo, but not a murderer.

  6. But you gotta wonder if he was either thinking he had gotten away with so much so why not take some more risks, or if he was somehow wanting to get caught.  I mean you gotta have a set on you to think that you're going to give your daughter a ring, a picture of which is blown up 100x and pasted to a wall in your office and get away with it.

True.  And he did say to Linden in the end of Season 3 that he was sick of hiding who he was.  I kind of think Skinner knew that he was driving to his own death when he drove Linden out to the lake.

  7. Ahh....I binged through the whole season.  Damn you Netflix!

    Yes I have to admit

I was surprised to find that Kyle was the one who killed his family. I too had pegged Colonel Rainne as being involved somehow, but not Kyle. Those boys broke him.

    As for Linden and Holder

I don't think they had crazy sex or have any kind of attraction to each other. I have never felt it and was dreading what I thought was going to be a kiss and confession from Holder. I do however believe they have a bond that only law enforcement partners can understand. They need each other, and maybe not in a healthy way, but I think they can work on that. I don't think they function well alone.

Those boys didn't break him...his family did a long time before then.  When they show the actual depiction of Kyle killing his family when he shot his parents you see the absolute look of shock on the faces of Lincoln and AJ.  They thought it would be a fun joke, but never thought he's actually go in and kill his whole family massacre style.

I have to say I was very disappointed in this season and I felt the resolution of the crime(s) felt rushed. The symbol of the sun finally coming out when Linden left her house was a bit simplistic (but a welcome relief from four seasons of dreary grey rain).

Ugh, as you can tell I was so disapointed with this season. By the time Linden came back I could have cared less if she and Holder got together because keeping their lie would always be over their heads and would, IMO, tear them apart.

I don't think the lie will be held over them because they told their truth.  Linden sat in a room and said what happened and after that....it is not on them.  Their consciences are clean.  I think they both looked at peace with what happened with Skinner when she came back years later to see Holder.

I still think a lot was left unanswered. I didn't get Lincoln and AJ. Why did they keep harrasing Kyle with the murders? Why did Lincoln point at AJ?

I think they both wanted to see if he was going to remember.  They knew that if he remembered what happened and it came to light that they would be accessories in the crime.  They were trying to jar him and see what would shake out.

But it wasn't just Linden who failed to find the casing despite it sitting in almost plain sight -- her house was searched by a team of policemen specifically looking for incriminating evidence.

I still say Holder swiped it, then put it back.   In the end, it's always every man for himself.  Maybe he regretted it later, but he took that casing to protect himself and his family.

When they were at Linden's place I believe they were looking for Kyle.  They didn't know anything about Skinner at that point.  All Clear was that Kyle was not there, not that the room was cleared for evidence....or at least that is how I took it.

  8. I have no words for Jenelle.  It was so horrible to watch how horrific she was with the dogs and then the scared look from Jace watching her do it.  Barbara isn't the bestest ever, but thank god for her.  I hate that the show just throws up a PSA and moves on....knowing that it will bring controversy and therefore ratings.  MTV doesn't care at all what happens to those dogs or anyone they film.

I've always liked Kail.  I think that this season she is definitely showing positive growth.  I like that she could admit she was wrong with Jo and Vee and that she really liked Vee.  The old Kail never would have done that.  I was also happy that she allowed herself to go out to a club, even though she hemmed and hawed so much about it.  Kail has never been one to party or to throw her kids to someone else to raise so she could go out and have herself a life.  She let herself have a good time and by the video it's clear she doesn't drink since she had no idea what vodka tasted like when she tasted it.  I also like that Javi went out with her friends and they all had a good time together.

Leah.  Ugh.  She's the worst.  The only thing I will give her is that the Mary Kay scam may actually work well for her since she is a reality celebrity, so people may buy that garbage just to buy it from Leah on TM2.  She still needs to tell her husband when she is spending thousands of dollars, etc.  She just doesn't get it.  I was also disturbed by how she didn't wear a seat belt and it seemed totally find for hubs to be searching and reading from his phone while he is driving.  They are gonna crash and hurt themselves or someone else.  They deserve each other.  I was totally creeped out by Grace and Ali's convo when they were at Corey's...mainly because Grace was talking to Ali as if she was in charge of her.  I would have given her a WTF look just like Ali did.  Bitch please.

Chelsea.  She's boring.  As for Adam, I keep reading that he did stop drinking after his last DUI, so maybe that is someone from AA.  The convo had the gist of it to me.  I do think Adam has no idea how his sometimes there, sometimes a ghost affects Aubree.  Chelsea isn't the best and would have no clue if Randy wasn't there, but at least she's been there for her daughter.

  9. But it's always the cover-up, not the crime. They should have phoned the incident in and Linden could claim temporary insanity after her former lover and boss essentially kidnaped her and taunted her with what he'd done. With her mental health history, everyone would believe she just lost it.

I think there is a better defense than that if they called it in right away.  Linden was being taken to what she thought was Adrian the night Skinner died.  He drove her to the abandoned lake house and then said that the kid was dead in the trunk.  Linden could easily saw at that point that she thought she was going to be killed like all the other victims.  She could say that he slipped (hence why he would be on his knees) and she took that opportunity to grab her gun and kill him dead.  Holder could say he figured out they were at the Lake House when the wifey said so and headed there.  He was looking for Adrian when he got he call that Adrian was A OK safe, heard the gun shot and came running to find Linden and now dead Skinner.  With all the bodies in the lake that could be connected to Skinner, it would be a pretty easy slam dunk case.  But instead they covered it up and made it so that they are always running from killing a man that deserved to die.

Holder in this episode...wowzers  Whoever writes this knows about addiction in a big time way.  He's classic of someone in a relapse.  It was so sad for me to see him using and see him just willing to throw everything and everyone good away.  I also love that of all the people in his life the only one to outwardly ask him if he was using was Linden.  Everyone else just shut their eyes and hoped they could ignore it away.

Linden botches throwing away even more evidence.  For homicide detectives they seem to almost want to get caught with how stupid they have been since this all happened.  Let's just wash off the blood like there is no evidence....let's use a cell phone that can be traced back to me...let's ditch evidence in a way that can be found and connected to me.  Stupid stupid people.

  10. Netflix shows are awesome because you can binge watch a whole season, but also horrible because you can binge watch a whole season.  I like being able to see the case through, but it also takes away the slow build and the anticipation of having to wait out a whole season.

Holder is the reason I watch this show.  I frick fracken love that kid.  I love how damaged he is, but that kind of makes him awesome.  And yes, the crunch berries was a highlight.  I also love how great he is connecting with kids and how often how awful he is connecting with adults.  The Boo Radley comment was the bestest.  I literally LOL'ed and had to click rewind cause I missed things.

The neighbor is such a red herring.  I never pay attention to who they think did it until way later in the season since they wrongly accuse about a bajillion people until they finally get the real killer to basically fall in their lap.

Reddick seeing Kallie's ring (it was really Bullet's ring but whatevs) on Skinner's kiddo's finger.  I still can't believe that Skinner would ever be that reckless and careless to give the one ring that EVERYONE knew belonged to one of the missing girls to his daughter.  Of course it is the one piece that moved the story along, so fine.

  11. I was really impressed with how Kail was with the handoff with Jo.  She looked like a real co-parent and it seemed like Jo appreciated her support and that she wasn't gloating about him not wanting to go (which is such a normal 4 yr old response).

I also think Javi doesn't have a realistic view of what it means to be a parent.

  12. Leah's make-up and hair looked horrible when she and Corey made the exchange.

I came here to same the same....Leah's hair and makeup was horrific.  Chelsea usually takes the cake, but damn...Leah looked downright clownriffic!

  13. The money tally at the end of the episode went down by $200.  They owed $1500 in  taxes.  They got $1300 for the cake and had to pay $200 themselves. Therefore, it worked for me.

I have to stop being such a realist about a formulaic comedy...as if they would be paid for a cake that was made of styrofoam or that they would have no other expenses that week and end up being only 200 bucks in the hole.  I thought it was a cute angle when it was first brought up, but it always annoys me....admittedly more than it should.

  14. Frank is guaranteed drama, so as long as he wants a place at the table...he'll get an invite.  He's basically the same as Beth.  Everyone hates her, but will be a Lifer on the Challenges.

I think the only thing that will get you blacklisted is if you and MTV get sued for sexually assaulting someone on the show...*coughs* Evan and Kenny *coughs*  I doubt we will ever see those two again, but other than that, MTV couldn't care less if they tried.

  15. This is not new information, but good God Norma is an idiot.  So Norman is upset that she is afraid of what he does during his blackouts....so she goes ballistic and yells at him to NEVER ASK ME THAT AGAIN.  Sure Norma...now Norman will never be suspicious about what he does or becomes again when he goes dark.  Idjit.

Norman's semen was found in Miss Watson.  Eww.

Emma and Dylan's conversation made me sad because I always felt that Norman's salvation could have been Dylan.  If he had gotten out of that house and away from the bizarre relationship with his mother and lived with Dylan, he might not have turned into Psycho.  I know how this story ends, but I'm intrigued in the ways in which it could have gone another way.

  16. I swear I just watch Grey's now to hate watch it and to see it through since I've been watching it for so long.  I basically just laugh and mock it for most of the hour.

I do get the laundry thing though...since people who tend to work those kind of intense shifts can easily let the basic things go.  It's not like they have the normal 9-5 job where they can come home, make dinner, clean the kitchen, do the laundry and then watch late night tv in bed.  I also don't mind Kepner not wanting to pay for certain things.  It's not about how much money she has now, it's about how she was raised and what she knows.  I could win a million dollars tomorrow and I am still going to be what many would call cheap...aka...fiscally thrifty.  It's part of who I am and I see that in Kepner.

  17. Lindsay Lohan.  Bleck.  I usually love this show, but eww.

One of my main complaints about this show is that I wish that they did more to connect the episode to the cash tally they show at the end of the episode.  It would make it seem more like 2 girls really trying to make it, etc.  This episode they owed $1500 in taxes, but it didn't seem to show at all in the money they had at the end of the show, etc.  I've noticed it more than a few times and it's annoyed me.

  18.

He wouldn't have been injured if he had been up against CT. CT would've just picked him up and put him over the line. Or carried him like a backpack.

Giggles.  CT carrying Bananas like a backpack will forever be my favorite moment in Challenge History.

  19.

As he said, his face is more important than the slim chance at a big payoff down the road.

True especially since the probability of Chet actually winning this thing is about 0.05%.  I don't know why MTV couldn't put some liquid stitching on it and then bandage it up and then Chet could probably continue without much of a chance of major continued damage, but well...watching the women, it was a beast of a competition.  And Chet wasn't even up against some of the bigger, badder guys.  I imagine he'd be dead if he was up against the likes of CT, etc.  ;)

  20. Didn't it seem cruel for Jo to show Isaac his empty former room? Why not just go to the new house right away and start talking it up? Jo could have packed the toys himself and avoided dragging Isaac into it.

I don't think it's cruel of Jo to bring Isaac to his old room at his parents' house.  Sure, it was hard, but I think for a child that age they really have to see that their old room isn't there in order to understand that the room is gone and now his room is at his dad's house.  It would be hard which is why Jo made sure to have some comfort toys there and give him time to react, but I thought it was a well thought out way to introduce him to how some things were changing in his life at Jo's.

  21. Hi All!  I'm a TWOPer who has come over here to play.

I love The Challenges and all of their drunken dramatics.

As for CT and his beard.....1) CT looks mighty fine, no matter what he does IMO.  2) He's from Boston and the beard is a thing these days.

I do think this type of challenge would be better with a secret vote.  It makes it so that people can truly vote as they want to and not worry about the alliances that will still be there if it was anonymous.  I'd love it.  And of course the secrecy would also add to the drama and fighting.

Chet.  What a douche.  I knew he was going to quit as soon as TJ gave him the option.  And Chet is the only guy who could make Frank look more likable.  Chet making some comment like "Thanks Frank" as if he cut his chin on purpose.  Boo.  I am so glad Chet is gone.  He's obnoxious and thinks he's better than everyone else, while having no actual skills.

I did laugh that Bananas tried to control the voting in the first round and it totally didn't work.  Dude, you are not in charge...at least this time around.
