Harley Quinn Comics Talk: Started At The 'Toon, Now She's Here

Basically, this would be the place to talk about Harley Quinn in comic books . . . though I could see an inclusion of prior appearances in media.

I think I prefer her updated "Roller Derby Psycho" look over her original outfit and whatever she wears on Suicide Squad. Getting trade paperbacks from the library, I feel the definitive Harley came from Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner . . . back when they were on her title, and it looked mostly divorced from DC Comics continuity . .  at least compared to her appearances in the Suicide Squad comics. Some might have given Harley a sidekick or two. They gave Harley an entire gang presenting all five borough of New York, and managed to be punny at the same time (Harlem Quinn, male Harvey Quinn, Indian-American Bolly Quinn, the Quinn-tuplets from Staten Island, etc.)
