I hope there is not any existing thread for this film. I used the search box in the upper left corner of the web page but it didn't seem to find any results.

This movie is a personal cause for me. It got a terrible rating on IMDB. It scored 4.7 which is one of the worst scores I've ever seen on that site.

But it's just a delightful film. It's a comedy and it had me chuckling out loud all the way through. If you have ever had a bf or gf or spouse of any kind, I'm quite certain you will enjoy this one. I've seen it three times now. After seeing it the first time, it kept nagging at me to watch it again. I couldn't quite understand why. But when I saw it the second time, I realized the reason was because it was just a lovely film. Very funny (in a small funny kind of way). But really delightful.

I hope that any of you who have not seen this film will find a way to take a look and let me know what you think. You really have to listen to the dialog. I don't mean that in any way that should cause you to have to concentrate. I don't mean it like that. But, the writer of this movie has my enormous respect. I just wish a tiny fraction of other writers had even a tiny little bit as much talent as he does. The writer is Marc Lawrence. I had never heard of him.  He wrote Miss Congeniality and a few other comedies. But, I think this movie is twice as good as Miss Congeniality.

It stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant and it's just a really warm and sweet film. It's about a couple going through the ups and downs of being a couple. But it's just magnificent. I can't believe it only got a 4.7. I showed it to my S.O. and he enjoyed it just as much as I did. He actually thanked me for showing it to him. So, whether you are male or female, I think you will really enjoy this one.

I'm sorry I missed Valentine's Day. But for anyone who does have a Valentine - or wants one - I hope you will give it a try.
