Alien: Covenant (2017)

As always, the visuals are great when it comes to Ridley Scott movie. The rest? Meh.

The problem with this movie is that it barely follows up Prometheus but is such a lazy prequel for the Aliens movies. Well, that and besides the really stupid characters.

Killing off Shaw was a waste. Other than David, she was the only character worth investing, and I kind of wanted to follow her journey after Prometheus. Instead lets kill her off because we can't come up with any real or valid answers raised in the previous movie.

Say what you will, Shaw may have been the Ripley type of her movie but at least she was her own character. Daniels just felt like Ripley-lite.
