wanderingstar October 11, 2014 Share October 11, 2014 (edited) Has anyone else read the Harry Hole series by Norwegian writer Jo Nesbø? I'm reading my third book in this series (I've read them all out of order), and I really enjoy Nesbø's writing style. I also think he generally does a good job of crafting a mystery. I've not been disappointed by any of the payoffs in his books. As for the main character, Harry Hole, I find him to be an enjoyable - if not entirely likable - protagonist. It's not his sloppy appearance or alcoholism that put me off; it's the whole every-one-is-stupid-at-detective-work-except-me stuff that sometimes grates. But I do like Harry's sense of humor.
