The Boxtrolls (2014)

So........pretty disappointed. While I admired the animation, and the technical aspects are truly amazing, the story was flat and predictable to me. I couldn't connect to any of the characters. Also, the importance of cheese was distracting to me, I kept trying to figure out any cheese connection. Our group included three adults and seven kids from 4 to 10. All the kids loved it, even though I thought it might be too dark for the little one she enjoyed it. If you do see it, stay for after the credits. You will enjoy something really cool.
