Revival will air on June 12, 2025 on SyFy and is based on the 2012 Image comic book series of the same name by Tim Seeley (Writer) and Mike Norton (artist).

On one miraculous day (that will come to be known as "Revival Day") in rural Wausau, Wisconsin, the recently deceased suddenly rise from their graves. But not in a zombie way, the "revived" appear and act exactly the same as everybody else, with only one exception, their reviver tissue enables their cellular structure to regenerate, which makes them difficult to kill. A brutal murder has occurred causing chaos in a town that is already gripped by fear and confusion. Everyone, alive and undead, are suspects.

Lara Jean Chorostecki as Patty Cypress, the deceased mother of Em and Dana and the late wife of Wayne Cypress. The glue that held the Cypress family together.

David James Elliott as Wayne Cypress, the longtime Wausau sheriff, determined to keep his town and family as normal and safe as possible — a tall order when the dead return to life in the small town he's sworn to protect.

Romy Weltman as Martha "Em" Cypress, the Sheriff Wayne Cypress' youngest daughter, leads a sheltered life due to a recurring illness, is still figuring out her place in the world. A world that, for her in particular, is now turned upside down. She returns home on "Revival Day" after no one has seen her for weeks.

Maia Jae Bastidas as Kay, Em's opinionated college roommate with a penchant for getting high and getting into trouble.

Melanie Scrofano as Dana Cypress, a single mom, a local police officer who is constantly having to prove her worth to a stubborn sheriff, who just so happens to be her father.

Mark Little as Deputy Brent, Dana's closest confidant on the force – quirky, sweet-hearted, and the lead bowler of the Pinsconsin Pride.

Glen Gould as Deputy JP Brissett, the second in command under Wayne Cypress, a sheriff's deputy who is one of the few that can keep a level head within the chaos following Revival Day.

Nathan Dales as Deputy McCray, the obnoxious, abrasive head of the local Drug Task Force.

Conrad Coates as Mayor Dillisch, Wausau's Mayor who, despite his best efforts, is thrown into the center of the Revival Day mystery and is constantly at odds with the Sheriff.

Andy McQueen as Ibrahim Ramin, a scientist from the Center for Disease Control who has been stationed in Wausau to study the bizarre phenomenon that brought people back to life.

Gia Sandhu as Nithiya Weimar, a seasoned psychologist fighting Stage 4 cancer.

Katherine King So as May Tao, a local journalist with a healthy distrust of the Wausau Police who harbors big secrets of her own.

Steven Ogg as Blaine Abel, Raised by a fire-and-brimstone pastor, Blaine sees Revival Day as his divine calling and will use the fear and chaos within Wausau to build and rally a militia of true believers against the Revivers.
