Wolf King is based on a six book fantasy adventure series, the Wereworld books (2011 to 2013) by Curtis Jobling, Wolf King follows Drew Ferran, a 16-year-old shepherd boy, as he comes of age and discovers he is the last of a long line of Werewolves, and the rightful (yet reluctant) ruler of a land governed by Werelords (creatures that can transform between human and a human-animal hybrid form, like rats, bears, and serpents, when they reach a certain age). Drew must fight to abolish the tyranny of the Lion Lords, King Leopold and Prince Lucas, and reclaim the throne.
