This is a Biblical recreation of how David became the king of Israel. The story follows Saul, the current king of Israel and his family and how they handle the ongoing wars. The prophet Samuel anoints a lowly shepherd boy, David, to become the next king of Israel and David goes on to fight the giant, Goliath, and eventually become the next king of Israel.
