He knows he’s being watched, his advisor died under mysterious circumstances and he recently gets mugged. He should be wary of a stranger who is interested in his work approaching him. Instead, he lets Taylah tagging along to the library because she helps to crack the 11-digit numbers from Safiya. Ed doesn’t even bother to ask Taylah how she knows that primes are essential to digital security. It doesn’t make sense for Taylah not coming clean to Ed at the cafe, about who she is and her involvement in this situation. Ed will trust her more for being transparent from the get go.
