Netflix announced on Sunday that the Duchess of Sussex has decided to postpone the premiere of With Love, Meghan, the lifestyle series that follows Markle as she entertains various guests. When Meghan Markle returned to Instagram to kick off 2025, many were quick to notice that she had disabled the comments on her account. It is the first time in seven years since Meghan has run her own social media.

During a visit to Colombia with Harry in August, Meghan said that she was calling this next stage of her life her “chapter of joy” — and turning the comments off is likely a factor in that aim.

I hope you all had a good first half of January, or, at least one that was as good as it can be.

Otherwise, I’m just dropping in with a quick reminder that this forum is for Meghan’s Netflix show.

I know that information concerning other projects of hosts or actors is often shared in media topics. However, Meghan (and Harry) aren’t necessarily representative of what is commonly defined as traditional TV/media personalities with the occasional side-gig or Red Carpet appearance. They have a number of projects in different fields and this show is just one of them. As this forum is dedicated to this one project specifically, kindly keep in mind that this forum, and the media thread in particular, isn’t an invitation to discuss Meghan (and Harry) more broadly.

With that said, while the information shared should primarily relate to Meghan’s Netflix show, if feel information is relevant even if it’s only indirectly related to the show, it’s okay to share as long as sharing information is the objective.
If your wondering what that means, I think a good guideline is to look at the information and consider why you think it’s relevant in this forum and how it relates to Meghan: Is it about Meghan, the Netflix show host, or Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry’s wife and mother of two? If it’s the latter, it’s probably best to not share it.

When deciding whether it’s a good idea to share the information or not, it can also be helpful to ask yourself what your post’s intention is before posting: Is it to share information, period, or share it in anticipation of replies that might lead to a discussion of Meghan (and Harry)? Again, if it’s the latter, I’d recommend not sharing it.
